Helena could only stare in horror at the sight of Haruko floating amongst the other spirits. “Haruko… W-what happened?” She mumbled in fear. Chosen kept his blade at the ready. “Helena, that’s not Haruko. Not anymore.” He said as the two noticed the Scapeghosts being surrounded by more of the terrifying spirits. “Uh… Chosen, save them!” “But Helena..” ”I said save them!” He gave a worried glance towards Helena before rushing towards the frightened duel spirits. He jumped into the middle of the group and stood in front of the Scapeghosts, slashing any spirits that approached.
”This… This doesn’t make sense… What… Who are you!?” Helena pointed at the possessed Haruko in a fearful manner. These spirits, all that stuff that Haruko had been doing in the forest, surely this was just a coincidence. Or was she actually responsible for this? It was like the start of a horror movie or something.
After Helena explained herself, the girl seemed to ponder a minute before looking around the room in embarrassment. "I- I'm sorry! I should've known, I should've asked, I- I'm- I'm Haruko! I- um, I'll take these down! Right away!"
Haruko climbed the bunk bed and started to take the paper dolls down. Helena heard a small bleating noise and noticed one of the Scapeghosts in the corner with a sad look on its face. “Um… W-wait! You don’t have to uh… Take them all down.” She stated, trying to cheer Haruko up. Chosen appeared by the Scapeghost and knelt down to it. “Sorry if we spooked you.” He gave an apologetic smile.
“Um… What are they for?” Helena asked, referring to the dolls. She was looking at one that was still slightly swaying.
Helena looked around cautiously as she got off the boat, so many duelists… As to be expected, but just the sight of the crowd made her want to just blend in and escape the moment she had a chance. “Hey, come on now… You won’t have to be in this crowd for long.” The voice of her partner, Chosen of the Celtic Guard, spoke up. He was standing beside her, giving her a reassuring smile. Whether others could see him wasn’t much concern to the elven spirit, as his only concern was making sure Helena didn’t have a panic attack. “Let’s just keep up with everyone, you can disappear once you have a room.” To that, Helena just gave a quiet. “Ok…”

The speech and explanation of the academy and rules took longer than Helena would’ve like. And after she got her equipment, and an “encouraging” message about needing supervision should she decide to duel, Helena made a break for her dorm room. The Slifer dorms were definitely… Rustic. The results of the being at the bottom of the ladder, not that she was complaining. “102… 102… 102.” She eventually found the door and was about to open it before remembering the radar on her PDA. She fiddled around with it for a minute before figuring out how to turn it off for herself, Chosen looking over her shoulder curiously as she did. “You know you’ll have to duel at some point…” he said before vanishing as Helena opened the door.
She was immediately stopped in her tracks at the sight. Her roommate, presumably, was humming to herself as she hung up little paper dolls around the room. Spooky goat spirits floated about, moving past and through the dolls, creating a rather mesmerizing sight to behold. Helena would’ve been freaked out if she wasn’t familiar with spirits. The girl eventually noticed her and panicked in spectacular fashion, causing her to fall from the bunk bed she was using to hang her ornaments.
“Wh-Wha-, Who! No, why! Why are you here!?” The girl demanded in a panicky tone.
“Wow… You really spooked her, ironic given the Scapeghosts…” Chosen said, appearing beside Helena.
Taken aback a little by the girl’s panic. Helena thought of an appropriate response. “I… I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to scare you… I’m uh… I’m your roommate.” She said, bowing her head a little.
Personality: Helena is very reserved and quiet, tending to stray away from crowds, or people in general. She’s not much for conversation and only ever really responds in short sentences or in just a few words. When her psychic powers start to go haywire, she starts acting high strung and erratic. Her irrational actions before calming down usually end with her running away, out of fear for what she did and to just get away from the situation.
Dorm: Slifer Red
History: Helena had a simple childhood growing up for the most part. It wasn’t until she started talking to what at first her parents thought to be imaginary friends where things started going downhill for her. After watching a few duels on tv, Helena decided to pick up dueling herself. She chose the deck that had the friends she spoke to as a child, whether this was fate or not didn’t matter, as the results spoke for themselves.
Helena began to pick up dueling rather quickly, but it wasn’t until she started engaging in more serious duels that her true nature arose. Without warning or reason, she started to receive severe headaches during her matches, and as they continued dueling, her opponents would start to look as if they were exhausted, even hurt. Sometimes her matches would end with the headaches becoming so severe, that she’d end up knocking her opponents unconscious, knocked out by the seemingly real pain she was inflicting them.
It didn’t take long for her to gain a horrible reputation, causing people outright avoid her. Even her parents had become increasingly wary of the uncontrollable threat that she was. Eventually, her parents got her in to Duel Academy. Was this them trying to find a way for her to try and learn to control her abilities? Or were they trying to get rid of her? Either way, Helena didn’t know what to think at this point in her life. She wanted to control her powers, but she also didn’t want to hurt anymore people in her attempts. Maybe Duel Academy was the answer, maybe someone there had the same problem as her and could help her. Or maybe she’ll be stuck alone in an unknown facility, with only the spirits of her cards to keep her company. Only time would tell.
Spirituality: Helena can clearly see and communicate with spirits. Whether this is due to her psychic abilities or something else entirely is unknown. She finds comfort in talking with them, as they have been the only ones to stick by her since her psychic powers manifested.

I’m fine with any option honestly. Do have one question though, how are the MSs going to be handled? I’m guessing we’re not getting Gundam suits right off the back, so are we choosing from the grunt/officer class suits in the Z/ZZ era? (Ex: Nemo, Marasai, Gaza-C, etc.)
She sort of becomes a Force ghost who continues to resonate and communicate with Amuro during his fights with Char and whether she finally “passed on” after their final battle is up to interpretation.
