I finally got around to watching A Silent Voice. Very nice to see some deaf culture representation in anime.

@Minimum That's what I assumed. Thank you for clarifying.
I might make another character, but I'm not too sure yet. If I am, I'll do it sometime today.
I was studying to become a teacher earlier this year (Primary school, not High School). I decided to change my degree to a Game Design course because I'm young and I've always wanted to try something like this (When this course is over I'll probably go back to teaching).

At the moment I'm comfortable with just being an Education Aid (teacher assistant). I work with special needs children so the teachers I'm with are obviously all very qualified to handle working with difficult students. Because of this I've kind of gained an understanding of just how much work being a teacher is and how you need to be very flexible and bend to your student's needs.

Now the problem I have with a lot of highschool teachers; they weren't really trained to do this. A lot of teachers for secondary school, while they are quite knowledgeable in their field, did not go through the entirety of the Bachelor of Education. All they had to do was complete a one year Post-Graduate course after they finished studying their field and boom their a teacher.

I've always disliked this because that one year isn't enough to really learn how to properly teach a class imo. They don't learn how to adjust their teaching style and make use of different resources to help EVERY student and because of this I've often found A LOT of high school teachers to not be very good. They're excellent in their field, but they lack the proper knowledge on how to teach it to others. A lot of them are good people, don't get me wrong, but they're not really good teachers.

Sorry for ranting. I've just had a decent amount of experience working with schools and these are just some things that I've picked up and/or discussed with other teachers/aids
I suppose I should stop being lazy and wake from this eternal slumber
@Burthstone I guess it's a good thing I didn't write up her magic then.
I can't actually be bothered finishing these right now, so this is what I've got.

Pieces are missing and I haven't even finished Vera's magic yet. Also, Vera is Bullet's sister (Nico Arc is Bullet's actual name). In Nico's biography it explains that his father was a crazy douche who experimented on his children. He turned Vera into a monster that lived in pain and suffering, so when Bullet killed his pops he ended her life as well to put her out of her pain.

I haven't written her biography yet, but Vera's story obviously didn't end there.

I should probably say something about Axis. Uh. He's a dashing, handsome stallion. He's also very tol.

Every morning I lay in bed feeling like I need a couple more hours of sleep. So I sit there staring at my phone on the desk praying that work won't call me in.
@Silver Fox Yeah after these two I don't think I'll be able to handle anymore. They're coming along slowly because I'm a lazy person.
