@Lunarlors34 I do vaguely remember this. We had to take a few units in Occupational Health and Safety when I was studying to be a teacher's assistant.

It was quite an informative class. Our lecturer was a grumpy old nurse though.

I always hear my lower back. Ice never works for me. And the muscle relaxers are just awesome

I've trying to train myself to squat whenever I have to pick something up. Working with kids, everything is so close to the ground so I have to do a lot of bending over to pick up shit. That's really awful for my back so I've been attempting to squat with everything I do involving being close to the floor.
@Caits *Huggle* I'd be happy to have you GM this with me~
@Lunarlors34 We'd basically discuss the chapters as they play out and how we want to go about them. I have an idea for the story, but nothing is set in stone as I'd like to discuss everything with my GM's as well as tweak the story to suit the roleplayers.

You'd also be allowed to accept characters and have the final say in any dispute.
@Grim327 Thank you for your interest! I hope we can form an unforgettable story together!

EDIT: That would be very helpful, indeed Lunar! Thank you :D
@Caits Boop

I wrote up the int check if ur interested in reading it. Please forgive the shameless promotion though.

Chapter 1 | A New Horizon

"Men, by nature, are curious beings. So much so that we would forsake everything we ever knew, for even the slightest glimpse at what’s beyond the horizon. We seek an understanding of our existence; the truth..." Anonymous, 24 Cycles after The Silence.

The new world of Eden is quickly approaching it's turnover to a new century, and humanity is slowly starting to recover from the cataclysmic event that changed the world three hundred years ago. The Silence, as it's known, transformed the world into a strange, desolate place filled with unique creatures and environments. Humanity barely managed to cling to life. They lost their homes, their families and their cultures. From the remnants of their fallen societies, a new hope arose among the remaining members of humanity. It is not known why, but the humans were quick to embrace Eden. Despite the circumstances they found themselves in, people were happy. They saw The Silence not as the end, but a new beginning. They slowly started to rebuild their societies, and although mankind's evolution was sent back to a more primal time; the knowledge of those who lived before The Silence combined with humanities unbridled desire for change has caused the human societies to once again rise above the other species even in a few short centuries.

The Anshar tribe is one such human society, situated in a place named the Dreamscape. The Dreamscape is a large desert, spanning thousands of miles from one ocean to the other. There are a handful of small oasis' situated within the Dreamscape where many small tribes reside. The Ansharin Oasis is where our story begins. Strong willed and resourceful, the Ansharin's are trained young to hunt and survive in The Dreamscape. Most are content with their peaceful lives, but there are some among the new generation who yearn for something different. They want to explore beyond the Dreamscape, see the rest of Eden. Their curiosity is frowned upon by their elders, as the histories inform us that it was mankind's curiosity that brought The Silence.

One day, a young Ansharin finds an old weathered journal from a time before The Silence. Will you be able to resist the temptation? Can you truly live in stagnancy? Or will you let your thirst control you, even though you fear it may change the world yet again?

Greetings! My name is Leslie! (It's not really, but on here that's what I go by!). This is an idea that's been floating around my head for a bit, inspired by the world of Dark Souls as well as a few other things (The setting is actually inspired by the game Journey). So first thing is first, I am currently looking for 1-2 more people to GM this with me. I don't think I can run this roleplay by myself, so if no one is willing then I'm not too sure if I should go through with this.

So the basic premise for this roleplay is that our characters all belong to the Anshar tribe of the Dreamscape. The theme is very tribal, and as such our characters would reflect that with their mannerisms, attire and skills. Then one day, a strange journal is discovered by one of our characters. Even though the tribe elders decide that it should be thrown back into the desert where it was found; our characters don't want to pass up the opportunity to learn more about the world before The Silence.

So our adventure would start from there! I'm hoping to gather a small group of maybe 6 people (not including myself). Our characters would know each other pretty well, so we can discuss prior relationships. But the focus of this roleplay is mostly developing those relationships through our journey as well as discovering the secrets of our world.

So with that being said. Thank you for reading this and I hope you're willing to help me make this whole thing possible! I left a lot of details out so if you have questions, please ask me!
So I actually have an idea. It's by no means unique. I was about to start writing it and then I realised I need a name for my fantasy world.

I'm so bad with names. Like for real. It's probably gonna end up being called "World #1356235"
I have this odd desire to create a roleplay based off of an original idea.

The problem is I'm not good at original ideas (just look at my characters lol).

I'm also lazy and would probably be an awful GM. I think I tried GMing a Dark Souls roleplay a while back and then my life crumbled and I crumbled with it (as did the roleplay).

I'm an awful person ^^
