Sorry for my absence! A Volunteering position suddenly turned into a Volunteer Leadership position I was not expecting at all so things have been hectic.

Look at you posers, having to bang dragons or sell your soul for magic when you could just play a lute for some. Anyways, here's Wonderwall. - Bards

If I've learned anything from Into the Wild, its that Chris McCandless is an absolute fucking idiot who went batshit insane over some romanticized vision of one of the deadliest place in the world, woefully under equipped and woefully over confident to beyond narcissistic degrees.

Working on it, if i don't get all done soon, I'll put it up a little later tonight & finish it off after.

Edit:

Right, done! (mostly), still might need some tweaks & rewording but here it is as follows, hope ya like it!, spent ages typing it all & now I'm gonna go fall asleep for a bit lol. :)

This sheet actually is making me curious on the possibilty of "hero" units. Like lord characters from Warhammer or something, just a general badass who leads great power and respect. @Romero thoughts? :3

Also, I would be lying if I didn't want to see Novogord's cuddly polar bear cav go against the KragFang cav. Also, dem battle tactics for the Fearless trait.

"They seem to be charging in the wrong direction." xD

That moment when you're almost done with your character and your laptop restarts itself. -Pulls hair and screams.-

I know this pain. I remember working on NS's for literally days, only to hit the command to refresh the page instead of opening a new tab. :<

The pain. The agony. The horror. It hurts ;-;

Would that be relevant 200 years after a nuclear apocalypse? Most people would have little knowledge about England and Scotland, and know nothing about their history whatsoever, especially since most wouldn't be able to read. The vast majority of people would exist in isolated and ignorant communities - I can't personally see how any Scottish national identity would survive in any form.

I know you slapped down Wade for expressing his view, but I felt it bore mentioning.

Not necessarily.

The NCR was built on pre-War American value (albeit skewed) which means some traditions had to survive and Caesar made the Legion by literally modeled it on some bits of the Roman Empire from history textbooks. Can't imagine the UK not having either of those. Also the Great Khans, its safe to say they must have also used some historical material or else they just got really lucky with coincidences.

There's also the vaults or Havens in this case; its safe to assume that they wouldn't drag people from all across Britain into Havens and have them intermingle until their original cultures were gone. They'd be populated with the local population, thus keeping knowledge of the traditions of the magical lands of Scotland and England and such alive.
@Kingfisher As a question, you already got one (But I was planning on making one) but what about another Scotsman? Being one I kinda wanted to make one but then one was already made...

I can think of another concept if need be.

McKilty is by no means a legit Scotsman. He's what my American eyes see when I look at that general area known as Britain minus England.

Please, make a real Scotsman. I'm interested to see how the two would react to each other xD

It's certainly OTT, but I always figured that it was as much to terrify as it was to satirize. The petty nationalism leading to the Enclave advocating genocide and eugenics, the chirpy Americanisms and posters talking about the perfect American, contrasted against the desolation of a nuclear-devastated world (like Fallout 1's intro), always struck me as a cautionary tale. It's creepy.

The entire Fallout Series is actually pretty grimdark with what it implies or hides away.

I remember in New Vegas while playing through Old World Blues and stumbling into Little Yangtze and looking around. I though it was bad enough being basically a concentration camp for Chinese people until I saw that there were several desperate attempts all around the camp and how the bomb collars on the ghouls went off it they went out of the camp. And then I thought of all the shit the three remaining ghouls must have seen: brutally suppressed riots and escape attempts, harsh racist treatment that their own country put them under, seeing the people around them die of radiation or slowly turn into ghouls when the bombs fell and seeing their friends go "boom" when they took a step out of the camp.

Eh, his Irish's part is also fine. I would've preferred a split-personality however - Scotsman and leprechaun. Now that would be awesome.

For some reason that only managed to give me the image of a greedy kilted midget in a green suit <.<"
They're just badbass beardies wearing manly skirts.

McKilty approves and differs, the kilt is not a skirt, its bearded badassery storage. You think a pair of pants can contain all that Highland goodness?
What about the irish part of him tho?
