Is that how you get visitor messages? I thought you got them by being cool. ... oh, shit, I forgot I had any.

If I ever imply France in an RP where, for example, the context for calling something "French Toast" doesn't exist, you can know that's not me.

Bio

I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.

Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

Apparently, Life is Cait's cat?

Hm. I must improve my writing. *nod nod*

Phoenix Wing Hall

"Oh, please, Fleo. It wasn't your fault. I flubbed the maneuver because I was doing too much at once. But yes, at least I didn't wreck anything." Trinity giggles softly, grinning at Fleo as she pushes herself to her feet from the bar. "Well, the bacon was a treat. With all the exercise I got and magic I spent fighting you, I gotta eat well. Those full incantation arrows are draining. Though... I have a hard time gaining weight, anyway."

The minstrel walks with Fleo on approach to Annalise and Ariel, "yeah, I getcha. We should probably ask to see the flyer, ourselves, too." She turns her attention to Ariel as they come to stand before her, smiling warmly. "We sure would! I was just thinkin' I should take a job, and I was going to take Fleo with me. If you need someone to go along with you, we'd love to."
Some friends swear at each other because it's just a part of their vocabulary. I swear all the time, though I try not to here because google search bots might flag us for it or... something?

Also, time to post 'cause I forgot my laptop at a friend's house yesterday. >>;
Oh no, a swear. The degredation of society must be upon us.
Phoenix Wing Guild Hall

Trinity was pleased that Fleo had accepted her offer. Taking a job would be a lot more fun with a friend along. It was a little exciting, really. She hasn't purposefully gone anywhere with someone in a long time. "It'll be fun, traveling together." As Fleo excuses herself to go change, Trinity looks up from her meal with a full mouth and gives the magess a thumbs-up. When Fleo returns, Trinity has finished her eggs, bacon and hash browns, and is eating her English muffin with strawberry preserves.

She puts a hand over her mouth to respond. "What now?" She swallows her current mouthful after a bit more chewing. "Well... We could go back to sparring, but I think I hurt my shoulder a little bit with that last maneuver. Landed right on it..." She rolls her right shoulder a little bit, eating with her left hand. "Might be best to give it a rest, put a little ice on it. Oh." She dismisses her bow from her back, shoving the rest of her breakfast in her mouth before she draws an ice arrow and rubs the flat of it against her shoulder.

"Annalise? Yeah, yeah, interesting is a way to put it. It looks like she at least understands flattery and high society, though..." Trinity couldn't help but notice the strange young lady's formal behavior when regarding Jarvis, even from the bar. And from what she could also see... "Ah, looks like Ariel wants to go on the job Annalise brought. Maybe we should go with her?" Trinity turned her gaze back to Fleo, wondering what she thought.
Well, she was posed a question.
Aah, did I miss Fleo going somewhere? >>;
Magnolia Streets --> Phoenix Wing Guild Hall

Trinity had distanced herself a little bit as she bore witness to Annalise's sudden though seemingly predictable mood swings. It would take getting used to, but it seemed like, if you knew her well enough, you might be able to guess how she'd react and prepare for the appropriate swing. Maybe.

As they entered the guild hall, Trinity noticed... something green and shiny on the back of Annalise's neck, but the minstrel thought nothing of it. What was more curious was that the woman went over to put up a job on the job board. Ayumi was already addressing that, however. Other than that, it seemed like they had more new members? Did something happen?

"Hmm..." The youthful minstrel gazes at the job board for a moment before she approaches Fleo and slipping an arm around her waist. "Fleo, would you want to take a job with me tomorrow? All this work I've been doing for the guild hasn't paid much. And by much I mean anything, beyond a place to stay... which... I suppose I should be thankful for." It was then that her stomach growled at her, and she blushed just a bit. "Ah. Yes, I suppose I should eat something, too... Oh." The young lady starts to head toward the bar, trying to guide Fleo to come with her. She wouldn't force her. "Jaaaaarviiiiiis, we broke the feeeence." She slips onto a bar stool, letting Fleo go to sit next to her, if she likes, and turning to face the barkeep. "The Breakfast Grub, please, with an english muffin, eggs scrambled, bacon and hash browns." She's been making enough money to eat from performing around Magnolia's streets. It was good to know that the citizens of Magnolia appreciated good music enough to support her. It wasn't something she should depend on for very long, though.
Are we looking to end the day relatively soon? So I don't start something when we're trying to wrap up. = w=
