Did you know that Dante's inferno is called a divine comedy because things work out for the protagonist? Back in the day, the only two genres were comedy and drama. The only difference was that in a comedy, the protagonist is better off at the end, and a drama is the opposite. So that's why a story about going through hell can still be considered a comedy, even if it's not funny.

Name:
Broken Promise, BP, Boss

Age:
Old enough to know better, too young to care. (that is to say 30's)

Preferred RPs:
I Prefer to make my own, but will occasionally join something if it looks interesting. I'll join just about anything so long as it isn’t overly edgy/sweet, though it's rare for me to do. I don't do 1x1s too often either.

Preferred Roles:
I tend to play adorable characters everyone wants to befriend or proper assholes everyone wants to stay away from. I try not to play moral paragons or prime evils.

RP Conquests:
I've completed quite a few RP's off site, but most of them are on private forums or have simply been lost to the ravages of server crashes. As for stuff here, I'm sure everyone who sees me post in the off topic sections has seen me find an excuse to talk about Danganronpa: Tower of Carnage. It's a project that took over 4 years to complete and I feel pride not only for myself but all the wonderful people who helped make it enjoyable during its run. Re: Zero: The High Council Is technically my first, but it was just something I kind of took over and ended up ending the story after just six months. It finished, but eh...

Last RP I finished was Symphony of Espers which turned out pretty good.

RP's in progress:
For some reason I can't seem to stay away from Ari's magical girl RP, even if I'm not sure why I'm still in it.

As for my own projects, I'm doing Symphony on High to continue the gigachad adventures of the espers in Pax Septimus.

RP Graveyard:
I've been pretty fortunate on this forum. I think I joined one when I first came on the site that didn't really do anything, and there are a few 1x1 things that didn't go anywhere. It's disappointing when an RP ends before it can be finished, but I've come to look at them as learning experiences.

And then there's that london magical girl RP, and that dark magical girl RP. I think I'm done joining magical girl RPs for a while.

Other interests:
Videos
I watch a lot of educational videos on youtube. Usually as research for something I’m writing or purely because a topic interests me. I like channels like Tier Zoo and Daryl Talks Games, and I’ll also watch things like Critical Drinker or Literature Devil to deepen my understanding of story telling. Though I also like memes and jokes, to which I’ll find myself watching stuff like Sseth, but usually find myself surfing through meme videos. I gotta work on that.

Games
I have a rather long history of playing virtually every platformer to come into existence during the indie boom, as well as quite a few other indie games. I’ve played Meatboy, Binding of Issac, Gunvolt, Cuphead, Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, Classic Metroid, Warcraft 3, Final Fantasy 7,8, and 14, Left 4 Dead, Shantae, Celeste, Danganronpa, God Eater, the list goes on. What I’ve played is kind of all over the place. I don’t play many games these days, I tend to pick things that look interesting and go on a decent steam sale.

Painting Minis
I do this in moderation. Otherwise, it's a pretty expensive hobby to start...

Music
I listen to everything, save most country/rap songs. I have too many favorites to name.

Personality:
Not one to take life or the internet too seriously. Is only serious about writing well and having a good time.

People to Insult:
Dalton is a Dingus.

Jenneva's sudden appearance distracted Junko just long enough for for the snake woman to beat her to the cute snek. The fashionista would spend the next few seconds trying to stare a hole through the snake woman's head. Though the united cries for adventure would bring her out of this trance.

"Yea. And good point Harbringer of Ferocity. We should get a move on." she sighed. "I was kind of hoping our metal friend here would lead us to some dungeon to explore, but I have plenty of quests lined up anyway!" Junko reached into her cleavage and fished out a notepad. "Okay, but before we go on an adventure, we do need a break down of everyone's skill sets." she flipped open the note pad and started jotting down notes. "As the ultimate fashionista, I'm clearly the most charismatic among us. Not only that, but I'm also the wealthiest. So on top of being the most able leader, I guess my class would be a... Merchant!" Junko giggled and jotted a few things down. "I think we know who the tank in the group is." She gestured towards the mech. "How about the rest of you? What can you provide that would make an adventure go smoothly?"

What if you can make ghost mode view-able only to those individuals you're friends with (not that are friends with you, to be clear)? This would prevent stalkers as honestly, if someone is harassing you than you're not likely to have them as a friend and if you don't want them to know you're online then you can just unfriend them to eliminate that ability to see you online or not.

As a GM I strongly oppose this idea. I like being able to see if someone is logging on daily so that I can take proper actions with them. If you haven't posted in my RP, or otherwise contacted me, and you log in daily, I know you dropped out of my RP. But if you haven't been on the forum for weeks, you could be going through an emergency.

Perhaps having an ignore list that prevents you from receiving PMs from users would be the best of both worlds. GMs could still monitor ghost users, and ghost users could protect themselves from unwanted stalkers.

