Bio

Hi.

I'm an Interdiscplinary BA, searching for a job in the current market, and this site has been my introduction to role-play. I prefer medieval and/or sci-fi roleplays and am a fan of Star Trek, Star Wars, RWBY, Fire Emblem Awakening, Superheroes, and Fairy Tail.

I not that much of a noob to not know what a holocron was :). I was just doing that first part during lunch and still had the mental image of a library stuck in my head where the holocrons presented holographic text when opened. I'll go the datapad route though.
Within the Jedi Archives, a young human male, tip-toeing along, crept up behind a Twi'lek reading something on her datapad, most likely accessed using the library's interface.. He was about to tap her shoulder when she turned around, full smile, and batted his hand back with her own. "Did you really think you could sneak up on me like that, Xai?" The Twi'lek asked. "I can feel you from a mile away."

Xai'qui then went full grin, "Did you think I would stop trying, Jas? Especially when you're reading about,"the lad checked what page was open. "Thought so, reading about that Barsen'thor again. The Hero of Tython is still the better hero, stopping the planet-busters, taking on the Emperor himself. Come on, how can you prefer the diplomat who never had a harder challenge than merely some minor Sith lords?"

Jasma sighed, sometimes wondering why she bothered, "The Third Barsen'thor cured Jedi Masters from Dark Side possession, freed an entire planet from invasion almost single-handedly, faced a few Darths herself, even confronted a First Son of the Emperor and actually rid the galaxy of its threat instead of having the Emperor survive somehow. Does your master just give you time to debate with me or are you shirking your duties again?"

The black-haired lad made his best offended look," Me? Shirk my duties for the Jedi order? How could you accuse me of such a crime?" Then his face relaxed, "Shirking from meditation and dish-washing do not count. And the only reason I have time right now is because me and Sir Driscoli were given R&R time before our next assignment. Of course, he's knocking on the sky right now, trying to peer into the future. So I figured if you were around, you might be here, reading about ancient Jedi arts or your table-sitting friend."

"Oh Xai," Jasma then made an exaggerated sigh and the two started chuckling together, like in their initiate days. "Well, I guess you can say that me and Sir T'ish are also R&R-ing before our next assignment," said the Twi'lek as she started calming down. "T'ish is up in his room, doing his lightsaber meditations to the sounds of rain and bubbles. There was nothing going on in the healing room, so I thought I'd read for a bit. I wasn't sure if you would be here."

"It has been a while hasn't it Jas?" Xai said thinking back to their last time together.

"A very long while Xai," replied Jas, thinking of that same time. "Though hopefully the war should end soon and then travels won't be required that often. Then we can meet up on a regular basis and..." She stopped and felt around, an unease fell over her, a sense of dread... and fear.

"Jas, anything wrong Jas?" The human said, trying to break through whatever had come over her. Then he felt it too, faintly but vividly.

The Twi'lek then started fiddling with her datapad, "Xai, help me back up the archives. This won't be able to hold all of them. Just help me find some, any digital storage units."

"Right," Xai replied. Then the two scrambled about, searching for what to backup the database onto.
Perfectly
OK, I decided that their first mission reveals it to the Jedi community, killing the specific mission need and the official introduction of her ability needs in one stone. Will need to wait for Jbcool to arrange more details?

Do you mind if I make a post now?
Alice had been examining the bandit's bodies when she heard Veo's crossbow. She then rushed to where she heard his shot, replacing her bow for her shield and drawing her sword. The village girl had at first followed the footprints when first trying to find the camp, but when the blood trail presented itself... The blond was sure she recognized the tooth marks, but hadn't been able to place it. When they came to the camp, she had examined the other bodies to see if it would jog that memory.

But as Alice finally came upon the satyr's location, she recalled why they were so familiar. Those tooth marks had implented themselves on a tree she was climbing up during one of her early hunts where the village girl had been surprised by the ambush of a lone warg. It had jumped just like this one, and Veo was focusing on reloading his weapon. With a final burst of speed, she shield bashed the creature mid-flight, inches away from the shop owner's neck. The warg was knocked away and Alice had enough time to get back her balance, placing herself between it and Veo and hunkering down in a fighting position. As she waited for the monster's move, her eyes alighted on the strange spiked collar.
Cyrania, Ant-Man, and Ultron

The flamboyantly dressed hero recovered her composure after the Ghost was completely gone from view. This was no time to be dilly-dallying around gawking at other people’s tools. She turned to her two companions and said, “Well, guess we should check that machine then. ‘Casper’ probably at least gave us something to work with.” Then Cyr moved closer to it, waiting for Janet’s interface. Then an almost earthquake like tremor rocked the ground, but the girl of the Badlands knew how to ride it. She had needed to do so with similar tremors... She then turned to the two city slickers, “Is this sort of thing usual in Nueva York? ‘Cause it acts a lot like the kind the Hulk-like creatures make when they land after a jump.”

