Liam sent rotated his team around to accommodate many fliers: Flapple, Corvisquire, Smaug the Charizard, Pidgeot. Jiraiya the Greninja and Grimm the Dusknoir were also called in. He showed them all pictures of the Ultra Beasts with the Rotom phone and had them scatter to inspect the entire Wild Area. Within five minutes, everyone returned having not found any Ultra Beasts, Jiraiya did find something. He leaped down from the tree branch and pointed to Liam's foot and pressed his own foot on the ground, implying he found human-sized footprints that seeming started out of nowhere.
"You're saying that you found human footprints that seemingly started out of nowhere?" Liam asked.
"Nin."
"So, I wonder if it was one of those Ultra recon guys?" Liam said.

Once everyone was out in the wild area, Liam looked off to the left and did in fact see a bridge. Once the heroes reached it, Liam stopped to look over the bridge to the other side. He wondered what else awaited them in Galar. As Liam stepped on the bridge, his Rotom phone blurted out: "You have a Phone call from Faba! You have a Phone call from Faba!" Liam had a quizzical look on his face as he never expected Faba to call him. He expected that would come from Wicke or Lusimane. Liam pressed the button to accept the call as Faba appeared on the screen.
"Faba, is something wrong?"
"Hello, Champion Coleman," Faba said. "It may be nothing to worry about, but while Miss Lusamine is out looking for her husband, and Wicke is out of the office at the moment, I felt that it had to be me to bring you this news. It may have just been a glitch in our systems, but we briefly detected an Ultra Wormhole in Galar's Wild Area just now. Since you and your companions are already in the area, I felt that I should let you know."
"That shouldn't be a problem," Liam said. 'Thankfully, I still have a few Beast Balls left over." With that, Faba quickly ended the transmission without saying "good-bye".
"He really needs to work on his manners." Liam thought to himself.

Liam also thanked the first three gym leaders for seeing them off.

The heroes set off for the exit of town. But, a voice called out to them as Kabu approached with Milo and Nessa in toe. Kabu explained how they all three try to come and see off challengers after they defeat Kabu, as many do not make it to that point. Kabu mentioned that they need to return to the Wild Area and head west to reach a bridge, then cross it and go north for a while to reach the next city.

In a few minutes, Joy and a few female Indede brought the heros' pokémon back to them. After handing over the treys, the all bowed in unison and wished the heroes a nice day.
