Phoenix Wing (A Fairy Tail RP-Always Open, Open)

@Silver Fox I liked Gurren Lagann... but I don't know why. By all accounts, it's kind of dumb (it's also not a very good show). However I wouldn't say it's a bad show, because in my eyes bad does not mean the absence of good. There are plenty of bad shows out there that I love. And that I can't explain WHY I love them. Like back in high school I used to really like Lucky Star. And Lucky Star is like the epitome of shitty slice of life anime, but I loved it. And I feel so embarrassed when I tell people I loved it.

I've never liked Adventure Time. But in all honesty, Steven Universe is probably one of my favorite cartoons right now. I vastly prefer it over many animes or real tv shows.

@Lunarlors34 As much as I like the Fairy Tail universe (I mean, it's the perfect base for a roleplay tbh), I'm very take it or leave it with the show itself. Like I mean, I guess I kind of liked the characters but I never grew attached to them. Not to mention there's quite a bit of obvious fanservice in it (Like I'm pretty sure Lucy and Erza's breasts should be causing them permanent back pain).

I like moments in Fairy Tail, but my opinion of the show as a whole is kind of just "Meh..."

@Silver Fox Wolf's Rain is a good length for me. Or maybe I'm just biased because I absolutely love Wolf's Rain. Cowboy Bebop is also amazing. I used to own a box set of it but I think my best friend borrowed it and then lost it when he moved houses.

Soul Eater was also pretty long. I liked Soul Eater when I was 15. I don't think I'd like it now, but it was good at that time.

Idk I'm fickle when I come to anime. I also tend to be a bit of a harsh critic. Like even to things I enjoy. I enjoy them, but then I go and point out their flaws and reasons as to why they aren't great shows. I'm the funnest person at parties.

Yeah the only long running anime I ever watched was Naruto because I was a child and I knew no better. I just don't like the over-long shonen stuff. Like I got 30 episodes into Bleach, and then basically decided that it should have ended there and stopped watching.

I haven't tackled One Piece because I imagine my reaction will be the same.

Okay, just letting all of you guys know now. I intend to write the IC Thursday. I know some of you haven't finished your characters yet, so please don't interpret this as me rushing you. I'm only doing this because I've got a large event on this weekend that I'm hosting so I need Friday and Saturday to complete final preparations, and then like half of Sunday to clean up the house. Rather than keep you guys waiting for me to write up the IC on Sunday, I'd rather do it earlier.

I'll still be available to accept any characters though, so don't worry about that. And even if I wasn't, the lovely Caits and Lunar would be more than capable of accepting your characters. So don't feel rushed by my decision.

However, with that being said. @Thewhitewolf and @Jay Kalton, are you two still keen on participating? I haven't heard from either of you since the Interest Check. I completely understand if you've been busy, so again, please don't feel like I'm rushing you. I'd just like to know where you both stand at the moment, because if you've lost interest I'd like to know so I can inform the others who wanted a spot but were just a tad too late.

I think the best part about these battles with the mysterious deadly people is that I don't have to respond to anyone so there is no looming pressure over everything that I do in everyday life, telling me to post.
