Bio

I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.

Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

"Anime style", I would say, is worse, since that just means they're trying to imitate something as vague as anime.
Rail Wars?
"I've heard of the Mage Guilds of this country. It's impossible to travel and not hear of them. I don't know much of them, though. It is good to hear that it's such a friendly idea. To aid and protect..." Trinity smiled softly as she considered the concept, though she's somewhat irked at the others chiding. All she said was that she didn't expect the other to recognize it, but... that wasn't important. "You shouldn't be so quick to assume someone isn't a mage." She smiles calmly and Requips her standing harp for a standing bass, changing her posture to accommodate the change and continuing to play idly.
Space Dandy is good.
"Current events could be anything, my dear. You could have told me about something completely innocuous." The weight of the situation here must be grave indeed, if she was so consumed by the events of her life. However, the conversation turned to herself before long. "What brings me here? I'm naught but a drifter. My home in Minstrel was destroyed, and ultimately, I took to wandering and playing music in towns I cross through. If you don't believe me, here." She pulled a cord from around her neck, which bore a ring. She took it from her neck to hold out for Penny to look at. "Not that I expect you to recognize the emblem of a Noble House of Minstrel, but..."

She would return to the cord and ring to her neck, going back to strumming her harp idly. "So, do you believe me?"
Guh
Guh, this girl has no tact! She had put so much effort into her subtlety, too! Just to have it wasted on this girl. Was she being told it was too much? Too much effort has made her subtlety obvious?

Well, it didn't matter. She didn't want to share any information, apparently. "I see Fiore isn't much on hospitable mannerisms. It's a more..." The minstrel plucks a few thoughtful notes on her harp before continuing, "protective mannerism. It's no place for drifters, it would seem. Such a shame..."
Well, we had said they met in the summer, before, right? I'm sure Ssssshhhhhhhhyour meister would be allowed to move in during summer break.
"My shoulder blade...?" Oooh, that wasn't good. And there were bullet fragments in her muscles? Ooh, not good. She had to relax, though... she couldn't get tense, or that would make things worse. She watches nervously as the lobster alien physician probed near her wound. "No anesthetic...?" Oooh, this was gonna hurt. He posed her a question, and her response was to simply open her mouth. She'd bite down on whatever he provided (provided it was reasonable), and brace herself. Her fairy, sensing her distress, flitted over to her other shoulder and- Oh, the lights went out.

Terra looked around, frowning as emergency power comes in. "Uh... you can see, right?" This red light didn't seem like it would be the best for a procedure like this, but surely, an obstacle light this wasn't enough to stop the lobster they hired for a physician. Yeah, it made her a little nervous, but she just had to trust his ability.

Luckily for the doctor, the Aeva named Sylph emitted a soft green light, complementing the red. She began to cast magic into Terra's shoulder. Nothing seemed to change other than a soft, blue glow, but Terra would be rather unresponsive during the procedure. She'd flinch and groan and whine and everything, but she wasn't screaming like probably should be.
Terra and Sylph would get a chance to work on new combat magics.

I suppose I should go write a section for Aeva magic capabilities...
