Why does it have to be just federal? Still got state tax payer money. Either way my tax money be it federal or state is being spent on shit that does not educate in any way in the education budget. It does the opposite, kids are given passing grades just so they can keep on playing, furthering the trope in real life of the dumb jock.

EDIT: Now that I actually took time to read it and not just make a stupid joke, it's interesting. Never done this type before because the last one I tried to do died in the interest check. Literally only Magical Girl experience I have is Sailor Moon and montrose.is/sgvy both of which I never finished. The former because Fox Kids cancelled it before they finished dubbing it and I never did bother to getting subs, did finish the Live Action one they did. The later is still on going but when I stopped reading it the updates were super sporadic I would not check for long periods of time and often have to go back at least a couple of updates or more just to catch up (updates being numerous pages at a time).

You don't go into teaching to make a lot of money, unless you can tutor rich kids maybe then.

From my experience people go into two teaching for one of two reasons.
1. They want to be teachers, they want to shape the next generation or whatever. (the good kind of teacher)
2. They couldn't hack it in their chosen degrees in college so they slid into the easy degree, education. (the kind of teacher that belongs at McDonalds or digging ditches or whatever menial labor job they can get)

I have only heard one of those types bitch about their pay. If it takes you more than one guess to figure it out, you were probably taught by the ones doing the bitching.

Giving the majority of school funding to guns makes about as much sense as giving the most funding to football oh wait

Sports should be funded strictly from their ticket sales. If the team can't support itself from ticket sales the team shouldn't exist. All that taxpayer money wasted on sports could more than make up for any budget shortfalls.

As for arming teachers, I have to pay for my guns they have to pay for their guns. If they want taxpayer money to cover the guns used on the job they can quit being teachers and become law enforcement.
