@Aiyanna Hmmm, well then I may just go somewhere in the middle and rather than having Silas full on explode, have him just vent some frustration. It's still decently in character, and it doesn't totally kill interaction and reaction potential. BTW @Hammerman If I do this Silas will likely bring up the fact that Kanako had just flashed both Silas and Zafi twice.

@Aiyanna You've misunderstood what I said, I didn't mean that there was anything wrong with the situation so no need to apologize. All I'm saying is that I'm not sure how Silas would react.

If I make him go nuclear, it's probably one of the more character appropriate responses but it also kills future interaction possibilities with you and Hammer. Also if he does blow up it'd probably be on Kanako because even though she is "innocent" in this case, Silas doesn't know her and thus he really doesn't give a damn.

If I don't and have him roll with the situation, it's pretty out of character but it leaves more opportunities for future posts. But I digress.

Seriously though, I have almost no idea how Silas is going to respond to this. I mean he could either explode on Kanako for flashing him, or he could just roll with it which seems pretty out of character to me.

Silas Asara

Once the last of the oppressive ash had left his airway, Silas sat back up against the wall of the corridor, which was now coated in a fine layer of soot. Even if it was... quite bad for your lungs, he had to admit that the appearance of the settled ash muting the colours in the hallway was pretty friggin' cool. Unfortunately, Zafi was once more back to her stoic self, and his own conscience was busy berating him Maybe you shouldn't have been such a jackass when she asked if you were alright!

"Alright, enough with the hopeless look. Didn't I just say that I was alright?!"

His words may have fallen on deaf ears though, as Zafi's piercing gaze seemed to shoot straight past Silas. A thought from earlier welled up in Silas's head returning with new curiosity, Did she do this on purpose? I don't think so but... there's always a chance... If Silas left this question to fester in his head it would likely bother him for at least a few days, so he decided to be curious no longer.

" Look Zafi, you didn't MEAN to cause... this, right? I mean if it was an accident we're co- "

Without warning, the door just across the hall shot open and the girl from earlier, stood at the new threshold. A squall emitted from her position, knocking the ash and smoke away from a small area, in a few moments the smoke had been scattered. Silas's hair, already being short and quite messy wasn't affected too badly by the winds so that was a nice gift from fate, albeit a small one.

In the carnage, somehow Zafi had ended up closer to Silas than he remembered, stranger yet was their positioning. Her head was hidden behind Silas himself as if he was shielding her from some unspeakable horror, and how exactly did they get this close? Not that Silas was opposed to it... The other girl had also blundered, in the fact that while she was getting rid of the smoke, Silas ended up getting a rather close up shot of her panties.

Unable to stop himself, Silas face grew quite a bit pinker as he involuntarily blushed. It was not clear when Silas had started blushing, or what caused it, but it is a safe assumption that both girls had an impact. A quick question from the other girl brought Silas back to reality.

"You two alright over there?"

...Or at least it would have if Silas wasn't completely stunned by what had just happened. After a few painstakingly long seconds Silas shook off the stun and finally gave an answer.

"Um Y-yeah we're fine, thanks for coming along when you did."

Manilow would probably have found Catherine to be quite alluring, if obviously a bit on the dangerous side. Whether anything came of that depends on what you would think Stern, but I mean hey? I find it pretty fun when the mentors in stories have histories, especially with each other. ;) ;) Nudge, nudge.
