Current Sorry for my lack of posts lately. I've just... been struggling to get the energy to write something up. I'm trying some new meds through so hopefully that will change soon.

"Sergeant, while I respect your intentions you and I both know that the Valkyrur didn't do us any favors; Kind of hard for a dead people to help anyone from beyond the grave. And I wouldn't be so quick to completely retire Bons from Lancer duty just yet... never know when you need another rocket firing after all." Andrew began earnestly. He meant no disrespect in the slightest, just stating his stance on the matter. It was amazing how merely making your stance on an issue known could attract fights but it was better to get it over and done with as soon as possible if it was going to happen.

Turning towards Corporal Celeste Stichler as she approached and introduced herself, Andrew offered the corporal a bow of his head in acknowledgement and a warm smile. "Oh, losing that title isn't all bad. Now the snipers have someone else to aim at. It's a pleasure to meet you Corporal Stichler and I look forwards to working with you. I saw/heard about your work during that training mission earlier on and you clearly have good aim... and a loud voice." There was a bit of a smirk at the end, but it was clearly good humored. Andrew couldn't help but hope that she didn't die.

Watching as a new transfer arrived, another Darcsen from the looks of it, Andrew nodded his head as they were all dismissed and given their assignments before they shipped out. As he walked away, Andrew's destination was clearly going to be the nearest stockpile of food he could get to. He had taken to heart the advice of his old corporal Jackrum (Surprisingly still alive, despite losing his left arm and both legs... And this was after losing his left eye in the last war. Apparently he was a quartermaster now somewhere) to 'fill his boots with soup. There are many means of dispatching an enemy without the use of guns or ammunition with enough creative thought and desperation, but an army that is starving can't do a damn thing except decide among themselves who's getting Steve's leg. Don't look at me like that, Steve wasn't using it anymore and it was good eating!'.

Corporal Jackrum was insane, but damn if he didn't give good advice.
Glad to hear you are doing somewhat better Lennon.

I'm fairly certain that by the time the group gets back from the Crossroad's mission, the news about what happened to Andrew's old company (Or at least the propaganda version of events anyway) would have gotten around. That will be interesting.
Any Jedi that wants to be captured by Azariah, feel free to poke me and we can work something out!
~| The Jedi Temple, fifteen minutes after the sacking began. |~

It was a strange feeling; To stand at an historic moment in the galaxy. There could be no denying that the Sith empire openly bombarding the capital of the Republic and sacking the Jedi temple was anything else then a moment that would long be remembered and that there were Sith all over the galaxy right this second that would slaughter and burn a dozen worlds just for the chance to be standing in the burning ruins of the Jedi Temple of Coruscant while the few remaining jedi within were being hunted down and slaughtered like nerfs.

Azariah didn't really feel anything as he walked past the bodies of dead Jedi, Sith and non force sensitive solders of both sides, lightsaber firmly in hand and ready to bring up at the first sign of trouble. This was simply something that had to happen, no more, no less. Still, this didn't mean he couldn't benefit from the chaos.

With Darth Nyiss already focused on her hunt, Azariah broke off from the group to go hunting for his own objectives. While he would keep the idea of capturing jedi in mind, it was merely a secondary objective. Azariah's primary objectives were the archives and the vaults... Knowledge was power and he was not going to let the chance to increase his own understanding of the force to slip through his fingers just because they had a limited amount of time.

The first target had to be the archives through... hopefully he would be able to download and copy something worthwhile before some short sighted zealot burned the whole thing to the ground!
@Dervish@SimplyJohn

Those are both fairly good points.

I don't think Twi'leki/human relations can be called bestiality through. Fairly certain that would get you into trouble.
...What exactly would you think the Jedi Temple's stance on trans-sexuality would be? They are a highly conservative religious order that disproves things like strong emotion, personal attachment and emotional relationships of any kind. They also discourage jedi marrying each other because they fear the creation of powerful force dynasties.

Personally I feel that its one of those grey areas that the Jedi Council refuses to call one way or the other because it seems more like a decision that every individual jedi needs to make for themselves on how they feel about it.
The fact that their new commanding officer was a Sergeant was a little surprising to Andrew, but what really caught his attention was the fact that the man was a darcsen. That was a good sign! Considering that a lot of organizations maintained a culture of stopping Darcsen's at the door, if not outright dragging them off and breaking their legs in a metaphysical sense, the fact that a darcsen had been able to raise high enough to achieve a commanding rank was a sign that he was good enough at his job that even the bigots and the zealots that no doubt made up the man's superiors couldn't brush his achievements aside or deny him promotion to sergeant.

Cracking a small smile at the man's joke and waiting until James the army transfer was done before throwing in his own two cents "If you can't tell I'm a lancer myself. Already had my trial by fire with my old company; Killed enough pieces of imperial trash to get a medal for it. I would like to earn more Sir." It wasn't much of a joke, but a stab at humor was better then nothing.
I'll get a post up shortly.
Oh shit, GoT just arrived. Let's hope there's not a Red Wedding or someone has the name of Stark in this, else I know who to aim for. Just don't pester me when the next GM post is and I won't have to kill another Stark!

@MonkeyBusiness
*starts working on CS's for a whole family of Jedi named 'Stark' who'll all be killed within the first three weeks of the story*

Yes, on the way back to Imperial space we stop by a planet with a thriving nightlife in which a Jedi dynasty are celebrating a wedding... Because if there are two things Sith love it's weddings and painting the town red.
It might be a little while before I can post something.