Closing her eyes as if in thought, Janet’s processor got busy. She connected to the data drive Ghost brought, searching for one bit of information in particular. There it was! Firing up a long range connection, the Ultron’s mind raced over the channels until she found a link to the desired target, using the password Ghost’s files provided to dodge most of the firewalls.

Raising her hand, she used the projector in her palm to display satellite footage of what was going on. “Oh, it’s that alchemax prop robot. And… oh hello, where have you been hiding, webslinger? Maybe we should investigate?”

Henry just turned to Janet. “You want to take on, vision?” He tapped his own helmet as something else came through. “Well. It seems that the Thing is having a beat down in central park as well. With some kind of magician fellow.” He looked at Cyrania at the last part. “Seriously, two magicians in one day?” He threw his hands up in the air as he walked around the room. “You know, this endeavour was a lot simpler before you all-” He jabbed an accusing finger at Cyr “-Started turning up.”

He sighed. “We’re going to have to divide and conquer. Though at this point I’m not really sure where I’d want Janet to go.”

Alice ignored Ant-man’s comment and looked at Janet’s hologram again. “Only one person might be needed there. See, there’s someone else already on the assist.” She responded pointing at the gun man. Then Cyr looked back up at Mr. Pym, “Any reinforcements for the magician fellow? If this “Thing” is having a beatdown, then that fellow might appreciate help immediately. You have our only real source of quick transportation. Wouldn’t be good to come into a battle worn out.” Then the brunette snapped her fingers, “I’ve got it. We all three first go to where the Thing is. Then if you think we’re able to handle it, you can leave us girls to fight him and go assist Spiderman. If not, then we all help out the magician guy first since he seems in the most immediate danger, then see if the webslinger still needs help.” Then she paused, “Sound like a good plan?”

“If the THing is anything like the real Thing, I stand pathetic little chance against it unless you want me to collapse a building on it’s head, killing everyone in the way. I am too… soft. Vision on the other hand, that would be more a battle of minds than a battle of strength. I am confident I can beat that imposter, even as I am now.” Janet evaluated. “I can hack traffic controls to divert what traffic there is to other areas and keep the private eye out until they figure out they’ve been had.” the Ultron offered.

Henry shrugged. “Really the point is, we need to get going. Though I’m not sure about either of you yet. You’re not ready for anything like that yet Janet, even if I were to activate your combat subroutines you don’t have the hardiness for it. Hell even if you went up against vision he can fly you can’t.” He sat there, he was already calling in an ant to carry him away to the fight. Though there was still the other problem too consider. “I’m not entirely sure about either of you in a fight. Though there’s something in the museum that you might be able to work with.” He closed his mask as he walked around the room gathering any and all items he felt he might need. Shock disks, shrink disks.

He hit a couple of keys on his wrist pad. “I’m firing up your combat subroutines, but I can turn them off if need be. Remember your programming though, if people get in your way acquiring this piece of tech stop them. Though don’t kill them or gravely injure them.” He pulled up a screen on a tablet and left it sitting on the desk. “You might need to tweak it a bit to make it work.” With that he hit the button on his left hand, shrinking and jumping aboard an ant.

Janet’s jaw dropped. “I didn’t even know that was there… yet! Still processing all of the world’s history.” Janet said, looking at the almost intact extremis armor of the very original Anthony Stark. Useless to any human, but with her nano skin, it would be perfect. As a base that was. The repulsors were common, dare she say outdated technology at this date. Still, it would protect her well enough for now and let her fly. More than she could ask for. “Well then, I’m off to go commit a robbery.” turning to Henry, she had a serious look on her face: “But call me if you need any help, ok? I can still do something through hacking.”

