Magnolia told the heroes to go on toward Motostoke. She can make the bands and send them there to meet them.
Scorbunny had jumped down from Liam's shoulder into his bag and rustled around, leaping out with an empty Moon Ball in its shrunk form. It began kicking it around and playing with it, accidentally kicking it too hard and nearly missing Sogekishu. Liam scolded the Scorbunny and told it to be more careful and to apologize. Liam stopped and realized he forgot to decide if he wanted to give the Scorbunny a nickname, let alone confirm its gender. It was in fact male and Liam decided to call him Beckham, or maybe on occasion Beck for short.

"The only Pokémon I know that have Dynamaxed or Gigntamaxed without a band are wild Pokémon in Raid Battles," Magnolia answered. "Additionally, there has been no evidence that I've seen to show Dynamaxing happening outside of Spescic spots, called 'Power Spots' here in Galar." She replied.
The heroes reach Magnolia's Lab. Liam knocked on the door and heard some tipping. A red-haired girl answered the door. "Oh, it's you guys, Leon told my gran you might be coming by." She then introduced herself as "Sonia", and said that Prof Magnolia was her grandmother. She opened the door to let them in when a small dog-like Pokémon ran up and put his front legs upon each of the present heroes' legs one at a time.
"Oi! Yamper, stop that!" Sonia scolded.
Liam pulled out his Pokédex.
"Yamper, the Puppy Pokémon. An Electric Type. This Pokémon is very popular as a herding dog in the Galar region. As it runs, it generates electricity from the base of its tail. This gluttonous Pokémon only assists people with their work because it wants treats. As it runs, it crackles with electricity."
Once she got Yamper to settle down, Sonia led the heroes to the main sitting room where a lady was standing leaning on a cane decorated with what at what the quick glimpse Liam had seemed to be a Corviknight. The woman introduced herself as 'Prof Magnolia' and said that she studied the Dynamax Phenomena.
"I saw that you have experienced how it is to face Gigantamax Pokémon Champion Coleman," she said.
"Yeah, but what's the difference between 'Gigantamax' and 'Dynamax'? I've been hearing both terms." Liam inquired.
"Ah, this is easy to explain," Magnolia started. "Any Pokémon can Dynamax, but Giganatmax is even rarer. Only some Pokémon can do it like Leon's Charizard for instance." She explained.
"So Smaug can Gigantamax?" Liam asked.
"Not necessarily," Magnolia answered. "Even though Charizards have a Gigantamax form, not every Charizard can turn into it."
"So, what determines if a Pokémon that can Gigantamax is able to?" Liam asked.
"That is an answer for another time, dear Champion," Magnolia said with a coy smile. "Now, I hear through the grapevine that you youngins have received letters of recommendation to participate in the Galar Leauge, I also see that Champion Coleman has found himself a Scorbunny," She told the others to follow her and she'd show them some other starter Pokémon she has on hand. She also told them that she can have some Dynamax Bands made for them, but it would take a few days, and that she could send them to the Motostoke Pokémon Center when they are done, and that if it all works out right, they would be ready for the opening fesitivities.

Once everyone was on board, the taxi took off to Postwick. It eventually landed there. Liam decided first thing first was to stop at a Pokémon Center. They had a week to get there and register, so they had some time. Liam thought it would be best to keep an eye out for some catches along the way.
Liam pulled out his pokédex. "Corviknight, the Raven Pokémon. A Flying and Steel-Type. This Pokémon reigns supreme in the skies of the Galar region. The black luster of its steel body could drive terror into the heart of any foe. With their great intellect and flying skills, these Pokémon very successfully act as the Galar region's airborne taxi service."
