Phoenix Wing (A Fairy Tail RP-Always Open, Open)

I've somehow managed to avoid watching a single episode of One Piece. People keep telling me "Watch it and you'll understand :D"

They don't get it. I'm not physically ready to understand. I'm not ready to be involved in something that long. I can't really say for certain because I haven't seen it, but long animes tend to be horrifically drawn out and repetitive and I ain't about that. (It's pretty much the reason why I stopped watching Fairy Tail).

One Piece does seem a lot more quirky than other Shonen anime though; and I do enjoy quirky stuff so idk. But still. WAY too long for me to be interested in watching it.

talking about coffee reminded me of Muffin Break. Now I want one of their Chai Latte's. I really like the Muffin Break I go to because they don't hire teenagers. They hire people that actually care about making coffee (not implying that teenagers can't be competent baristas, just saying that from my experiences at places like Gloria Jeans and Aroma; teenagers make shit coffee)

I'm also thinking of re-designing Vera's Barrier Magic with more functionality and versatility. As useful as illusions can be, the biggest weakness Vera has is that once someone finds out that she can use Illusions, they're not gonna fall for them anymore. That's why she has to be clever about how she uses them, to create images that a real enough to believe but still give her an edge (Hence why her main illusion is just a clone of herself that seemingly dodges everything perfectly). So I was considering that she may need an additional strength. So I'm thinking of removing any offensive capabilities whatsoever and just replacing it with direct, honest defense.

Part of me was also playing around with the idea of giving her something akin to Dark Seer's ultimate from Dota 2 but upon double-thinking it I realised that would kind of be broken as all hell so I'm not doing that.

Early Morning | The Ansharin Oasis

Even in the early morning, the desert soil was already scorching hot. If Kwenda hadn't spent his entire life walking back and forth across these lands, then his feet would probably be burning from the red soil. His feet flew across the plains, excitement carrying him with the wind. Anyone that didn't know him would swear that he was running for his life. It had only taken about twenty minutes of running to reach the oasis from the plains. He held the leather journal firmly in his hand, wanting to show the small hunting group that seemed to be preparing to leave the village. With one final running leap, Kwenda landed with a slight slide in front of Abigale, Yel'Shadar and Adoni. The former two were hunters, and fairly talented ones at that. Yel was only a couple years older than Kwenda, but standing next to him made him feel like a little kid. He definitely related more to Adoni, who was a very unique individual.
"Good morning!" Kwenda spoke cheerfully, clutching the journal to his chest with a look of excitement. "Check out what I've found! It's a weird, leather pouch thing. It's filled with thin, white sheets. Maybe it's some form of hide?" Before he could continue, Durabu and Kuparr joined the group. Seeing Kuparr, Kwenda instantly hid the journal behind his back. Although he'd already seen it.

"Oh! Hello! I just found a thing. I was gonna give it to the elders. Honest!" Kwenda started babbling, trying to explain himself. He knew that Kuparr held a great deal of respect and admiration for the elders. They all did, to an extent. Yet he knew that Kuparr wouldn't take too kindly to him hoarding a discovered treasure instead of showing it to the elders first. "I wasn't trying to hide it! I just figured that it looked pretty old. Maybe even older than the Silence. You know what the elders are like. They burn anything from before then without a second thought. I just wanted a chance to have a look at it before that, you know?" As he spoke, Kwenda inched closer and closer to Durabu. The gentle giant's presence made him feel less uneasy. His thoughts drifted back to the peculiar journal. He couldn't understand what was inside it. The elders supposedly knew how to understand bits and pieces of the scripts before the Silence, but they would never share their findings with the others. They were just doing it to protect the tribe; but what harm could a piece of leather bring?

Welp, I'm done with work for today and can work on another post!

Before I do though, let me just say that even despite the limitations I placed on character creation, you've all managed to create a diverse group of individuals to embark on this journey. It's going to be quite a pleasant adventure with all of them along.

Also, @insatiable are you still interested in making a character? It's been a while since I've heard from you and I'm intending to advertise for our available spot on the Int Check. Just wanted to know if I have to advertise for 2 slots instead of 1.
