If I am not mistaken from Google maps, there are some smaller towns around the area, spread out by quite a few miles, Also if i'm not mistaken some one set a cabin on fire to so maybe the smoke can see visible quite some distance away? so I suppose you can find some options there so we are not altogether straight of the bat but also not so far away to the point of never seeing one another :P

I'd be willing to step up but I am unsure of the planned story. Along with that my GM ability is limited in experience but have done some Co-GM with a friend once on here.
