Liam followed Chuck. A pink-haired girl bumped into Liam and had a curt look on her face.
"Hey! Watch where you're going, you little twerp!" She snapped. "Some loser like you is way beneath my skill level. I was invited to train at the Isle of Armor, jealous I know."
A worker came up and told her that unforatnetly the train to the Isle of Armor was delayed because of a delay on the tracks.
"What!? Why!" She protested.
"Because of some of those." the clerk said pointing a Pokémon standing in the room. It was a Slowpoke, but it looked like its forehead was dipped into yellow paint.

"Slowpoke, Galraian Form the Dopey Pokémon. A Psychic Type. Although this Pokémon is normally zoned out, its expression abruptly sharpens on occasion. The cause for this seems to lie in Slowpoke's diet. In some parts of the world, Slowpoke Tails are considered a delicacy. Because Galarian Slowpoke eat the seeds of a plant that grows only in Galar, their tails have developed a spicy flavor."

"Interesting," Liam said thinking aloud. The Girl sighed and shoved Liam out of the way as he was arching back to toss a Luxury Ball and she tossed a Pokéball of her own and caught it.
Beckham stomped his foot and began trying to yell at her, but he came off more adorable than scary. The worker told her that he was told that the track had now been cleared and she could go to the Isle of Armor.
She looked at the Scorbunny yelling at her. "Yeah, whatever shrimp." She walked by shoving Liam again on her way out.
'Rude," Liam said as she left earshot.

The station came into view and Liam saw his friend. He waved to Chuck as they approached.

"Well, let's go catchup to him,"

"I don't have any other reason to stick around in this location," Liam confirmed.

"Well, the sooner we get there, the sooner we will meet up with her then,' Liam said with a smile.

"So, I guess that is the direction we need to go in. Selina should be nearby then."

"That's right, I wonder if we are close to the Wild Area station,"

"At his size you can try a baseball and after he evolves he can work his way up to soccer ball," Shiranui suggested, thinking a soccer ball is a bit big for a one-foot-tall rabbit.

"You're right a soccer ball might be a bit much at his current size," Liam replied. "How much further are we to the next town?"

"I guess we'll have to look into buying Beckham a ball to play with," Liam said.

Beckham was poised and ready for some battling. In his pep, he inadvertently kicked a rock into a Rookidee, angering it and making it cry for the rest of its flock. The Rookidee flock was accompanied by a larger, black bird as well.

"Rookdiee, the Tiny Bird Pokémon. A Flying-Type. Jumping nimbly about, this small-bodied Pokémon takes advantage of even the slightest opportunity to disorient larger opponents."

"Corvinight, the Raven Pokémon. a Flying and Steel-Type, and Rookidee's fully evolved form. This Pokémon reigns supreme in the skies of the Galar region. The black luster of its steel body could drive terror into the heart of any foe."

Beckham screamed in terror as he ran back toward his trainer and did a running slide between Liam's legs for hiding.
"Smaug! It's time to shine!" Liam called out his Charizard whose Roar frightened most of the Rookidee away, and more scattered when Smaug used Flamethrower on Corvinight. One Rookidee fell to the ground while the rest of the flock flew away in terror.

Liam ran over to check on the fallen Pokémon and he noticed it was an unusual color, much like Attrocitus and Sherlock, Liam's Gyrados and Alakazam respectively. It seemed as though it wasn't really hurt it just was frightened and fell to the ground. it sprang up and blinked wildly as its surroundings before flying off. It went to a tree on the edge of Liam's vision where Corvinight poked its head out, squawked at the Rookiedee and smacked it away with Steel Wing. Smaug swooped over and caught it and brought it back to Liam. The Rookidee had a bruise on it's head as it fought back tears from the pain.
While Liam was calming it down so he could look at it having pulled his first aid kit from his bag, Beckham was once again playing with empty balls from out of Liam's bag, accidentally kicking a Luxruy Ball at the Rookidiee. The yellow bird was sucked in and the ball shook three times before pinging shut.
"You don't see that every day," Liam commented as his Pokédex notified him about Rookidee being registered to it.
