Current Smarty Jones... Just... Consider removing the 'Smarty' part of your name if you're going to try and kick up a side-argument here, there's no reason for that. Otherwise, let's just move on.

People don't tend to think about rules when in disputes. Instead, just point out that whoever stops arguing first gets to see the other make a fool of themselves if they going after it all stopped.

The best part about being on the Guild this long is that nowadays, I can sit back and chuckle as the newcomers try to start a fight an instead get all the old hands ganging up on them. Popcorn for me.

Got my first covid vaccination today. I was terrified, but the staff there were very well trained and things went well.

Every few minutes playing Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, I tear up from the memories. It's not often you get a game that truly pulls at the same heartstrings as your childhood playthrough's once did.

Mary heard something from her helmet, and bent down to it. As she did that, one of the large aliens thrust his foot down on it, growling a little. Mary immediately drew her head back, shaking a little in fear of the creatures.

Sarah follows the Spartan, her face filled with a little anger, hidden beneath her helmet. "Squad leader, where are you?" she asks into the COM.
((Mary is downstairs.))

Sarah growls as she fires. She then stops for a moment, and realizes what she is doing just as two more dropships come in. "Fuck. Run." Sarah turns, and runs toward the ONI building, diving inside.

Mary, downstairs at sublevel D4, sits back against the wall, scared of these aliens. The screaming of the man in the other room came to a stop. Mary swallows nervously. She thought the man was dead, until he was dragged back into the room, his wrists looking burnt. He is thrown beside Mary again, and looks at her. "Do not piss them off." He whispers. "Listen, you're a pilot, I can see that. If we manage to get a chance to run, we head to sublevel E2. There's a new pelican design there, and it works. It just needs field testing." Mary nods. "Yes sir." She whispers back.
Sarah continues to walk, filled with rage. As the group approach the building, a pair of alien dropships swoop in behind them, spilling out masses of troops. Sarah clenches her rifle tighter, staring at them. She then closes her eyes for a moment, then stops, turns, and walks a few steps toward the squads. "Go to the ONI building. Get Mary back. I have something I need to settle with these bastards." Before waiting for a reply, she brings up her rifle, and begins to drain her magazine of it's bullets, making sure every one hits it's intended target.
The aliens look at Mary and the man, then after a moment, turn and bow to an alien that seems to be of the same race wearing what looks like that of an olden days war chieftain. It also had a large hammer. It began to growl things, and one of the aliens grab the man, walking out of the room with most of the other aliens, leaving Mary and three of the aliens to hear the screams of the man. Mary immediately tries to break out of the cuffs again, and screams again, flopping onto her chest as the aliens laugh.

Sarah nods, standing up. "After this, I'm getting laid." She picks her rifle off of the ground, and then flinches, looking through the optics. "Oh, you fuckers can attack the UNSC. You can kill my squad. You can fuck me for all I care. But you do not. Screw. With. My. Rifle!" She grabs the scope of the rifle, which appears to be damaged, and attaches it to her hip. She then grabs a small cable from a pouch in her armour, inserts it into the rifle, and then puts it into the back of her helmet. A small box popped up in the corner of her HUD, acting as a digital scope, though one with considerably less range than the real thing. She then begins to storm in the direction of the ONI building, shooting what she sees.
Sarah nods quickly, running to James. She quickly slides onto her knees, grabs one of his med-kits, and tries to figure out what she could do. She hadn't trained to be a medic.

