Current Smarty Jones... Just... Consider removing the 'Smarty' part of your name if you're going to try and kick up a side-argument here, there's no reason for that. Otherwise, let's just move on.

People don't tend to think about rules when in disputes. Instead, just point out that whoever stops arguing first gets to see the other make a fool of themselves if they going after it all stopped.

The best part about being on the Guild this long is that nowadays, I can sit back and chuckle as the newcomers try to start a fight an instead get all the old hands ganging up on them. Popcorn for me.

Got my first covid vaccination today. I was terrified, but the staff there were very well trained and things went well.

Every few minutes playing Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, I tear up from the memories. It's not often you get a game that truly pulls at the same heartstrings as your childhood playthrough's once did.

Correct. ^_^
Sure. xD Let's keep this complicated mojo out.
Yeah. The only AI that could have survived is Cortana, as she was the only smart AI made by a living duplicate (illegally made) of doctor Halsey's brain. Another duplicate could have been made, or a sacrifice of Halsey's brain itself, and used to rebuild her neural networks, extend the lifespan, or reroute her personality files to a previous, calmer state. This also had the disadvantage of many risks, one such one being a new Cortana being made instead of a repair of the old.

The only AI to live far past the deadline is Juliana, an insurrectionist AI stationed on the rubble. The only reason she lived is because she was given very complex tasks, and things she really had to pay attention to.

There are ways that AI can survive rampancy, however these are purely theoretical or they just extend the lifespan (an example being Mack and Loki, whom would continually switch command of Harvest's AI data center).

A more complex discussion to Rampancy can be found Here.
And her Rampancy had been taken care of when the UNSC had recovered the two of them from Requiem, so she wouldn't be leaving the LT anytime soon.

There is as of yet no cure for AI rampancy. Just thought I would point that out.
"Are you sure you want to use that?"
Emily shakes her head in response to Cody's question, slinging her rocket launcher onto her shoulder and grabbing an MA5C off of the table in the center of the room. Cody shrugs and grabs his own set of weapons. A moment after they begin picking grenades, Andrew strolls in as if he was having a casual day at work, grabbing a standard loadout of a pistol and rifle. "You been grabbing the drugs, private?" Emily asks, a grin on her face. "You know, I'm not sure the UNSC will react well if you are nicking all of the morphine for adrenaline pumps and overdoses." Andrew looks back at her with a grin on his face. "Shut up, or I'll give you a prostate exam and then tell the UNSC I did it because you and Cody slept together." Emily and Cody's faces both go red as Andrew laughs.

The door of the armory slides open, and Samuel takes long strides toward them. "Sergeant on deck! Dauntless, form up!" Emily calls, and the trio stand ramrod straight in a line along the table they were organizing their weapons on. Now that they were paying attention to their squad leader, they saw that there was someone in white armour following behind. "At ease," Samuel says, standing opposite of his team, the Spartan standing aside. "This is Spartan Rose. She will be accompanying us, mainly for spook reasons-" Rose gives Samuel a sharp look from beneath her helmet, and he returns the look, though a lot more casually. "Go ahead. If you don't like the way I speak, say it yourself."

Rose turns to the ODSTs again, and clears her throat. "According to our resources, star charts, and cross referencing of data analysis, it has been concluded that this is a new system. For ONI sections one through three, including ONI division delta six, I am required to gather intelligence of this system." She turns her head back to Samuel, who scowls lightly. "Dauntless, grab your gear."

Arrow had been gathering information on the current scenario, and was compressing and piling files in Rose's storage drive on the Trinity. "You know," He says in her helmet speakers, "You didn't need to be so harsh with them. Even though Mr Peterson looks ready to shove you out of an airlock." Rose giggles quietly, and wiggles her eyebrows at Samuel's image on her HUD. "Jeez, you make that sound like I was angry." She says, watching fireteam Dauntless grab their equipment. Once they are done, they move out, Rose following.
Great! I'll be waiting on it. ^_^
The hype is real! The hype is real! God help me, it is real! *Squeals with glee*
and space ships obviously cost a lot of time and money to build (unless they don't.) which means it would be stupid to hire fresh-out-space-academy people which could seriously jeopardize the ship

I'm not a GM, but there is a semi-obvious answer to this. Without no fresh people, there would be no veterans, and therefore no military. Without a freshie being on a ship, they do not gain experience and do not turn into a veteran.
Upon the arrival of Chaoria's queen, Rose's jaw drops open. She recognized the queen from years back, and was still terrified of the woman to this day. "Y-Yes," Rose replies, breaking into a nervous, fearful shudder, her ears folding down. "S-She is in the throne room. A-Allow the guards to escort you there." Hearing this, several guards made sure to spin on their heels and make their way back into the castle, whereas the other guards, most of whom had not experienced anything to do with a necromancer and had no reason to fear the woman, began to line up in formation to escort the woman inside. Rose took a few fearful steps toward some of her guards.
Rose huffs silently, crossing her arms. "They are yours now." She waved behind her, and some more people walked out of the city to mount the carts of gold. Rose walks closer to Aden. "Are you happy now?" She asks, smirking. "Because I'd be happy to just get this over with." Rose was partially lying. She had a funny feeling in her chest whenever she looked at Aden, however she chose not to admit to this. Instead, she just blinked as she stares at him.
