While Sans very easily dodged the attacks, Papyrus was hit multiple times. "SANS, THIS ISN'T WORKING!"

"UH... YOU KNOW, I HADN'T THOUGHT ABOUT THAT. LET'S DO A SPECIAL ATTACK!"
"didnt that dog take your special attack?"
"OH, RIGHT. LET'S DO AN AWESOME NORMAL ATTACK! ... AGAIN."
And then they do an awesome normal attack that's almost exactly the same as the one before, albeit a lot more intense. In fact, Sans even starts switching Kim between blue and red mode at random intervals.

Man, this is turning out t-to be the worst day ever..." He places his hand on his forehead, bringing it up and slick his hair back until he reaches his back, at which point his hair pops back into it's proper position.
