When Evren asked if Aava was looking for something, the näkki had already found the open toolbox and a rusty swiss army knife that lay inside it, the knife end left open from its previous use. Too focused on the task to answer Evren, Aava tested the blade before gathering the mass of algae like hair that dragged behind her and beginning to cut through it in rather rugged motions.
The hair was surprisingly thick and hard to cut, be it from the blade being dull or the hair bearing a mythical essence to it. Bear in mind, Aava didn't know how to cut hair, so the end result was very choppy and uneven - she had cut strands from different lengths and angles. The longest hair pieces still reached Aava well over her lower back, whereas few of the shortest cuts reached her shoulder blades. And the näkki wasn't even halfway through, the rest of her hair cascading down to the floor like she was a bony, green haired Rapunzel. Most of the dirt and twigs were on the part that touched the floor, but even cutting Aava's hair meant she'd still have to wash it, probably. Not that the näkki cared.

Nessa's eyebrows shot up ever so slightly at Beck's suggestion. She didn't remove her gaze from her numb palms, but thought it over nonetheless. The woman's offer felt inviting, almost tempting. Beck explained herself a little, earning a small nod from Nessa in return. The ravenette cast a curious sideways glance at Beck, amber eyes meeting brown.
"My leg's all healed up," Nessa lied swiftly, her pride getting the better of her. Almost like a wounded animal, hiding its injury in hopes of not seeming weak - an easy prey. "I suppose I wouldn't mind tagging along, though," she continued then, her words concealing the fact that somehow she really did want to go with the other woman. "I really need a change of scenery." It was a relief that Beck had offered, to be honest. Without that, Nessa knew she would've been too stubborn to suggest it.
Beck made being open look so easy. Maybe it is, Nessa pondered. Just... not for her. Not yet.
Ack! I'm sorry, I could've sworn I replied many days ago! Apparently not. Well, I fixed it and replied now!

Sneasel looked at the Bulbasaur with a sharp gaze, scoffing a little. "Sneasel, snee snee," ('I'm strong enough to take on a poison pokemon, don't worry') it almost chuckled, diving into a bush once more despite the warning
Meanwhile Lorie walked alongside Sarah with a bone in her throat. That's how it felt, at least. The other girl had just asked Lorie where she was from and honestly, there wasn't much of a worse question she could've asked. Lorie stared ahead steadily as they walked, mulling over the words.
"It's not relevant," Lorie settled on with a sour expression on her face. She let a silence fall for a while before thinking the better of it.
"A place called Unova. It's real garbage," she offered.

Toshi nodded at the woman and looked curiously as she released a Poliwhirl named Kawaken into the fountain.
"He's cute," Toshi smiled, "hopefully Mantine won't be too rude."
The Mantine seemed to ignore Kawaken at first, only turning to look at it as it began to speak.
"I'd be fine if I wasn't here," Mantine answered, although it sounded like an animalistic noise to the two humans present. "You let that thing name you?" it continued, looking at the woman. "You know you you're much stronger than her, right?"
I finished and PM'd my plant lady, I hope there isn't too much I'll have to redo in case I messed up some parts haha.
I'm actually already very excited for this roleplay, and seeing there are this many people interested, the cast is for sure going to be very colourful :--D
I must say I'm very interested in this plant

I'm drawing her right now yeehaw

Also spiders???
@QueenNugget Omg that sounds perfect! We're going to have an interesting dynamic between the characters :-D A succubus and a plant lady
My carnivorous plant girl is probably going to be a cashier/waitress who struggles with trying to control the enormous carnivorous plant sticking out from her back. I mean if anyone wants to share an apartment (roommate style) with her I'm not going to complain - she isn't wealthy enough to afford a whole apartment for herself. :'D
Could I come in with a human-carnivorous-plant? :D I'd love to play a waitress in the café, that or a customer. I already have the character, I'll just have to write and PM the sheet.
@Kinjaav

Aava stared at the map presented before her, trying to understand what Evren was saying.
"(Is that far?)" Aava asked with a frown. "It is just a small distance away..." she continued in english. Aava - never having seen a map before - didn't quite grasp the concept of distance on map.
Looking around the cabin, Aava began wandering around and looking at things, examining them. She wandered around, looking for something sharp like a knife or scissors.
"(Evren, what do you do in your 'home'?)" Aava asked after a while, still wandering around. There was so much more to do underwater.

Nessa nodded at Beck, her mind buzzing with questions. Leaving town really did sound pretty tempting. She'd have to be in hiding for a while, so it seemed that Beck and her were both leaving the town for different reasons.
"You're from Boston?" Nessa asked before she could stop herself, awkwardly leaning against the wall as well. She really didn't know why she even cared.
Nessa cast her eyes downwards and rubbed her palms. They felt cold and numb. A faint throbbing pain radiated from her slowly healing leg.
"I think I should leave town too, for the time being. That lunatic seems to know where I live, and it doesn't make me feel exactly safe," Nessa explained with an unreadable expression. The ravenette couldn't really place the feeling, but being around the other woman felt strange. It was probably the most connection she'd had to another person in years, all in one day. Just seeing someone more than once in a day was strange already, but... Sigh. Nessa closed her eyes, trying to dispel the beginnings of a headache there. She tried not to think about her weird feelings too much.
