Moe can create portals within her vison, unless she can easily and accurately visualize an area she wishes to create the portal. Psychometry is the ability to learn things from direct touch. For the most part, Moe sees images or feels the same emotion that the item or person has experienced within the past few minutes has also seen. In the case of sentient beings, she can also see or know things they are thinking about, but this takes concentration on both hers and her subject's part. Her power is stronger when dealing with other people rather than objects, meaning every touch from another human causes her to see or learn something, whereas it happens half the time with items. Appearance: reaching a total height of 4"6, Moe is tiny in all senses of the word.History: Born to the most regular family in the neighbourhood, Moe's life was chaos. Spending the first eighteen years of her life in a house of five older brothers and her father located in a tiny town of exactly 83 people in the Australian outback, it wasn't hard to fit in with the locals. Even so, from a young age, Moe was viewed as odd and even scary to some with her seemingly large knowlage. Some of the other kids even accused her of witchcraft at one point. This being so, the young mutant build defense mechanisms to end the isolation. Cloth, while hampering the effects of her powers, didn't stop them, but she'd take anything she could get, wearing long sleeves and fingerless gloves. She also developed a perpetual unfocused attitude, lessening how much she actually picked up from things and people. She also developed space issues, creating more space than usual between her and others. There is a good foot or two between her and whomever else. Her teleportation power didn't manifest until she was eighteen, when the kids from the town once again accused her of witchcraft, but this time it went farther than ever, and ended with Moe cornered. In her fear and anxiety, she unknowingly created a portal underneath her, tossing her into her room. With the help of her brothers, Moe was on a plane to America within the next twelve hours. Now 21, Moe lives peacefully, if alone, in her own apartment, working from home as a web designer. With delivered groceries and no connections other than her brothers back in Australia, Moe never leaves her apartment and sees a total of one, at most three people a week. Over the years, she's practised her powers, and has now cut her learning from objects in half, and can create portals with barely a second thought, using them to be lazy and reach things across the room. Personality : Moe is in a constant state of unfocused, only to become hyper focused on something, usually something small and unimportant. when she's pushed hard enough, Moe will do everything in her power to give what she believes to be the proper justice, wheather that is learning about them with her powers and humiliating them, or flat out punching them in the face. Beyond that, she's energetic and to be frank, kind of ignorant. She's blunt when it comes to facts, and some have called her too honest and insensitive. Equipment: fingerless gloves, to damper her learnings.

I know my latest post regarding Karela is a bit...odd. But I was hoping to have her meet Lady Kaede or someone from one of the native Konoha clans. I had an idea that she might be able to join a new clan once this battle is over so she can start getting over her rage issues.

“Don’t worry about me, I’ll be okay. Just help the others!”

Dren shook his head. I"m sorry Lady Kaede, but I won't leave you. I screwed up big time last time when they attacked the village because I wasn't here. I failed my village, my clan and myself. Right now, your life is much more important than mine and by now at least a few of them must have noticed you and may already be on their way. As a member of the Hyuga clan, it's my duty to protect you."

Dren continued monitoring the surrounding area with his Byakugan, making sure that if anyone did approach, he would be able to spot them and warn Lady Kaede in time.

“Hey, BITCH! EAT THIS!”

Karela had just managed to finish off another two solders but she was in a bit of trouble already. A spear had slammed into her right arm a short time earlier, rendering it nearly useless. Her left hand was gripping a handful of Kunai knives. She looked up sharply and one of her three remaining shadow clones jumped up in the air and slammed into the solder who had thrown the kunai at her.

The kunai slammed into the ground and her eyes widened as she saw exploding tags attached to the kunai knives. The exploding tags detonated a moment later in a large explosion that sent her flying through the air.

She landed on the ground in a heap.

She tried to get back to her feet only to see that her legs were blackened and burned by the explosion. Her arms were covered in burns as was a good portion of her face. She looked up at one of the few remaining solders with a hate filled glare. "Go ahead. Kill me. Make the Yatoma clan extinct.

The solders grinned and began surrounding her.

And we've got enough people as it is. Plus, you could have joined back when we were starting out instead of jumping in right now. Sorry, but I've got to say no.

Karela let the fury she had been feeling since the night of the massacre empower her as she rushed towards the barracks and grabbed a handful of Kunai in each hand and proceeded to target her opponents one by one. The first one to die was a large Imperial solder who had quickly found himself stabbed through the chest with a handful of Kunai knives which unfortunately for her, brought her to the attention of a large group of solders who proceeded to surround her.

Karela could hear the sounds of battle all around her and she reveled in it as she dodged a few clumsy strikes from one of the solders while the more experienced ones backed up a bit and began attempting to strike her with her spears. She grinned savagely. "I bet a few of you helped wipe out my clan back in the day." She laughed. "Word of advice, if you wipe out a clan, make sure you take care of everyone. The people who survive that sort of thing are bound to be pissed."

She made a series of hand signs as she jumped up into the air away from the spears for a brief moment. "Multi-Shadow clone Jutsu!" She shouted as five clones appeared in puffs of smoke.

Dren Hyuga watched the battle through his Byakugan. He was careful to keep a close eye out for anyone who was in trouble and might need assistance but the main objective he was focusing on was making sure that Lady Kaede was safe. Sure, she had an escort but it was better safe than sorry. And if anything happened to her he would never be able to forgive himself for letting harm come to the Heir of the main family.

He focused his Byakugan back on the battle for a swift second and saw the woman he had seen earlier in the day attacking solders with a ferocity that quite frankly shocked him and made him a bit nervous. He watched as she jumped up into the air and made a series of hand signs and five shadow clones appeared around her.

Better keep an eye on that one. He thought as he turned his attention back to Lady Kaede and continued monitoring her.

As Jax continued to enjoy his sandwich he once again closed his eyes and enjoyed the taste of the sandwich. He had glanced out the window a few moments ago and for some reason, he felt that something was off. He saw people all over Duskfall and not one of them bothered him in the slightest except the woman he had seen outside the cafe window earlier. As far as he could tell, she was enjoying a cold coffee and reading some sort of magazine which was nothing to worry about. Yet something about her continued to bother him.

He opened his eyes and took a quick look at her and as far as he could tell...she was normal. It was when his eyes were drawn to the slight movement in her hair that Jax's curiosity got the better of him as he took a closer look.

Her hair was moving. Yet there was no wind. It wasn't enough to alert everyone but still, it was pretty unusual.

Jax got up and paid for his sandwich at the front and left a appropriate tip for the waiter before heading outside. He paused for a brief moment as he thought how best to speak to the woman. After thinking for a few moments he simply walked over to her table.

"Excuse me, do you have a moment?" He asked carefully. He didn't want to scare anyone. He didn't want to reveal his own secret but he also didn't want to draw attention to the woman either. A direct confrontation would do both of them no good.

Apology accepted Drakel. :) I'm looking forward to seeing the characters get to know each other. It's going to be nice to stop the constant fighting for a change.

@ Lovely: Just so you know, Tyran did respond to Dawnfire's question about Valkorian funeral rites so we're good to go on that.
