Sceptile scoffed at that but said nothing else, she respected Shinranui and Raijuu battle so she would remain on the sidelines to show them that, though she did knock out a Rocket Grunt and his pokemon who tried to take a cheep shot at Shinranui and Raijuu.

Haru noticed Liam direction and activated a trap which would clear the way for Liam to go for the Imposter Brandon without interruption. "Let's see how good you really are, Nurse boy" Haru said to herself quietly.

"OK, drop the act. I know you aren't the Pyramid King," Liam said flatly. "Let me guess, this is a front by Team Rocket to let all the strong trainers from the World Coronation who came here to tire out their Pokémon so we couldn't fight back from having our Pokémon stolen."

"I have no clue what you are talking about," the fake Brandon said. "You shouldn't go around making accusations like that."
Liam stared at him, as if trying to place something that looked familiar. Then, it clicked in his head. "It's been a long time since Goldenrod Radio Tower, Petrel."
AT this point, the fake Brandon was getting flustered. So much that only the most oblivious of onlookers would still believe he ruse. He growled and flung off his disguise.
"You darn brat. Why'd did you have to show up here of all places?"
"Just bad luck on your part," Liam said. "Now, why target the World Coronation. How did Team Rocket even know about this?"
"Actually, we didn't. We were just going to stell Brandon's precious Regis for Giovanni, but then we saw a note about Brandon hosting an even here in Galar for it. From there you are right. Matori will be here shortly with an army of Grunts to pick off what's left of the resistance before we take you're Pokémon."
"Like that'll happen," Liam said calling out Duraladon.
Petrel tossed two Pokéballs up. A Koffing and a Weezing emerged.
"Gyro Ball, both of you!" Weezing plowed into Duraladon while the Koffing smacked into Liam knocking the wind out of him, thus leaving him briefly unable to issue commands or activate his Z-Power Ring. Beckham burst out of his Luxury Ball and looked at Liam on the floor with the wind knocked out of him.
"Raboot?" He then looked up at the laughing Petrel and decided to taunt Beckham, whose Ember messed Weezing, resulting in more taunting from the Rocket. This gave Liam enough time to get back up and while his opponent was getting carried away with his mockery, swapped the Dragnium Z for Firium Z.
"Beckham, thanks for the Assist, now let's clean up." Liam started to the Z move poses.
"Take this! The Zennith of our power! Inferno Overdrive!" Ember was channeled into the Z move and KO'd both of Petrel's Pokémon. Beckham charged forward and gave Petrel a Double Kick to the stomach, so he knew how he felt Liam fell.

The Mega Steelix crashed to the ground, KO'd. Skarmory tried to fly in to do a point-blank Toxic on Raijiu.

Liam defeated another trainer, slowly trying to make his way to the imposter Brandon so that he can be in position to fight the fraud.

Steelix was hit. "OK, play time is over," Atilla growled. Pulled a Mega Bracelet out of his pocket and tossed a Steelixite toward his Pokémon, activating the keystone.
"I gotta remember to thank the boss for these," As the transformation ended he called for Earthquake wile Hun had Skarmory plant Spikes.

"Hold it, Sceptile," Shiranui interjected, showing himself, "I think someone would like a word with them. Raijuu, Discharge!" He sent out the very legendary the Rockets sought to capture and with that, the legendary Raikou loosed a flare of electricity right at Atilla and Hun.

Atilla quickly tossed out a Ball and a Steelix emerged, tanking the electrical attack. Hun commented that it looked as though they would have a second chance and sent out her Skarmory, commanding it to use Toxic.

Atila, a brawny blonde man and Hun, a silver-haired women opened the door to where Shiranui and the Sceptile were.
"We know you are in here," Hun warned. "You don't stand a chance against us, we are the Rocket duo who were able to capture the legendary Raikou." While this was technically true, she left out that they caught it in a cage, not a Pokéball and that due to the actions of some young trainers, Raikou got away. (See: The Legend of Thunder)

Liam was having delayed responses to the psychic link since he was battling at the same time.
"Heracles, use Megahorn!"

"Why would Haru switch sides and help us out?" he puzzled, "I'm missing something here."

"We can worry about that part later once we have expelled the Rockets." Liam telepathically added in.

"Mr. Tsukiko, heads up! Billie and Kidd know that their partners guarding Brandon's assistants are KO'd. They could be expecting you." Sherlock added in.

"Annie and Oakie are not responding," Kidd said annoyed.
"It's probably those dragon and ninja brats." Billie sneered. "We need Atilla and Hun to go run interference. I don't know why Matori sent Biff and Cassidy to Kalos. we could use those two"
Billie and Kidd turned to look at the tied-up Brandon.
"Not so high and mighty without your precious Regis, huh?" Billie taunted.
"You guys are fools to think you will succeed," Brandon said.
"Oh, please its not like you can do anything to us. We already took all five of your Pokémon." Kidd added.
Unknown to his captors, they left him with one Pokémon, his Solrock. Brandon had also been subtlely cutting through the binding ropes with a knife, waiting for the duo to let their guards down.

"Psyduck, use Psychic!" Heracles was flung into a wall, but charged forward with Brick Break, earning the win. He turned around to see a trainer approaching the fake Shiranui to battle. Thinking quickly, Liam lied and told them that all of his friend's Pokémon were resting from some tough battles, and that he was just there to cheer Liam on. He was hoping Zorro would nod to collabearte the lie.

Sherlock then spoke into Shiranui's mind. "Take the stairs off to the right. Will you save Brandon first or his assistants? They are an equal distance from us. "

Before Liam could move from his spot, he was challenged by another trainer who sent out a Psyduck. Liam battled using Heracles.

"If that's the Battle Pyramid then Brandon is here doing some research," stated Shiranui, "Rotom, are there any legendary titans around here?"
"Checking…two entries found. First entry: Regieleki, the Electron Pokémon. An Electric type. Its entire body is made up of a single organ that generates electrical energy. Regieleki is capable of creating all Galar’s electricity. Second entry: Regidrago, the Dragon Orb Pokémon. A Dragon type. Its body is composed of crystallised dragon energy. Regidrago is said to have the powers of every dragon Pokémon."

Liam's ears perked upon hearing about the Dragon-Type Regi. "I may have to fight the Pyramid King for that one," Liam was searching for Brandon so they could say hi. But, one of the attendants flagged the duo down and ushered them into the Battle Pyramid to be with the other participating trainers.
"Do you think we could have a moment to talk with Brandon?" Liam inquired.
"Sorry, but the Pyramid King, is very busy at this moment, and can't talk to any trainers. If he talks to one of you, he has to talk to all of you."
Liam started to say something, but heard a voice in his head say.
"Sir, please pardon my interruption." It was Sherlock, Liam's Alakazam. At this point, he started communicating telepathically with Shiranui as well. "That Brandon and his attendants are imposters. I sense two rooms below with people tied up being watched by others. To be precise, The real Brandon is being watched over by Billie and Kidd. The attendants are being watched over by another pair of Rockets I don't know. I am unsure of who the other Rockets here are." From there Liam using Sherlock as a Middle Mon, asked if they should both go looking for the captives, or if both of them being gone might be suspecious since if these are Rockets, they might be watching the two of them.

With that, Liam and Shiranui returned to mainland Galar to the Giant Seat. As They approached, Liam spotted a manmade prymid structure. "Hey, Shiranui! Look whose here!" Liam said pointing out the Battle Pryamid.