Cyr smiled a bit at her friend’s joy, then she turned towards Mr. Pym. “Can you tell me at least where Thing is now? If I’m to go for the assist, I need to know the place.”

Henry shrugged, realizing that at Ant-Size there was really no point in doing that as people couldn’t see him doing it. He relayed his voice via a speaker in the… pile of computer in the middle of the room. “Get the armour, focus on the vision. If you deal with that, call me.”

Alice cocked up and saluted towards the machine, “Yes sir.” Then went with Janet to the museum.
What do you think would be a good scenario for them to learn about her Force Insight?
Cyrania one of the things I will want you to detail is your use of Force insight, specifically how you learned it once JbCool is online. Only reason 'm allowing it is as the rest is fine and JbCool is away currently.

I was going off Jaca Wilsam from Star Wars: the Old Republic. She was an Alderaanian handmaiden who had an unique force gift, the ability to see a person's true personality. It sounded like it was one of those abilities that certain people, even among the Jedi, are just born with. That's why Jasma steered clear of the most vile of her captors during her years of slavery, she could already feel the evil within them and it warned her away.

(But younger looking and without the collar)

Name: Jasma Quillum

Age: 17

Race: Twi'lek

Appearance

A slender, average, blue Twi'lek with black markings and grey eyes, around 5' 4". She wears the normal Jedi garb of a padawan with a blue lightsaber.

Force Abilities

  • Basics-(focus on Telekinesis; uncomfortable with Mind Control
  • Force Healing
  • Force Insight (a rare force ability that allows a person's core personality to be be felt, to fully delve into the ability as of now she needs to focus all her attention to the specific person, though she passively gets hints)

Non-Force Abilities

  • Lightsaber Combat: Is proficient in Forms I-III (Stronger in using the force than in using a lightsaber), is currently learning Form VI from her master
  • Herbal Knowledge
  • Dancing

Personality/Motivation

If Jasma sees innocent people or allies in danger, she'll rush in and help them. She prefers simple situations, where there's a clear goal, a clear enemy, and obvious things for her to do, making her one of the few Jedi who were actually comfortable on the battlefield. She has no patience for diplomatic situations (though she has graduated from having her master stop her from threatening to kill the annoyance to having to be stopped from keeping the person where they were until they agreed through creative means[ex. surrounding the target with furniture then making the furniture immovable, having carpets ready to pounce]), but she would be in absolute horror of herself if she actually did kill someone without cause and does try to suppress that temper. A major motivator there is that she wants to be like the third Barsen'thor of the order, an exceptional Force user during the Galactic War both warrior and diplomat who freed a planet from the Sith Empire practically single-handed and the Sith Emperor's most entrenched spy. She's read the files of that Jedi's exploits so many times that she could recite the whole thing word by word. Probably has a lot of the order's history practically memorized like that as well, from all her looking about for any clues of where holocons of lost Jedi techniques are, especially the shielding one that first made the Barsen'thor famous. Though she also studies up on more common force techniques though but hasn't recieved actual instruction.

Secrets

Jasma became the closest of friends with the boy that helped save her life throughout their years together at the Jedi Temple. But she hides especially from him the love that she developed for him. She read in the Archives how two Jedi who were initiates/padawans in the Temple together could get married and would like to initiate that with him. But she doesn't know how exactly he feels for her and doesn't want to force him into that kind of relationship without his true consent.

She trained herself in her people's traditional dances in secret at the Jedi Temple, mostly because she knew it was probably something they did not want a Jedi initiate to waste their time learning and she was embarrassed to show many of the moves to the other's with the vow of chastity the Jedi had to take and all. But she finds it somewhat increases her lightsaber skill since the fluidity and gracefulness inherit of dancing gives a mindset to help develop her fluidity and gracefulness with a lightsaber.

Relationships

Xai'qui Sel: the boy who helped save her life, they have now grown to be the closest of friends, though at least on one side, something more brews under the surface

Seris: Jasma knows her by sight at least from Jasma's vists to the Archieves to pour over the holocrons there, reading about various Jedi force techniques, hints about where to find long lost techniques, the story of the third Barsen'thor again, and other information she's curious to know, also where she makes sure no one is watching when she starts her dance practices.

Master T'ish: her Jedi Master

(Any connection between other players' characters are welcome.)
I'll work on that with him. I promise.
