Mai listened to the results of a battle that had taken place. Judging from what she saw before and the "rumors" and some reports she had read on Lorenzo, a very intense mock battle had taken place. Though the destruction as she saw before suggested that it was no mere test battle.

But it was the name Irina Spanova that did catch Ma's attention to a degree. She was considered a "Ace" despite all the..."things" going around her with project Homonculus. The other thought was about her previous framework, the Setsuka aka Model ID "R-1" since she knew that it was transfered to her squad. She would have asked about the status of the R-1 but thought better of it. No doubt it was beyond repair or perhaps COULD be repaired but she doubted Lorenzo would put in such a request considering the man's current behavior. Despite the fact that her Sync rate with the Setsuka was higher than her sync in the Neo Angel, the..."higher ups" felt the R-0 Custom would better serve Mai than the R-1.

Orders were orders.

Even so, this squad beat Irina Spanova but it was obvious the battle was a disaster based on Lorenzo's observations. Despite Lorenzo's personality on what she's seen of the man so far, he had every right to be displeased to some extents. Still, a victory was a victory.

They completed their mission.

The fact that the only casualties was that of the opponents alone was saying something if she had to hazard a guess.

When Lorenzo was asking for any questions before announcing the squad leader and even address her, Nikolas and Daniel, she merely and slowly shook her head while standing at attention.

"...no sir...I have no questions at this time...", Mai droned.

She could have suggested having Cadet Nikolas transfered to another division due to his..."behavior" but if he was here, it was perhaps for a good reason so she didn't say a word about it.

Well I've had trouble bringing Mai back into this fold because I was late too and there was already a character with a similar persona to her. Still, Ariamis and AtomicNut were kind enough to help me out some and let me join with not too much alteration of the original profile.

Not sure if Yeshua would fit in now. Still, you did come at the right time. The traditional opening "mock battle" has ended. Myself and two others have just joined with our characters in transit. So you ain't TOO late if the GM's think you can still fit in.

@Mr Rage Either way, your upgrading your framework/mech so you can't exactly "lose". Still, it depends on how you want to approach a combat situation. Some say an extra weapon. Some say protection.

I know where you mech comes from so why not a stealth system? Either way, lots of choices. Though in-story, you have to wonder how Lorenzo would put up with such requests =p

I'd be able to but not sure how that'll work. I could pop into the RPGuild chat room if we had to do this "live" but there's always a bunch of people in there. Might make things difficult. I have Skype but not sure if that'd be any better or if anyone even has it or even WANTS to use it.

But right now, I do have some time so yeah, I'm up for it anyway.

Well sorry for the holdup but I think I worked stuff out with AtomicNut and Ariamis. I guess all that leaves is the ok to start the next..."chapter" I guess? I figured the mock battle was chapter 1 of this RP.

Ah well. At this point I am going to say, you have an approved character, so you are free to play already. But we do not commit ourselves to expand any plot hooks you may have had with that character.

I also strongly reccomend that you forget about tweaking Mai and start from scratch a new character, if you wish to avoid the duplicity I mentioned. And avoid split personalities and disobedience. That won't end well. Before the first battle, even.

Yeah I've already asked Ariamis about this. Since her personal history and such is pretty much up in the air, figured he could do something to fit it into whatever plots he has in mind since it seems like anything I come up with at this point is...annoying everyone here -______-'
