Walter Dreiberg, or Rorschach, walked up to the school. He held a schedule in his hand, double-checking his classes. Yep, he should have gym about now. He remembers how hectic the morning was. Walter had just woken up, and got dressed into his costume, when his parents received a call about the attack. So, thankfully, he got to stay home for half of the day.

And this led to him sleeping. And the sleeping led to oversleeping. And oversleeping led to now, being late to gym class on his first day. Folding the schedule and stuffing it into his pocket, Walter broke into a sprint, trying to get to class as fast as possible. Hopefully the teacher won't notice he's late. Hopefully.

With that, Walter slipped into the gym, seeing people already doing their activities. He saw no sign of the teacher, so hopefully he could just slip into a random group. He saw a group of three people, with a guy with black hair, a guy with white hair, and a... Girl? 'Yeah, that... It... She... Seems like a girl,' Walter thought to himself. Okay, yeah, a girl with blue hair. He also noticed the black haired guy had a cast around his ankle.

Slipping into the group, Walter said: "Hey there. Hopefully I'm not late, but if I am, can you guys hide me from the teacher? Oh, the name's Walter by the way, but my hero name is Rorschach. Just go with whatever floats your boat."

So, uh... Do I just post? I mean, I might need a bit of an explanation of what's going on first, though.

Walter Dreiberg

Name: Walter Dreiberg
Alias: Rorschach II (just goes by Rorschach, of course)
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Parents: Daniel Dreiberg (Nite Owl II) and Laurie Juspeczyk, later Dreiberg (Silk Spectre II)
Powers and abilities: Genius level intellect, enhanced speed and agility (though nowhere near superspeed), enhanced strength (nowhere near super strength), and some skill as an acrobat. Also has a grappling gun.
Personality: Walter is pretty much the opposite of the original Rorschach in terms of personality. He's very upbeat, happy and energetic, in contrast to the original Rorschach's cynical broody behavior. Walter also doesn't share Rorschach's views on good and evil, believing that there is no good nor evil, only darker and lighter shades of grey (he obviously believes he's on the lighter shade of grey).
Frequently says 'hrm', as a verbal tic. Smoked cigarettes when he was 18 and 19, but recently quit and chews on toothpicks as a fixation. Enjoys the music of Bob Dylan (Desolation Row being his favorite song) and Paul Simon (You Can Call Me Al being a close second to Desolation Row). Also likes to crack jokes and start deep, serious conversations about everyday things, a la Seinfeld.
Bio: Walter Dreiberg was born several years after Doctor Manhattan's exile, Adrian Veidt's plan for world peace (involving the destruction of New York and, for some reason, a giant squid), and the original Rorschach's death. He was named Walter, after the original Rorschach who was a friend and partner of his father.
His father, Daniel Dreiberg or the second Nite Owl, trained Walter to use his natural abilities for crimefighting, and also trained him in the use of gadgetry, such as the aforementioned grappling gun. This was all in the hopes that Walter would succeed Daniel as the third Nite Owl, though Walter ultimately decided he wanted to succeed Walter Kovacs as the second Rorschach.
Daniel, figuring it would be cruel to force a mantle onto his son that he didn't want, allowed Walter to become the second Rorschach, but on one condition: he'd go to the Academy rather than just start a crimefighting career off the bat. So, that's what Walter did, and here he is now.

Stands at 5'7 (in his costume, he stands at 5'11, due to wearing elevator shoes), and weighs in at 179 pounds (OF MUSCLE!). Oh, and if you can name the person in this gif off the top of your head, I love you.

Walter's costume consists of this mask (the inkblots move on their own, usually recreating Walter's current facial expression), a brown newsboy cap, a brown leather jacket, dark blue pinstripe pants, and black elevator shoes.

Oooh, I like the sound of this. A question, though: can my character be related to a character from Watchmen? Because, while a DC franchise and universe, it isn't a part of the main continuity (with the exception of Doctor Manhattan, who was integrated during DC Rebirth as a villain and the in-universe cause of the New 52 reboot) and I just want to be sure it's allowed.

Six, still planning his escape from the complex while sitting in a chair, jumps and falls out of his chair after hearing Yagamine's scream, hitting his head. "AGH! JESUS FUGGIN' ARGH!" Still clutching his head, he picks himself up. "That must be the alarm clock... Man, the Landowner really outdid herself with it; it sounded like an actual person screaming in rage, agony, or both!"

Well, he figured he'd better start checking on the neighbors, make himself inconspicuous. That, and maybe he could meet someone to escape with him. With a sigh, he walks out the door, and looks left and right. He sees two people standing outside a room, one of those cat ear and tail people, the male one he presumes, and the girl who was interested in aliens. Ooh, he could start there!

Walking towards the two, Six says: "Hello! I'm your neighbor, though I think both of you saw me outside. I'm Number Six. What're your numbers?"
