Bio

I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.

Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

The conversation didn't last long, with Serenity being the shy girl she was. Well, her unpacking was done for the time being and- oh. The ship was moving. Serenity steadies herself on her bed for a moment before standing and letting herself find her balance. She should really familiarize herself with the interior of the vessel. She should start where she came in. That was the cargo bay, probably? She left the room and ventured down to the cargo bay, hopping off the ladder at the end and looking around briefly. After a cursory examination, she begins to walk through the cargo hold, examining things more closely.

She stops at the wall of mounted guns, looking at them with some mix of fear and fascination. She hesitantly reaches up to touch one... and then someone greeted her suddenly from behind! She gives a little jolt, retracting her hand suddenly and spinning about. "Hello! Uh, m, hello." She glances over her shoulder briefly before returning her attention to the woman in front of her. Oh! She'd been asked a question. "I dunno, uh... these guns are old. And poorly kept. We probably... shouldn't use them." She wanted to disassemble them, since they really served no good other purpose... "How about you, what're you doin'?"
I dunno, read back. I believe they posted that they were withdrawing.
So I'm gonna sit down ansld watch Fairy Tale tomorrow so I can join the RP and feel like I can understand things. If you have a spot open.

Should I edit my post or something? Since Serenity went to talk to Dipper's character...
Banana man is truly a terror upon humanity.
Thank you, Skai.
Serenity busied herself with working on... whatever it was she was working on. A magitech something or other. "Vortex, do we have any more iron to spare?" She was just about done building the physical container for what she was building. Access to Matter magic really helped speed the construction along. She was a little worried, though... a shield generator would be a large power drain. Not that she could build a great one in the field like this, but it would be better than nothing, if they came under attack. She spends some time weaving Energy and Law. At least... calling it Energy was simpler. She could still do some things she used to, but... it was different, now. She could shape it or sculpt it, where before it was more like she was controlling it.

She set the finished component down on the floor, and the floor ate it.

Meanwhile, Serenity pulled up a holographic display of statistics, regarding Vortex and her machine's operational parameters. There's a graph displaying power consumption, which made a small peak with every step. "Alright, Vortex. Shield on." The lights inside dim for a bit and movement becomes a little sluggish, the power graph topped out before coming back down, though power consumption was a good deal higher. "Whew." The lights and movement returned to normal. "I'll have to increase power capacity... A reserve supply would be cheaper, though. Might be the better idea..."

Serenity sighed and stretched in her seat, dismissing the information screen and then slumping into her chair. Gold eyes flit between cockpit displays idly before they turn to spot Leslie. "Oh, hey. Sorry, didn't notice you. I... guess I was a little absorbed. Enjoying the ride?"

The seat doesn't seem to immediately react to Hibiscus's touch. After a moment, though, a lump pushes up into her palm, from the armrest. Upon inspection, there would be nothing there.
Sparring? Regan was a little panicked. She didn't feel ready at all to spar against another pair, but... well, she was a little used to being thrust into things she didn't feel ready for. Certains things will find you, after all.

Like this fight.

Ready? Uh, not really, no- ooohhh! Too late to object now. Her blade was still reversed, too... which worked out, here, honestly. She didnt have to worry about hurting her classmates so much, that way. Eliza leaps into the air and Regan saw who she was gunning for.

The weapon of the pair certainly looked fancy. The meister... felt strong. Be careful. They seem tough, don't drop your guard. She'd have to be steadfast, herself. The other weapon looked heavier than herself. She'd have to watch how they react to their attack.
It's alright, Dipper, I understand. My grandmother passed a couple months ago. Take your time.

Well... the good news is that Serenity will make a fine stand-in engineer, right?
We should probably get one of those guys that wanted to join.
