Current Sorry for my lack of posts lately. I've just... been struggling to get the energy to write something up. I'm trying some new meds through so hopefully that will change soon.

If you can get the co-post started before I wake up and get started on, go right ahead.

@Spud Irish or Northern Irish?
@Sep

That was part of Loki's plan, yes. Even have a good exit strategy in mind too. If nothing else, it'll get us away from the military and the media... Doubt it's going to stop America or Thor through.

Seriously, I want to see the fallout from this; The American military actively operating on US soil (Something that I'm fairly certain is illegal, even in the Marvel Universe), a giant humanoid beast that is trying to flee/rampaging through the city, a man of possible irish decent who looks like he belongs at a medieval festival with actual magical powers trying to help said beast, a latino teenage girl with superpowers using a streetlamp as a bat to attack the green beast man and a blond woman wearing viking armor and wielding a one handed hammer trying to smash in the skull of the possible irish man. That's provided that Spiderman and the self proclaiming 'KILLER UNICORN' brawl doesn't spill over into as well...

I'm fairly certain we may have broken the internet with this fight.

Why not. In fact, Thor is showing interest in joining after a couple of posts as well so this is quickly growing into a major brawl... Just need Spiderman and the Killer Unicorn to join us and I'm fairly sure that the evening news is just going to be replaying what happens over and over again in stunned silence.
I would like to think that our wise and almighty Dungeon Keeper will spare those of us that actually came up with a plan and would have succeeded in implementing it to get slaves and supplies had the village not been wiped off the face of existence by a giant fireball.

But seriously, any minion worth their salt that looked at the glowing red rune and didn't naturally assume that one of their 'allies' was trying to kill them deserves to be on fire... Expect of course Torren, who will be very happy about all the fire but might be a little peeved that the blacksmith he had secured for us metaled around him.

By all means. I can explain what I had planned for Loki to originally do and how America's involvement buggered it up/caused a slight change in plans.
As Twich was on his way to check out the second granary, his pony came to a stop and reared as the ground around them started to glow a bright red... and singing voices filled the air. Clinging to the pony for dear life, Twich's mind quickly started to go through the few pieces of magic theory he had deemed fit to study out of curiosity and enjoyment back in the day and was quickly coming up blank. Sure, he had picked up a few useful pieces of information but magic wasn't his passion and he wasn't one to use it.

There was no way in all the underworld that this was being cast by any of the villagers... They would have seen evidence of such a powerful spell caster long before they arrived! So clearly it was one of his allies that was casting it. Surely they wouldn't cast something that would wipe out the village and everything in it before their allies could loot everything of value and vacate the place surely?

That line of through died very quickly in Twich's brain as he reconsidered who his so called 'allies' were and an old saying of his tribe; 'You couldn't have been my ally, you made such a good target!'

Twich directed the pony towards the nearest exit to the village and made it bolt as fast as it could go, clinging to it because his life might depend on staying on the bloody thing. The supplies would be fine provided someone didn't freaking magically purge the place from the face of the earth. If they did, he would very much rather be outside the glowing red circle of death so that the loss of the supplies would actually be a problem worth worrying about.

Thank you. I try.

Honestly, Loki would find the whole thing freaking hilarious because he absolutely hated Thor; That and 'his' version of Thor tended to be a bit more... arrogant when it came to matters of gender.

And of course he is going to check the new girl out. She's kind of hot if you haven't noticed.
I would like to point out that Loki isn't actually evil... at least my version isn't.

And posted.

There were quite a number of reasons why Loki enjoyed the company of humans over other creatures; The fact that they were similar in appearance to himself was part of it (and sex was an absolutely wonderful thing) but what he loved the most about them was just how they danced when it came to the matters of Order and Chaos. Most of the other races that he recalled from the old days had tended to lean one way or the other and stayed that way, but humans stood out because they seemed able to jump from one state to the other like the drop of a hat.

Of course, there was a downside to this. Sometimes humans just went plain crazy... This was even more of a problem when the person who had gone stark raving mad was in a position of power in charge of a lot of trained solders with fairly dangerous weaponry... it tended not to end well.

This was the only conclusion that Loki could came to as he watched the green hulking humanoid 'beast' below from his unseen perch on one of the buildings near the docks; Whomever was in charge of those solders down their was stark raving mad and needed to be removed from a position of power before he got even more people killed. Loki had been trailing the green beast for a little while now, trying to work out its abilities and pick the best method of attack when it came time to finally strike and he had noticed something that had made him reconsider his decision.

It wasn't attacking anything, it was just trying to flee from the city.

Some might argue that the dead and injured solders that had already been left behind was proof otherwise but the beast only attacked to defend itself, or when escape had been cut off. Had it been left to its own devices, Loki suspected it would have just jumped into the sea and been on its merry way without a single casualty but some Odin's damn fool had decided to cut it off and engage it in a gods damn city!

Despite Odin's many, many flaws the old bastard wouldn't have been stupid enough to pick this as a battleground; He would have let it get clear of the city and if the beast was enough of a threat or a concern that it needed to be dealt with in one way or another he would have sent someone to hunt it down in the wilds.

Gears turned in Loki's head as he started to formulate a plan to end this as quickly as possible with a minimum loss of life... and if possible humiliate the fool that had brought this situation about in the process.
