Hey! I'm Rae, a 26 year old rp'er with about 12 years of RP experience. As such, I will only rp with those that are 20 years or older. I'm an rp'er who really prioritises detail, depth and dimension. As you'd expect, I'm looking for a partner with a similar writing approach, who is willing to match effort and the same ballpark length (typically around 4 paragraphs). In terms of reply speed, a minimum of one reply per day is typically what I strive for. But, we all have real life commitments, and I'll always give notice if you can expect a delay in my replying. I also highly encourage ooc chatting! My best rp's are always the ones that involve us discussing the plot and sharing ideas. That being said, please share your ideas with me! Team work makes the dream work, and having an open line of communication ensures we're both on the same page and enjoying the experience as much as possible <3

NOW..............

For this rp, I'd like to lead with the Netflix series interpretation of the arcs, character designs, and personalities, just for a fresh spin on the story - but I'm more than happy to blend specific elements from the anime/manga in as we please! The ideas I've placed below for each pairing are just suggestions, and can be considered interchangeable! I'm open to so much plot-wise, so if this catches your eye, please don't hesitate to reach out with some of your own ideas.

A few ideas I've been toying with are;

Vivi x Zoro: His eyebrow raise and smile when she called him Mr. Bushido? Him calling her dummy? Come on. Maybe Vivi's cover isn't blown so soon, and they clash. Maybe the crew hang around a while in Alabasta after Crocodile's defeat. Maybe we skip forward majorly by years, and what brings the Straw Hats back to Alabasta is the announcement of Princess Vivi's (politically-motivated) wedding.

Vivi x Smoker: There's a lot we could get into with these two during the Alabasta arc, but I'd also be down to explore and tweak earlier events, seeing as I love a good enemies to lovers dynamic. Again, Vivi could stay undercover for longer here, and is incidentally hunted by Smoker along with the rest of Baroque Works.

Vivi x Luffy: Them in Episode 4 is all I need to say. I'd love to write Vivi against our fearlessly incompetent Captain; the only element that makes me hesitate is I'm not the biggest fan of the 'ridiculously and painfully oblivious to romance' trope... Which is basically Luffy in a nutshell. These two have a lot of potential worth exploring, it'd just take a very particular approach, i.e. Vivi's denial in favour of focusing on Alabasta, and Luffy's own obliviousness to his feelings (within reason) that would ultimately make for a slightly more mature slow-burn between them to suit their aged-up characters in the LA. So yeah! Very happy to talk shop if you're open to that angle.

At this stage, I'd prefer to write for Vivi.

˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ The Untamed/MDZS RP Interest Check

Now, for the RP search itself: Basically, I cannot stop thinking about Wen Qing and Jiang Cheng since watching the series, because the direction that the live action took with their relationship was so beautifully tragic. I'm looking to do just about anything involving this pairing (either in an AU or in the canon universe) but will drop some plot bunnies below to get the muse flowing and hopefully peak some interest!

At this stage, I'd prefer to write for Wen Qing.

Saving Grace: At the eleventh hour, Jiang Cheng manages to spare Wen Qing from the Wen execution at Jinlintai by providing her sanctuary at Lotus Pier. Only Wen Qing. This plot would be heavy on the angst/conflict at first, given Wen Qing's reaction to discovering she was the only Wen spared, and the growing pains that would ensue between them.

Haunting Me: Taking place in amongst the thirteen years following Wei Wuxian's demise, where on a night hunt, Jiang Cheng and his disciples encounter Wen Qing in the forest. And so ensues the tumultuous string of events triggered by Jiang Cheng staring into the sullied face of a woman he believed to be dead.

In Another Life: Because I just can't resist throwing a good reincarnation AU in. Working as a doctor in the modern era, Wen Qing is assigned her latest patient; a young man involved in a motorcycle crash. Yet something about him is so startlingly, unwelcomingly familiar...

Regency/Bridgerton-inspired AU: Introducing Marquess Jiang Cheng, heir to the powerful Yunmeng Jiang family. And the Lady Wen Qing, first daughter of the infamous Wen family, who possess a dark history and tainted reputation. This AU would mirror a lot of the socio-political dynamics we see at play in TU, but with lowered stakes, and more of an emphasis on the deliciously scandalous drama of it all. Whispers, rumours, secrets, affairs, trysts. How is the hot-headed Marquess to navigate such an arduous path, when his duty, honour, and family legacy is tugging him in one direction, but his heart in another?

NOW..............

Do not get me wrong, I have SO much love for Tsireya and Lo'ak's romance. But the original script saying that Lo'ak and Neteyam thought Tsireya was the most beautiful creature they've ever seen, and Neteyam originally having made matching bracelets for himself and Tsireya... a part of me can't help wondering what these two could've had together. So I'd just love to write some Neteyam x Tsireya!

At this stage, I'd prefer to write for Tsireya.

NOTE: This does NOT need to be a full-blown love triangle situation, we can definitely change things around that Lo'ak is more preoccupied with Payakan and/or finding himself than getting close to Tsireya. But I still see these two being something of a slow-burn because of Neteyam's hesitation and inner conflict.

A few ideas I've been toying with are;

- Role reversal AU! What if Varang's clan posed a dire threat to Tonowari's family, to the point where he, Ronal, Aonung and Tsireya were forced to leave and ask uturu from Jake Sully, Olo'eyktan of the Omatikaya clan? I just think it'd be so sweet to see Neteyam try to teach Tsireya the ways of the forest and explore their bond in a different setting, with the dynamic slightly reversed.

- When Lo'ak first leaves and bonds with Payakan, the reason Neteyam didn't know he was missing was because he was spending time with Tsireya. Maybe he's still trying to keep a bit of distance between them because he can tell Lo'ak is also interested, but what happens when the heart grows fonder?

- Keeping with canon events, Neteyam still dies. Tsireya visits him in the Spirit World, on occasion at first, then more and more frequently. This plot leans more into tragic themes, seeing as they're still technically in two different worlds. But it would be so heart-achingly sweet to see Neteyam guide Tsireya through his memories (showing her his forest!) and love blooming between them, even when separated by life and death.

- A humanised version of the characters (so with IRL face-claims rather than their Na'vi forms) following their lives on Earth.

- And of course, the obligatory 'What if Neteyam survived his injury?' AU. Tsireya and Ronal nurse him back to health, and feelings develop from there.
