If I ever imply France in an RP where, for example, the context for calling something "French Toast" doesn't exist, you can know that's not me.

Bio

I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.

Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

Any rules on post frequency?
What can I say? I love to roleplay.
Oh, wait. He fired a shot and missed the first one, yeah. He hasn't shot again yet.

And she was shot at before that, too. When she stopped running.
No. It'd be hard for him to miss, she'd probably die.
Big and small windmills.

Lancer, Regan Durandal, reporting! :D
Private Regan Durandal

"Huff huff huff haah haah huff..." Dammit! Her squad had been ambushed and wiped out. She felt bad about running away, but what was she supposed to do? Her mortar was too slow to take on all those enemies at once, and besides, they would have surrounded her and eliminated her easily. She had to leave her mortar behind, too... she would have been too slow and been captured or killed. If she could find another squad, she could warn them of the enemy movements. Maybe even reclaim the bodies and equipment they lost. As it was, all she had left was her katana. She couldn't face them all down with just that. She could hear some of them following her.

She stops as shots are fired in front of her, turning around and drawing her sword. It looked like she would have to make her stand here. She'd drawn them away from their unit, presumably, so perhaps she stood a chance... if they were foolish. The fact that they hadn't already shot her yet told her that perhaps they were.

Three imperials approached her, all aimed at her carefully. They surround her... did they intend to engage her in melee? Her eyes tracked them carefully, waiting... for the first move.

The one flanking her to her rear left charged her with his bayonette, and she spun in response, catching the bayonette with her blade and diverting it away from her before she counters, driving her sword up the length of his weapon and slicing through his body, severing his arm. He falls, and the imperial that had previously been in front of her charged her next, but she anticipated his action and heard his sloppy, heavy footwork. She pivoted and spun around his blade, throwing the momentum from that into a slash across his torso. One remaining, and he wised up. He was going to shoot her. She had to close the distance, quickly. She darted to the side, narrowing avoiding getting shot, but he was tracking her movement. She dashed toward him, but he'd backed away already. She wouldn't make it in time...
Ooooh hohoho, SNIPAAAAAAAAA!
Trinity: Ok, Annalise, I'm just gonna chalk this up to the crazy from the glass shard.

So, what's the latest explosion in the OOC, now?

Train

Trinity had made herself rather comfortable, rather quickly, but that didn't last long. Annalise started shouting, and the minstrel opened her eyes and sat up, staring. "Oh my god, pipe down, some of us are trying to-" The woman started using her magic, and the way she was right now, that couldn't have been good news. There was no time to call out her quiver, get an arrow ready, and hit her with it with enough effect to stop her. She had to act now. The mess of butterflies in front of her would prevent her from getting close, too, so she couldn't just tackle her back down. That would leave her exposed and vulnerable anyway.

There was only one thing she could do so quickly. She'd have to make it happen fast, if she didn't want anyone to see clearly. Ariel might, but she couldn't concern herself with that right now.

Trinity forms an energy make barrier in front of her and then expands it rapidly to push the butterflies away. It disperses after clearing just enough space for her to stand. "Hand Mallet!" A small orb of golden energy forms in her right hand and she crushes it. The energy forms just as she said, a rubber hand mallet, long enough to reach Annalise. The minstrel forms another barrier, to stop the sword, as she swings hard for Annalise's side. Knock her down, knock her out, and tie her up. And take her sword away from her... Her mallet would disperse after her attempt.

"Ariel, can you put her to sleep?"
