Current "My life is KO after KO with no ref to call the fight." Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan has no right being this relatable

Getting ready to go to my first convention today. Pretty sure I've got everything packed, though I'm sure I'll end up forgetting something somehow

As Zac led the banged-up group to the Second District, he glanced back at his companions, noting the black coat that Hoshi wore. He felt a faint surge of anger rush through him at the sight of the coat, but quickly pushed it down before it showed on his face as he turned forward again. He took a deep breath and pushed open the door to the Second District and the Keyhole that awaited them.

After the group finished in the Second District, where Zac gave the Keybearers the tutorial on how to close Keyholes and once again impressed on them the importance of doing so on any worlds they visit, he led everyone to the hotel, where he met up with Leon and their friends in the Green Room while the Keybearers rejoined Morgan in the Blue Room. Some minutes later, Zac stepped into the Blue Room with a yawn. "Man, I can't wait to get some sleep," he said as he shut the door behind him. "Now that all's said and done, it's hitting me how tired I am."

He took a seat on the floor against the wall and continued, "So, good news: thanks to the Keyhole being closed up, the world's safe. There are still some leftover Heartless here and there, but the only path to the world's heart was sealed up. Between that and Leon's group keeping a lid on the Heartless, we don't have anything to worry about. I wasn't around to see you guys in action, but the fact that we're all alive tells me enough. You all did good." He stifled another yawn and asked, "Now, then. You guys all doing alright? Any questions, comments, concerns?"
Should I go ahead and gloss over Zac teaching the others how to seal the Keyhole and get things moving back toward the hotel or should we take the time to go through it?

Oh right. I forgot he didn't do that yet. How's everything on your end @Daxam?

I'm good. Sorry, I didn't realize everyone was waiting on me

I'll get a post up ASAP
@Daxam for the sake of the Hotel scene split (and my brain's present bandwidth), let's just say that Squall/co and Zac are all already on the same page as far as the intel; they talked about everything off screen. So at the Hotel, Zac will give the Keybearers+Morgan the lowdown on the situation.

I pitched the general idea to King... This is for the Hotel in Traverse Town, not an amend to the the adventure proper:

Blue Room: Zac-Hoshi-Levi-Lucian-Morgan
Green Room: Squall-Yuffie-Donald-Goofy-Daisy-Max
Red Room: Aerith-Leon-Launchpad

Basically, this would be for something similar to the scene in the first game where Leon and Yuffie explain the Keyblade and Heartless to Sora, and Aerith tells Donald and Goofy about Ansem. Basically the Traverse Town crew explaining to the Disney characters what the plan/idea is. Zac can drop some info/wisdom onto the Keybearers.

That sounds good to me. I was already kinda thinking along the same lines

The Incredibles world is definitely on the table. Though I'm not sold that that HAS to be the first world they visit. Having a world between Traverse Town and Incredibles for Hoshi to demonstrate her... err... lack of proper heroics, couldn't hurt. Unless we can somehow tie Hoshi's hesitance to place the 'greater good' over finding her friend and brother into an Incredibles world. Basically, I'd like to have a world where Hoshi kind of mucks things, setting the foundation for the things she needs to learn before going back to set things right.

Although... I wonder if there's a better option for a learning to be a hero kind of world than the Incredibles... is Marvel on the table, what with it being owned by Disney? lol.

I feel like we talked about Marvel, but I don't know if a concrete decision was ever reached
@Bacon Hoshi is going to have something to say to Levi while they're in transit to the 2nd District.

Or maybe it can wait until they're in the hotel?

Something about the guy that gave her the coat.

That reminds me, Zac's gonna wanna ask her about that after the Keyhole's taken care of
Before everyone could go their separate ways, Zac raised his hand and called out, "Hey, so, before we all decide we're out of danger, I've got some bad news: we're still in danger. But, good news is that it's easily fixed by anyone who can summon a giant key."

He slipped his hands into his pockets and continued, "We all know the Heartless are constantly going after hearts, right? But not just the hearts of people like us. They're also after the hearts of worlds, but they can only get to it when certain conditions are met and a Keyhole appears. Over in the Second District, there's a Keyhole just sitting there, ready for Heartless to pour into it, devour this world's heart, and wipe it from existence, just like it did to your island. We managed to fend them off this time, but given how much it took out of us, I doubt we'll be able to do it a second time."

He pulled a hand out of his pocket and summoned Stonecall before driving the tip into the ground. He rested his hands on the pommel and continued, "That brings me to our job as Keybearers. Our Keyblades can open and close any lock, even the Keyholes of worlds." He was quiet for a moment before he added, "I know you're all tired, but I need everyone who can use a Keyblade to come with me to the Second District while the way's clear. Only one of you actually has to lock the Keyhole, but seeing it should give the rest of you an idea on how it's done. This is probably our most important job and you need to be prepared for when you have to do it, yourselves."
Lol I'm expecting Zac to get one of the Islanders to do it in front of the others to show them what they need to do in other worlds to prevent the spread of Heartless.

I definitely didn't forget about the Keyhole, no sirree

I'm thinking he'd either do that or do it himself to show them how it's done. Kinda leaning toward the former so at least one of them gets a feeling for it lol
