Current Sorry for my lack of posts lately. I've just... been struggling to get the energy to write something up. I'm trying some new meds through so hopefully that will change soon.

I joined this during one of the earlier incarnations but RL called me away. I would love to join again with a new Sith character if you will have me.
Watching in silence as the bullheaded man and the strange human woman left him alone after the man had thrown a fit at being accused of serving the dark gods, Khaz remained where he was for a moment before shrugging and turning back to camp. He would have to stash the weapon he had confiscated somewhere safe; He did fully intend to return it when the guy calmed down enough to apologize for his outrageous behavior and he couldn't do that if his weapon of choice got damaged or went missing.

If the man replaced it with another, he would simply turn it in to the powers that be and be done with it.

Placing the weapon down in a small section of his 'shelter' so that it was secure but out of his way, Khaz rolled his shoulders before laying down. From the sounds of it, tomorrow was going to be a big day and he needed to rest up. Without much fuss, he drifted off to sleep.

No. It just means that they had an amazing player to help them out. You can be the best GM in the world, but if your players aren't able to post because of real life then it doesn't matter. You are denying someone else the chance to tell an amazing story with your help because you seem to believe that it reflects badly on you if they succeed when its the opposite. They can only be successful because of you and the other players.
@KatherinWinter

Right now you're burned out and upset because you've been under a lot of stress lately. If you don't mind me asking, why do you seem so against joining someone elses game as a player instead of running one yourself?
@KatherinWinter

Doesn't have to be for long and I know you'll be missed. But your stressed out and need to find a way to unwind. Maybe that just means you'll be a player in someone elses game or maybe that means finding something else to do for a while. We'll be waiting for you when you get back.
@KatherinWinter

Then take a break from it and find something else you enjoy doing. It sounds like you're burned out and need a rest from posting for a while.
@KatherinWinter

Dude, from the sounds of it you are going through a rough patch right now. I feel awful that I seem to be the last straw to a much larger problem that was bothering you.

A large part of why I lost interest in John was because his partner didn't really post that often. I can respect the fact that some people are busy and it can take a while to get a post up (I myself am guilty of this) but nothing kills an Rp faster then having to wait five days for a post without warning of the delay constantly. By the time a new partner was available I couldn't muster the effort anymore.

Besides, in hindsight John was a poor choice for an Rp like this. His undead status was always going to be in the way.
@KatherinWinter

Mate, take it from someone who had tried and failed to GM plenty of times before; Running a game can be one of the hardest, most stressful things you can do. I can respect the fact that you're kind of burned out yourself because I've been there before as well.

It sounds like your taking a break from running RP's for a while and that's fair enough; Try and join a couple through as a player. Maybe just having some fun without having to stress yourself out running the thing is what you need right now.
@KatherinWinter

...You know what? I think all you need is to start fresh. Remake this thread from the start and get some fresh blood in. Hell, I'll rejoin and bring John with me if you want.
@KatherinWinter

Dude, the idea was awesome. I just joined it at a bad time; Had to travel a lot and by the time I got back it was really hard to get back into the Rp's I was in.
