Shepards of Ivalice: The Wings of Ruin

In regards to canon characters, it would be interesting to see the Children born in this timeline be included so Jo-Anne would have a "uncle" Yarne and "aunt" Nah when they are finally born in the current timeline. Also, how people would react when they discover Yarne didn't give permission for his daughter to become a Shepherd.

Do you want to PM or collab a support dialogue, @Eklispe? I'm thinking we probably should post it after Jo-Anne confirms the Beast's name is Grima and thanks the moogle and vieira for their support, maybe also punching the mercenary when people are dispersed for causing the situation in the first place. What do you think?

OK, I got it. I just tend to think in terms of if they're sentient races with males and females, then interbreeding can commence. I'll restrain that line of thinking then.

"My race is known as the Taguel."Jo-Anne replied to the two's questions, wondering why they asked her in such a weird way. She was right there. "Would it be too much of a bother if I asked what your races are called?"

"Kuppo, this one is direct," the little, white one said. "And seems genuinely ignorant, kuppo. My race is known as Moogle by the humes."

"And this one's as the Viera," said the tall one.

"Humes? Oh, you mean humans?" Jo-Anne said pointing at a nearby example of that race. Then she heard one of the senior mercenaries chuckle about how the town made a good coffin. The Taguel looked quickly to see which one said that then turned back and said to the duo, "Don't worry. I'll punch him later for you. You've clearly done everything you can to defend this town and its inhabitants. He shouldn't make comments like that." Then she saw three natives walking towards the offender and sighed."Look, I better see to it that a fight doesn't break out over his ill spoken words. That's the last thing anyone needs. Maybe I'll catch up to you two later. The name's Jo-Anne by the way."

Then she darted to the area, seeing that one of the myrmidon was already trying to defuse the situation. But the silence of the offended wasn't boding well to his efforts. "Look," she said when she approached. "The last thing we need right now is to waste our weapons and lives squabbling over the extremely rude words of a uncouth mercenary. Our enemy is Grima and his Risen, not each other. If it would help things, I'm willing to punch him right now, rank or no rank, as a punishment for his insult."

Tierra woke up at the first light of morning. She stretched herself first and gloried in the sunrise. Then the tanned girl went to take care of bathroom stuff, getting changed, putting her stuff in her locker, and grabbing Luna and Sola, made easy since hardly anyone else was awake yet. The black-haired girl went to grab breakfast when she saw a strange sight, a mohawk student was strangely chained in the center of the courtyard. He looked mad and she was hungry so she didn't stay long to study him and his chains, but hoped it was a teacher punishment, not a student prank.

The call to come to the initiation area came after she had finished breakfast, so she hurried to comply."This is it. Today I show myself capable of entering Beacon. Today is the day partners and teams are assigned. I really would like to be part of an all Faunus team, but would be happy to at least have another Faunus on my team, preferably as my partner. Nor would really be great in that count. If my partner was human, Argent might be nice. Cereza would probably not be that dependable on wilderness missions. I would prefer both of them and any other humans to having a racist or a bully as my partner or teammember."
