Heroes: The Fall

It's been nearly thirty years since the Heroes of the world finally met their match in the form of a vast unified force of super-villains under the banner of a mysterious figure. They struck all around the world in a single night, nearly rendering their heroic counterparts extinct. What few heroes remained after the purge either died fighting or went into hiding, their spirits shattered after seeing the horrors that they had failed to prevent. Captain America, Spider-Man, Thor, they all fell one after another against the combined forces that were thrown against them. Certain Villains such as Magneto, Doctor Doom and others were given the territories that they had conquered as rewards for their actions during the purge.

But in the years after the purge, the infighting amongst certain Villains began as they began to grow tired of the territory they had been awarded and looked to expand their territories. As this infighting began, more and more minor villains and self-proclaimed Warlords emerged and began to fight amongst themselves throwing much of the territories into chaos.

Now, as the Villains fight amongst themselves a new generation of heroes is emerging.

It's time to bring the fight to them.

Pretty much so XD Eventually a much larger plan will be revealed and the heroes will have to stop it.

Eventually we will get costumes. But to start off all the characters will have to try and avoid attracting attention to themselves.

So is this specifically Marvel stuff? Not that I mind if it is, I can work with that. Tentative interest at least, I guess.

It is set in a marvel universe but it's a bit different than the Old Man Logan universe :)

Before the old guild went down I tried a few different versions of an Rp that is based on the premise of the Old Man Logan marvel comic book. In essence, a world where the Villains finally took down the heroes after the Villains finally gathered together as an organized force under the banner of a mysterious figure. As a result, teams such as the Fantastic Four, The Avengers and X-Men were pretty much wiped out. However, certain villains such as Magneto and other villains were also killed during the last stand of the Heroes.

The Rp will be set nearly thirty years after the events of the last battle where the majority of the heroes lost their lives. But it's now time for a new generation of heroes to rise. The central plot of the Rp will be the new heroes attempting to fight there way across the country to Washington where this mysterious leader of this alliance is rumored to reside. But the purge of the heroes was the first step in a much larger plan that only a select few know about.

For heroes who used objects as the source of their powers or augmented their abilities such as Iron Man's armor, Thor's Hammer((Dibs)) and others, if you can find a reasonable way of getting ahold of these items or similar items you can use them with your characters. You can either create characters that are similar to established characters or create original ones.

If enough people are interested I'll start up an OOC thread. Feel free to take a look.