Mary prepares to land on the ONI building.
Well, land was a false statement.
She let loose at some targets on the roof of the building, doing a flyby. She really wished that she had a co-pilot to handle adjustments. As she flew over, she felt the rear of the craft getting a lot of stress due to unrepaired damage. She began to descend onto the building's roof carefully, when more targets came out of the interior of the roof. One was holding a large gun with several rod looking objects that glowed with eerie green light. Mary had no time to maneuver. She rolled out of her chair, and sprinted to the back of the pelican as the front exploded behind her. "Fuck!" She shouts, as she jumps out of the pelican's belly and onto the roof, which was a few meters below her. She hit the ground hard, and blacked out for a few moments. When her eyes began to open up, she realized that she was being dragged somewhere deep inside of the ONI building, as well as two other people, both wearing ONI officer uniforms. Mary immediately thought to struggle, but the other woman did that, and got what looked like a spike into her forehead. Mary gasps lightly, looking up at the aliens. They looked rather like gorillas, and carried crude weapons. One thing worried Mary, though. There was about ten of these things, and they looked like they could beat anything to death with their own hands. Maybe even a Spartan.

A few minutes later, Mary is tossed against the wall with the other man, and is cuffed with some sort of handcuffs that looked to be connected with electricity that flowed between them. Mary tried to pull them off, then immediately started to scream out in pain, bashing her head against the wall as she suffered, accidentally activating her COM. She then leans forward once the shocking was done, and her helmet slides off of her head. Tears of pain drip from her eyes. She could barely see the words 'Sublevel D4' on the wall, or the man who was staring at her's facial details. Her vision was blurred with pain.
Mary looked down, and let loose with the gun, trying to evade at the same time, pointing the pelican's nose to the targets to show a smaller target herself. Suddenly, something exploded, and the console showed that the pelican had been hit, though in a non-vital place. "Bastard." She hisses lightly, firing a missile at the hunters. She zoomed in with the optics of the gun, and let loose at one of the hunters, who got hit by the missile she launched. Suddenly, a second explosion. The image on the console that had the damage report on it flashed an image of the pelican, two sections highlighted red. Mary didn't even need the console to tell that an engine had been damaged. She could tell that by the fact that the pelican was descending. "Delta-one-four, mayday, mayday!" She called out, "Engine has major damage." She slammed the pelican flat to increase surface area, and put the belly jets on overload. She managed to barely keep the bird in the air. "I'm triple timing it to the ONI building. I need to land." She pointed the rear jets forward, and began to fly there, avoiding shots as she flew.

On the ground, Sarah turned, and began to shoot the remaining hunter with her rifle. "Die!"
Not trying to GM or anything, but looking at all the CSes + the reservations, I think that adds up to over ten people.
"If we weren't ready to face them, they wouldn't be dead." Sarah begins to walk forward, sweeping the area. The ONI building was a kilometer ahead. Inside of the pelican, Mary quickly looks around, rapidly firing at hostiles that were around her. A strange fork shaped ship launches itself toward her at full speed, firing it's weapon. "Ah, shit!" She realized that she had the COM on, but didn't care. She wasn't losing another pelican today. She punched the engine shutdown, and the pelican dropped, a shot of plasma hitting the very rear of the tail. She quickly turned back on the engines and put them to full thrust to stop the falling, then let loose with the main gun, adding in a pair of missiles, too. The hostile craft dropped to the ground and exploded.
Sarah aimed around with her sniper rifle, and the pelican took off again. Mary, who had the gun's camera linked to her helmet, looked around. She saw a cluster of some greyish coloured creatures with some sort of mask on them as well as a tank on their back. "There's some... Things, up ahead. I'm engaging." She began to fire at the cluster of enemies. She saw one that looked like either a bird that walked or a lizard with no tail walk from around a corner. It saw the UNSC forces and clicked on what seemed to be some kind of blue shield. Mary focuses fire on it, and takes it out. On the ground, Sarah opens up with her sniper rifle.
"Aye, sir!" Mary says, lowering the pelican down. "I'm gonna... What the hell! Hang on!" She overloads the right jet for a second, and the pelican suddenly jumps to the left, dodging a green shot that exploded in the air next to them. "That was a close one. I can't drop you guys here." Mary brings the pelican around, and dives into a clearing, flaring the landing. "This'll do. Everyone, pile out of my bird! I need to give you guys close air support. I have orders to get you guys to the ONI building safely!" Sarah quickly jumps out.
