Important Notice:

Since things seem to be getting rather full and are still active, I'll only be accepting maybe a couple or more sign ups at the very most as I start writing up the OP. Doesn't mean I will stop accepting sign-ups, it just means I wont be accepting anymore initially just so that the ball gets rolling for people.

For the most part, everyone will be split up into random small groups unless you all would like to be summoned with someone in particular and I have given the A-Okay. Maximum number per group will be THREE, unless specific events call for more per groups.

Make sure to go ahead and post your character in the Characters tab if it has already been accepted, and to let me know if there is anyone you guys would like to get paired off with.

Personality: Joel hasn't had much interaction with other people, so he can be socially awkward. His insecurity about his inability to converse with other people as easily as he should be tends to make him hesitate or freeze up. Despite this, he desperately wants to be around other people. Because of this, many write him off as a coward, however he is anything but. Thanks to the words of his brother, his flight or fight response has been permanently changed into a flight or be-badass one. He seems to change completely in a fight, gaining an almost zealous belief in himself and using really ridiculous yet somehow inspiring metaphors.
Background/History: You'd that that hard child labor would be illegal in Britain, well..it is. It's just that some people don't really care about silly things like the law or ethics. Young Joel and his older brother were sold into slavery to work in a coal mine. As horrible and nightmarish as it was, his brother somehow was able to keep up the spirits of everyone around him with words alone. Always so confident with machismo instead of blood in his veins, Joel's older brother gave the poor mine working children hope. That is, until he died, sacrificing himself to save Joel from a cave in. After that, everything went to hell. Joel's brother was a beacon of light and hope in the dark mines, and all the children there blamed Joel for the death of his brother...and eventually, he started to agree with them. In Aurora, he has finally escaped from the coal mines, and it is here where he hopes to find his place in the world.
Goal/Desires: To find a family of his own.
Powers: Fusion; Joel has the ability to fuse objects to himself. The end result can take whatever form he want's it to, so long as it isn't smaller then himself (ie, he can't use this ability to shrink himself). While Fusion with living things is possible, it's risky; as their will can overcome or hinder him. All Fusions are temporary and easily reversible.
--Special Fusion (to be unlocked); Not a separate ability, but the ultimate application of his Fusion power. With this, he is able to Fuse with another sentient being. The end result has the combined power of both Joel, and the other member of the Fusion. Unlike normal Fusion, this kind has a limit; and he is only able to Fuse with one person at a time. Because both have equal control over the body, it become's useless if they aren't working together. Also, since the other person will have access to his Fusion power, they can cancel the Fusion at will just as easily as Joel
Body Alteration (To be unlocked); An offshoot of Fusion. This ability allows Joel to absorb object to alter his body. Unlike Fusion, the absorbed object doesn't become one with him. Rather he gains the ability to grow said object on his body, wherever he wants. Even altering the shape and size in some cases.
Equipment/Inventory: A simple handheld crank drill from his time in the mines.
