So I was just curious as to when this was going to officially start, because it seems like we have a lot of characters.

Personality

Mischievous at best, dangerous at worst; Gideon delights in causing mayhem for others, with no regard for the personal feelings or safety of his victims. Though Gideon has few friends- Scratch that, actually. Though Gideon has no friends, he’d probably be loyal to them. Maybe. Gideon also delights in hosting parties, which is essentially a get out of jail free card for the invitees. He’s never caused harm to another at one of his own events.

Abilities/Skills

Gideon has the ability to shapeshift into different animals and people at will, though he will rarely shift into anything larger than a german shepherd. This ability isn’t foolproof however. Any human he attempts to imitate will always have red irises. Gideon is also able to render himself entirely invisible for up to an hour at a time, requiring another period of one hour for the power to recharge before it can be used again. His third and arguably most dangerous ability is his affinity to fire, being able to manipulate the element at will whenever there is a source nearby. Other than that, he has enhanced speed and limited flight capabilities while in his true form.

Brief history/background

Gideon has gone by many names in his lengthy existence on Earth. His favorite happens to be “Jack the Ripper”. That really was quite a bit of fun. However, that was one of Gideon’s last murder stints, though he’s been known to kill occasionally despite that claim.

Mattias regarded Ashley carefully. If he wanted in on Soldier, now was going to be his best chance for who knew how long. He was silent for a long moment. "...Is there any way I can help out without signing up? I chafe under rules." There was more to it than that, but Mattias didn't exactly feel like explaining that to a complete stranger. "Yo, Sonja we're gonna need to get this guy to a hospital at some point ok?" The werewolf snorted. Why anyone would ever want to be a human is a complete mystery to me...

Personality:
Gideon claims that he’s simply a good natured prankster that happens to like alcohol and pulling tricks. In truth however, many of his antics are borderline malevolent to just straight up harmful. Gideon delights in the suffering of others… to a certain degree. He’s not one for murder but doesn’t see the problem with causing a little trouble now and again. Gideon also loves hosting parties, which is essentially a get out jail free card for the invitees. He’s never made caused harm to another at one of his own events.

Gideon can shapeshift into different animals no larger than a german shepherd as well as people at will. When disguising as people however, the irises are always red, and when in the form of an animal something always just seems slightly… off about the creature when scrutinized too closely. He also possesses the ability to go entirely invisible for up to an hour at a time, having to wait another hour for his energy to recharge. Other than that while in his true form he possesses enhanced speed and limited flight capabilities.
Weaknesses:
Though it is a little known secret, Gideon cannot resist the allure of alcohol, bacon, and a soft couch.
Brief history/background:
Gideon has travelled all over the world throughout the centuries driven by the single goal of making life difficult for the mortals. He’s since then wound up in London, a city perfect for the chaos Gideon is just waiting to unleash.

Mattias nodded gratefully and took a drag. "A name? Call me Mattias." The werewolf looked at Ashley. "I already know your name, but I'd appreciate it if you'd answer a question of mine." He took a drag of his cigarette, then proceeded without waiting for a response. "What's Soldier doing here? It's to investigate the rumors, right?" And then as an afterthought, "You want one?" Mattias dangled a pack of cigarettes between him and Ashley.

@Wraithblade6 How about.... I'll just agree OOC to not go uber god mode. The thing is, the enthralling thing is basically Cupid's only real power. Sure he's stronger than most vampires because he's real old and stuff but any of his peers could totally destroy him if his mental abilities aren't formidable. Of course I could always scrap this draft and come up with something knew too.

Mattias followed Ashley and Roman into the back of the van, his face grim. He needed to get the fuck away from Lupa and those vampires. That much power condensed in one place could only mean trouble. These Soldier agents could get him out of dodge, then he'd find some way to get back to the States. Mattias started to take another drag on his cigarette, but paused. "Anyone mind if I finish my smoke?"
