An Age of Empires [Low Fantasy - Advanced]

Basic Map of the Ryukyu Empire's cities, wonders, and fortified areas. Plus two seas and a bay.

Land of Ryukyu

Before you ask, the Inshingu Monastery is main Monastery of the Inshingu and is built like a mountain keep. The Imperial Palace is the residing manor of the Imperial family. While it is incredible comfortable and lush, its also built like a military fort, but its architecture does not follow most of the other forts and is built more like a Japanese/Chinese castle.

Wonders:
Ruins of Arytidum - The ruins of a previous civilization of unknown origin, current of high interest of Ryukyuan scholars and archaeologists.
Unity Tower - Build to celebrate the 100th birthday of the Empire, it is a huge monument to celebrate all of the people and species and their accomplishments while also inspiring citizens to make their nation expand even further.
Colossus of Bushinara - A statue of the first legendary general who lead the Imperial Army. He is shown standing with one foot on a stone and holding a torch in one hand with his other hand holding a scaled model of the "Sword of Bushinara".

Guess I'm joining the bandwagon:

Isn't it a bit early for side plots? Have a main event where everyone gets involved that explains to the characters the actual premise of the academy, it's curriculum and training methods. We as players know what a hybrid is and how it works, but our characters are on their first day; they need filling in. It'll also allow some room for groups to split off and talk between themselves, make friendships/rivalries before you move onto a major plot point. After that, then maybe side plots could be investigated. But jumping into characterisation arcs too early? Nah.
I'll post this evening after work.

I meant less serious things like having a talking fish that spouts out doom and gloom from its position on the wall or a class pet that is like a giant mochi. I didn't necessarily mean actually filler arcs.

So before anyone jumps into action...remember guys, let Judgement handle it.

Given how Misaka acts (and most of the level 5s in general) in canon, I have a feeling most of the more powerful characters will go out and deliver their own brand of "Judgement".

How about a sort of "filler" arcs with the stuff they usually have in school animes, like hosting a class party or hot springs? I guess seeing where the canon characters come in and interacting with them might also be a neat thing.

Also, I came up with the best ability that some one needs to create an OC for, osmosiskinesis, the power to defeat people using osmosis.