The fashionista didn't move her head, but her eyes rolled to the corner of her eye sockets to observe the newly arrived... snake?

"The vibrations from that mecha must have woken it up." Junko squatted in place before reaching for the snake. Was it poisonous? hardly mattered! she wanted to pick it up.

(OOC: I don't think I can be a part of this game...)

OOC: Eh, I doubt very many people know what "AheGao" is. While my avatar depicts a gleeful Junko, she has yet to actually use that expression in this game. You could be a random school girl that isn't making that face. Changing your avatar is also an option, but not something I feel is necessary. Again, one of the rules is not to think too hard.
A shaman panda that fights with a giant sword and shurikens? Hmmm, I've been wanting to resurrect my one-liner spouting, 4 armed electric demon dude for a while now.

I might be interested in taking you up. Though I haven't done any arena fighting before. I'm in a match with Inkarnate, but it hasn't exactly started yet.

I'll need to give your character a closer look, I just kind of skimmed them. I'd like our characters to come from the same world and actually have a reason for facing each other.

Unless you've already got a match lined up/would rather fight someone more experienced.
@UnknownScarlet4Nah, that's fine. You can if you want, but I'm not bothered by it.
Updated the active/inactive character list. Hard to believe we still have over ten active characters, even if you don't include my own.

You may notice a small gap in the inactive character list. The ones above the gap are still in the killing game, while the ones at the bottom are both inactive and out of the killing game.

In other news, I'll be posting for Davis/Bliss before the weekend.
Merlin
Oh, far too many to name...

...but I'll name a few.

Common Courtesy

You are roll playing with real people, who are putting real time into a hobby they love. You might join an RP and decide it's not for you. AND... That's okay. I joined a magical girl RP on here that I very quickly realized wasn't for me. Instead of of going radio silent, I stuck around until I was done with the scene my character was involved in. Then I made my character leave the RP.

If you bail on an RP, you're a dick. If you think a character sheet should be treated as a blood contract, you're also a dick. It is possible to leave an RP in a way that your fellow players and GM will still respect you.

Some Things Aren't Worth Venting Publicly, if at All

It's a known fact that OOC drama kills RPs. If you have a problem with a user, it might be a better idea to PM the person you're having a problem with than call them out in OOC where they are more likely to defend their image. If it's nothing you want to address them directly about, the GM is a good person to contact directly. But making a mess in OOC doesn't help anyone. Remember this rhyme: "Don't gotsey the OOC, PM the GM."

And then there are those times when your problem with a user is nothing more than a pet peeve. Suck it up or leave.

Communicate

It's actually amazing how many users will tell you about their vacation, self-imposed-hiatus, or temp job AFTER they get back from it. It's understandable that there will be emergencies and you won't be able to communicate with your RP buddies. But if it's a foreseeable road block, there's nothing stopping you from dropping by the OOC, Discord, or PMing those necessary that you will be absent in advance.

The Function of Collabs

Some people believe that collabs are nothing more but time sinks that add nothing to an RP. Some people actually encourage people to not collab unless they have to.

"And you would be...?"

"Y-you don't know?!" The school girl seem to have snapped out of her alternate personality, if it was even possible to say she had a main personality to start with. "Well, I don't get to introduce myself very often. Being the worlds's greatest fashionista and all. I'm even called 'ultimate' level by some. but I suppose you aren't exactly a devout follower of teen fashion magazines." With a chuckle, she struck a pose. It was more akin to something a power ranger would do than a glamorous fashion model. "I am Junko Enoshima. And I am very excited to meet you, Harbinger of Ferocity.

What would you say to becoming my bondsmen?"

Junko was practically jumping into the air with excitement.

"I would love to be your slave! Is there a dungeon? Forced labor camp? And what happens if we refuse?" Junko turned to face the Harbinger of Ferocity "What an exciting turn of events! We're already going on an adventure!"

The school girl's head twitch momentarily before she gradually turned to face the voice. But the only thing she could see that might have spoken was this saber tooth. Could it maybe have some sort of collar with a speaker on it? Was it magical? Or perhaps she really was going crazy? the answers to these questions didn't matter. Junko had found something that interested her. And no one even died yet!

"Oh hoh! Did I say something out loud? I have a movie deal going on, so I rehearse every chance I get. And you spotted me! Boy that was embarrassing!" She giggled and tipped her head. In an instant, her eyes expanded into saucers. "Anyway wittle kitty cat. Do you have a pwitty wittle name I can call you by?" In the next instant, she squint her eyes. "It ain't Aslan is it?" She appeared to be impersonating Clint Eastwood. Did a cowboy hat just appear on her head? "I reckon you'd disappoint a fair number of children if it was."
