Its mainly my fault for mentioning Naval Intelligence too much in the first two IC posts but yeah. For the record NI is the equivalent of the NSA before they got bust wide open by Snowden. Known about mainly by military high ups and conspiracy theorists. If we could continue the roleplay with that in mind that'd be brilliant as we can slowly learn about the motive of NI as the RP goes on.

Sure, ill bite, since he is generally bouncing or half drunk inside a bar, what would be a good way to get him involved with the main storyline here lol.

There's something coming up which we're hoping will bring everybody together aboard the Scythian, at least temporarily. If Sammael is bouncing at a small bar in the spaceport colony then there is plenty of opportunity to interact with the desperate and increasingly angry populace. Many of them will be wanting a drink, but the whole place is busy and there are no wide open spaces to dissipate this energy. If its in a central location then i'm sure some other RPers will be interested in chilling out for a little bit.

Just added a tab for The Scythian on the OP. Its unfinished as of yet but should be completed shortly!

@Catharyn@Ozymandias I'm actually planning for Mel and Ro to brake off pursuit, but I might change my mind depending on what you guys come up with I do actually want them to just get situated and negotiate some sort of permanent employment

Okay, well Loken and Clara will be heading off to the science station to check out the excavation site. Clara doesn't actually handle day to day running of the colony so you'll want to talk to either chief of security (controlled by @starlance and currently watching the food line disintegrate into a restless mob) or the colony director who is in his office and guarded by agents Black and White.

@drallinix I've read the Verox over and i agree with @Ozymandias; its a good species and it's accepted by me but i have one small request to make. Could we please expand the line: 'All resemble the wolves of earth' with more detail? By that i mean more of what makes them different from wolves apart from being larger and having opposable thumbs. I want you to really paint a picture of how they look, primarily because its an evolutionary impossibility that they look exactly the same as Earth Wolves. Apart from that all the civ stuff is accepted, let me know if you have any questions

Good IC posts, guys. Just be aware for future reference of characters knowing too much about the Naval Intelligence characters. Technically they don't exist, no one knows about them, so be aware of being too omniscient

Approaching the Guild's 10 year anniversary

Yikes, i've been here on and off for over six years! I can scarcely believe how much time has past and how much has happened since i first made my account in Feb 2011. When i first started, i was working part-time at a little shop called The Wine Stand that sold spirits and wines etc, a glorified off-license really. Now i'm fortunate enough to have landed my dream job in marketing but things weren't always looking so good. Particularly in the beginning, i struggled every day with insecurity and doubt in myself. I believed that i couldn't ever get what i wanted because that wasn't how life worked.

I think, in some small (or maybe a large, depending on how much i underestimate the power of this place) way, the Guild helped me to gain confidence in my abilities and lead a better life. I've made a few life-long friends here, and my writing has gotten soooo much more consistent too! So i know this isn't really a creative piece, more of a testimonial, but i want to thank Mahz and the team for keeping the Guild running (apart from Guildfall, which made me lose my post count ) and to every single person i've met and roleplayed with over the years. It's been real, and i hope to still be roleplaying here in another six years time
