Because within said community are both asshats and idiots; some people just like to be trolls/jerks while some people deserve it.

Personally I find a post quoting them and calling them out to be proficient enough.

What is your best roleplaying memory?

I remember the very first actual RP I was ever in, it was an RP based on the anime/manga series "Toaru Majitsu no Index" (A certain magical Index) call A Certain Chaotic Academy (ACCA) run by @Masaki Haruna and @Hebigami Shiho, friends that I can only hope to see again one day. I remember how we'd used to go through several pages of OOC and maybe even a solid page's worth or two of IC a day at a pace I haven't seen since. I had never been so involved in an RP since then, refreshing ever few seconds to see a new post, staying up into the wee hours of dawn chatting and RPing OOC, to say the least, it was quite something amazing.

Hell, it what was probably what go me so hooked into RPing in the first place; a sense of communion that the socially awkward me at the time had never felt. I used to be envious of my classmates who had social media friends in the hundreds and their real popularity in school (I was young and stupid back then okay?); but ACCA sort of fulfilled all of my social media fantasies in the dumbest, cheesiest way possible.

However, like all good things, ACCA slowly died as its GMs faded and interest waned as characters and players started dropping out, to this day I haven't seen many of the people who were originally part of it in a long time. But I have never forgot it, nor the character I had used for it which has since undergone a myriad number of edits, revision and rewrites.

The other RP that was the most memorable was a scifi NRP run by a wonderful bastard-of-a-friend, @Keyguyperson in something that I sometimes now call "key-fi". It was the first scifi RP I was in and probably the first NRP that I could ever really remember, all of that research and picture hunting as well as me feeling like an idiot before the people who'd talk OOC about theoretical physics and the science of space travel, lasers and xenobiology. Its also where I met the wonderfully amazing @RomanAria so I'm unsure if I could ever forget that RP.

[Pre-Interest Check] School, Youth, and Zombies (School Live-inspired RP)

The end is here, zombies walk the earth, everyday you wake up in the ruins the old world and what are you most worried about?

Your grades.

How are you supposed to get into a decent college or job if you fail you next history test or physical exam or crafting lab? Your parents are also going to flay you harder than they'd flay most zombies if you fuck this next one up. Ouch.

Hello people, this is a pre-interest check for an RP idea I've been bouncing around since I've finished watching the anime School Life (boy was that a mind fuck). Basically School, Youth, and Zombies (title pending) is a mash between you typical school-RP and a post apoc zombie RP in a strange way that I hope will be interesting. Now, before I get into the details, I am going to say:

There are things that will not make sense/seem illogical, just accept it m8

Now, for some fast points that I think to be implementing into the RP:

• A school set in the post apoc (duh) where some students live on campus and others do not!
• Several "factions" that your character can come from of all the wonderful post-apoc flavors!
• Carrying weapons around in school 'murica style!
• Upperclassmen being able to go out on class excursions to scavenge and hunt the dead!
• School classes that you'd actually be interested in!
• The occasional undead horde/raider party that comes by to try and munch on/raid you that the school needs to defend from!
• An absurdly powerful student counsel made of NPCs (probably)!
• Possible "variants" of zombies!
• Anime logic and physics!
• A Japanese-styled academy/school because this is anime-inspired and I'm a fking weeb!

A major point I also need to get across is yes, there's zombies running around the streets still, yes there are asshole raiders who want to kill/loot/raid/rape/burn/eat you, your friends, your family, your home, your pets and your entire life; but all of that is sort of "secondary" in a way. School will still be school for the most part, its just instead of guys talking sports and showing off their muscles with girls chatting away about fashion or whatever; guys are boasting their new weapons or loot while the girls are off debating what color to paint their armor or whatever.

Now, I should call attention to why the reason I'm calling this a pre-interest check over a normal one. The biggest one is that I'm still solidifying ideas and details, so expect all the stuff to change/not be what you first expected (the weapon carrying is going to be the largest/the one most of you are interested in). Second is that I'm just testing waters to see if I should even try to continue this idea or shotgun back to the grave; my proper IntChecks are often what turns out to be my OOCs of which I spend a good deal of time one. Third is possible time constraints in the future so instead of putting up an IntCheck and continually promising for an OOC, I'm just going to put this up and say "coming soon™" so I'm not nearly as pressured to do this if I can't keep up with it.

Now, I hope you brought extra #2 pencils and extra bullets since I'll be here to answer questions if anyone interested may have them ^^
