"Kikiri? That's a pretty name. I'm Regan Hiryuu, pleased to meet you." The long-haired brunnette thinks for a moment on the question posed to her. "Erm, well, I'm from Japan, and I was raised mostly by my mother. I'm almost 15 years old, and I've been learning martial arts since I was young. If we're going to be partners, you should join me for my morning training! It'll help us get closer and stronger, right?"
Just then, the door to the classroom opens and a teacher enters. One of the ones that had been handing out nametags outside. She welcomed them officially, warned them against fast partner decisions, so on and so fourth, all wrapped up into a neat, inspiring speech.
There's a brief show from a pair of close-quarters EAT meisters, to demonstrate what can be achieved, before the brief class is dismissed.
"Oh, that seems like that's it, then... perhaps we should go find the dorms?" Regan turns from facing forward, toward the teacher, to smile again at Kikiri.
