OhmLiam had done a bit of prep work while Chuck had his tongue out like he was a Lickytung. Liam walked out in his Dragon Uniform. The jumbotron now showed him in Shiranui's place.
"Welcome challenger," Nessa greeted. "I have to say getting to face two champions in the same day is quite remarkable, and not something I get to say that often, but no matter what plan you may have, I'll hang you out to dry."
"Oh, you'll see what I can do, don't you worry about me." Liam said with a smirk.

"Go my friend, it's time to shine!" Liam said tossing a Luxruy Ball out revealing a shiny Flapple.

"I see you have found a Galarian Dragon, I have to say I am not surprised Champion Coleman," Nessa commented.
"Use Bite!" Nessa called.
"Leech Seed!" Liam called. Flapple let the fish come in close and chomp, but in exchange got a clear shot to attach the draining seed to it

"Peck!" Nessa called. Flapple smirked as he quickly threw something in his mouth just before the attack hit. Peck did not seem to do much damage at all.
"I see, Flapple ate a Coba Berry to reduce the damage from the flying-type move, very clever," Nessa commented.
"Not just that, Flapple has the ability Ripen which doubles the effects of a berry, meaning Peck damage was lowered significantly. Now Flapple, Grav Apple!" An apple fell from a great height, scoring a critical hit and lowering Arrokuda's Defense however, Leech Seed finished it off.
"Arrokuda is unable to battle, Flapple wins!" The Rotom Ref reported. Nessa replaced it with Goldeen. Liam recalled Flapple for Balin the Sirfetch'd.

"First Impression!" Liam called. Balin quickly made a strike at the fish with his leak-spear. Goldeen took a good deal of damage, but made contact with Peck, doing a good deal of damage.
"Use Leaf Blade!" Liam called. Sirfetch'd got a critical hit and KO'd Goldeen.
"Looks, like I'm down to one Pokémon, I've said the best for last," Nessa said sending out her Dreadnaw. Liam swapped back to Flapple

"Flood the stadium and make it our ocean! Dreadnaw, time to Dynamax!" Nessa announced as she activated her Dynamax Band. Dreadnaw Dynamaxed and now towered over Liam's Pokémon even more than normal. Liam activated his Z Power Ring, but an observant person could notice that he did not have the Dragnium Z plugged in like normal, but the Grassnium Z. Grav Apple was channeled into Bloom Doom, dealing a great deal of damage that Dreadnaw managed to survive.
"This is a little gift from us... I hope you can take it! Use Max Geyser!" The massive water attack hit dealing a good deal of damage considering it was double resisted.
(Dyna 1)
"Leech Seed!" Liam called. the seed was launched out and wrapped around the giant Pokémon, who retaliated with another Max Geyser. Flapple was starting to look worse for wear. Leech Seed sapped some HP away from the giant Pokémon.

"Use Grav Apple again!" Liam called, The attack hit dealing good damage considering it was against a giant Pokémon that was double weak and STAB Nessa Called for Max Strike, getting a crit and a win.
"Flapple is unable to battle, Dreadnaw wins!" The Rotom Ref announced.
Liam called out Balin again

"Max Darkness!" Nessa called.
"Final Gambit!" Liam called back. Ballin charged in struck the Dynamaxed Pokémon sacrificing itself to deal a great deal of damage, which ended in a KO and since this was a Dynamax, appropriately enough with a huge explosion. Liam ran out to catch Balin as he fell back KO'd.
"Neither Dreadnaw and Balin are able to battle, since challenger Colemen still has one Pokémon remaining, he is the victor!" The Rotom Ref announced.
"I may proudly be the strongest member of this Gym, but I was totally washed away!" Nessa said as she shook hands with Liam and handed over the Water Badge.
