For real though, since this is not the JLU. I decided to go with a different approach. If you red the prequel comic to Man of Steel (at least I think that is what I am thinking about) then you can probably guess who my female superhero would be.

Rose Mary was busy trying to free herself from the truck when someone touched her. She broke free, she wasn't listening. She screamed. "Go away!" She continued to run, there was a cliff. She ran towards it and jumped still clutching the dead squirrel to her chest. She sprouted wings. She turned her head to look at them. They were the most beautiful thing she had seen in staring at her wings the squirrel slipped from her grasp and fell to the ocean below. She dived after it to catch it but she couldn't. The blood still coming from the squirrel corpse attracted a shark which proceeded to eat it. "NO! You'll pay for that." Her wings retracted and she plummeted to the ocean. She wasn't even thinking at this point beyond making that godless monster suffer. She ripped out its eyes with her bare metallic hands she tore at it's flesh never a killing blow. She was going to make it die from a series of wounds. When it tried to bite her its teeth broke on her metallic skin. Due to her skin being turned into metal they sank farther and farther the longer it dragged on. The shark's blood attracted more sharks which attacked the bleeding one. Rose Mary still driven by a need to kill these monsters attacked them as well she was more efficient with them.

With the sharks dead. She proceeded to walk back to shore. It never once dawned on her to turn her body's mass into something more float-able than metal. On the shore she collapsed to her knees, she tried to will the wings back. If she could summon the wings of an angel, at least that is that they looked like to her, then maybe God hadn't given up on her.

Just for giggles, what exactly would you have done had I not selected a handful of characters to alter myself for mentors? What if everything was open for reinterpretation and we got a new GL, a new Superman, etc? I only assumed an older Superman would effect a Galatea CS because of her connection to Supergirl. The last person I'd think would effect her CS would be John Stewart.

John Stewart was never involved in Galatea's CS, as you'll see. John Stewart was only mentioned earlier because he was the GL of the JL.

I had Galatea post Watchtower assault be abandoned by Cadmus, she wandered the stars. Eventually met Hal Jordan and eventually working with him on a mission. They teamed up on & off for years, on missions and sex. They claim they weren't romantically involved, but they most definitely were. She became a good gal adopted the name Power Girl from a poorly translated phrase from a girl she saved. Hal retired to Earth and on the long space cab ride home Hal spent the time trying to convince Galatea to attempt to make amends with the JL and to try and join them. He reminded her that Ganthet agreed to be a character witness for her mostly because he is just that nice (at least that is how I remember him from the various things I seen him in, I could be remembering him wrong) and because she was fundamental in helping him set up the BLC. Hal reminded her about some other stuff in regards to the league members. I made a joke, but from Hal's point of view it wasn't, about Batman probably or might be being dead and fighting as a spectre. The sample post ended with her flying off to find the Justice League.

What was not revealed is the only she left was because she couldn't sit there and watch him die of cancer or old age whichever came first. Also not revealed and might not have included anyway was that she was with child, not Hal's but an evil slimy monster with tentacles impregnated her. Just kidding it would have been Hal's if it came up.

Ultimately the only reason she became a good gal was boredom, needing some ass to kick, and the love of a good guy.

Just waiting @pyroman to have the ones in charge go investigating the explosion. Which I thought someone in the room that has posted already would have commented on or had their character think about. I mean it was an explosion on campus. Unless explosions are just that common. Bonny wouldn't know that it's her first day of classes.

@Silver Carrot There is always the explosion you can comment on, you can remark how annoying they are assuming they are a frequent occurrence, or you can mention how it is strange and frightening to hear one so close to the school.

Is making Superman older really gonna hamper a Galatea CS?

Superman's age has nothing to do with it. Why you thought that mattered is ridiculous based on what I said.

The CS I written depends on the show existing as is, the GLC (at least one particular member of it), and it not being some random universe that has absolutely nothing to do with the DCAU beyond the name.

Also Alan Scott sucks balls. He is weak against wood. He could be beaten by a random mugger if he used a stick.
