Read something somewhere about how there was feminist undertones in the movie (actual feminism btw, not the mainstream feminazism that's all the rage these days). Having rewatched the movie, I can see a bit of that.

I will admit its much more amusing to see cars asploding and kamakazi spearmen and shit, makes me want to get all chromed up and jump on to the next truck I see from a car while shouting "Witness me!" as I enter the gates of Valhalla.
