I know Tonka and Haze are going to clear out the outside forces leaving the ground empty. If you all do a distraction before we enter, that might create some issues because Vellios, Vallis, and Kasy are primary position to get shoot or overwhelmed by those marching out. It could actually be more harmful to them than help. However, they could likely help set up Tanya and Serena over by the trucks and maybe they can set up some proximity mines for a perimeter in the event the baddies manage to get out too far?

What do you propose they do then? This is frustrating, I'm trying to figure out what to do. I want to have Alex and Dex contribute to this mission instead of hanging back twiddling their thumbs hoping for someone to get hurt.

I'm throwing suggestions out there and right now it feels like they're being shut down instead.

We moved into position, got past the perimeter fence, and through the trucks/skeletons/etc. and about to storm the warehouse.

Okay so, then before all the noise in the warehouse starts up Alex and Dex can provide a distraction for the housing/bar to divide attention. Maybe provide some time for techies to slip in to take advantage of the turrets.

Some input from others might be planning would probably help.

Who said anything about it being cleared out quietly?

Isn't that what's happening right now in the last IC post? Vellios, Haze, Vallis and Kasyra quietly cleared out the warehouse?

Last I knew, Tanya suggested you two keep back though since Tonka and Haze are clearing the area of outside hostiles... you and the techies are able to move into where the truck areas are. :p

Yeah I know we need to hang back.

Assuming that's the next step after the warehouse is quietly cleared out. Techies can take control of the turrets and the distraction can bottleneck the bar and housing unit into the fire.
I was thinking for the bar area, with the 12 some odd patrons and the workers housing we need a nice big distraction. If @AeronFarron and I can stake a claim on making that happen that'd be pretty sweeeet.

Then we can work on a post together at least without any miscommunication from people or collabs.

You are all wrong.

The funnier part is that everyone in the audience is enjoying themselves.

I LISTENED TO IT ALL BECAUSE MUSIC IS THE AWESOME.

I actually think this encapsulates Dex, particularly how I perceived her. A lot of it seems like it's lighter, more on the optimistic and hopeful side, and what the ship and the crew means to her. I know that wasn't quite your intention, but I tend to think we all put a bit of ourselves in our characters, and what's more personal than a taste in music? If I did a similar playlist with Tanya, it would definitely be something more heavy and driving, probably with a hint of desperation somewhere in there.

I actually really like that Imagine Dragons song, I never heard it before now.

Thank you Dervs <3. The optimism behind it is definitely intentional. I'm glad you pointed out the Dex spin on it (it was def unintentional), because I hope with this in mind we might see someone else making a playlist of their own~ I would listen the shit out of it.

A lot of trailers are starting to use it for ~gritty testosterone fueled~ movies. It sucks but I still really like the song.

@Heat Which is fine, I personally didn't see metal strictly fitting how I feel about The Borealis. Especially with the array of personalities aboard it now.

I'm not a huge fan of their earlier stuff since it's overtones of christian subject matter. Their third studio album was pretty good. Though thank you, I'm glad despite the one song it didn't ruin it for you lol. @Hellis

EDIT: Jfc one Evanescence song and everyone assumes it's Bring Me To fucking Life. GET ON MY LEVEL, LOSERS.
I mean that affectionately. Promise <3.
Eww flyleaf

YAY BILLY TALENT!

Oh nvm. When I browse as a american I get the list proper.

Or heavily judge said preferences in music............
Hey guys~ I just made an 8tracks playlist for The Borealis. I will be the one to make pointless playlists 100% of the time. I don't expect anyone to listen to it since everyone has their own preferences in music.

BUT IF YOU DO, I hope you'll like it :>.
