"That modesty of yours can easily belittle your real power, Fleo. But, thank you." Trinity smiles warmly at the dust mage. Fleo was very modest, it would seem. Plus, if she ranked as a low A at her last guild, she's probably gotten stronger since then. Her modesty likely colors her presentation.

As the minstrel listened to Fleo describe her power and her weakness, the gears in Trinity's mind began to turn. She almost missed Angelo speaking to her, but mustered a response. "If you think I'll have the prowess up close, then I'm ready to try. Although..." The minstrel looks at Fleo thoughtfully, almost studying her. "If speed is your weakness, increasing your power might only make it worse. Just like someone little, like me, is going to be able to out speed any muscle head that hasn't been training to maintain speed. Perhaps we should spar? You'll have to try and match my agility, while I try to do something about the power and strength you wield in your magic."

"Mmmm." Trinity turns to look at Angelo, realizing she'd left him out of the exercise. "Three-way spar?"

History: Maximilian had been with Nightshade Silphium for quite some time, quickly earning favor with Al-Gin early on for his intriguing Molding magic, and the fact that he was the mind behind the design of the airship the Guildmaster had just purchased. While on a mission for the guild, he met his future wife, and after a few years, they got married and a few years after that, they had Trinity. It didn't take long after that for Lord Stratos to decide it was time to retire, and pass his title to Regan, whom he had been training to take on the role. He used the money he'd saved up from missions and inventing to buy a plot of land with its own shipyard. He'd been planning the purchase for some time, and had helped build the shipyard himself, in his free time.

Seven years after his retirement, the Nightshade's airships showed up on his doorstep and disaster struck his home. Lord Stratos has been missing since.

History: Regan has known Lord Stratos for some time. Before the guild went dark, she apprenticed under Lord Stratos, who had been the guilds Enforcer before she took the position. She came to the Minstrel-based guild from the Eastern edge of Joya. She enjoyed spending time with the Stratos family when not working, and was able to visit the family at their home after Lord Stratos had retired, when she wasn't working.

For the past 8 years, she's been away on business to the Mainland. She was simultaneously taking a quest and going to retrieve a rogue member. She's been recently sighted moving through Seven, coming in by boat.
Personality: She's the strong, quiet type, though she's flirty with a pretty girl.

Additional Details: The Yawarakai-te is a katana that Regan has had in her possession since she came to Minstrel from Joya. It is the source of her Sword Saint magic, which allows her to perform amazing feats like cutting one object behind another without cutting the latter, or cutting away armor by the strap without touching the wearer. It is a magic that requires great physical precision as well as magical control.
The sword can not (will not?) harm the innocent or pure of heart. It simply passes through them.
Besides being a master swordsman, Regan can also fight with her fists. She augments her hand-to-hand combat with Force Projection magic, allowing her to fire energy blasts from her hands and feet.

Since "soon" has passed, I guess I can't ask for my username to be changed from "CirusArvennicus" to "Citrus Arms". Instead, maybe we could get a display name thing going? It wouldn't have to be a primary database key, so we could change it more or less freely. Maybe too freely... I'm sure you'll figure it out, if you decide to take this suggestion.
