Well, the most recent line-up for Natural Selection is:

Villains

The Red Reaper- Athinar

Heroes

Justine/Myth-Tearstone

Icarus- EnterTheHero

White Witch- fdeviant

Racheli- Fallenreaper

However, as it stands, Racheli is obviously not going to be doing too much in the early stages of the kidnapping, due to sedation. The Cowl isn't going to be present, but Athinar has a whole gang, and Lekh will probably be in the van.

What's everyone's say on this line-up? Any new heroes or villains getting involved, anyone in the wrong place, etc? Can update the doc to reflect this.

I would like Odette to throw in with the Villains since she is on The Shroud Syndicate payroll and I want to rope her into the arc.

As for how I'm still figuring out. The easiest way I can imagine is getting a phone call or brief mention bringing her in. @NeutralNexus if you're willing to give Odette a brief mention or phone call that would make it much easier to haul her over to Lost Haven to help. I would really appreciate it too! :>

We were thinking to just chopping it up as a writing exercise instead depending on how much we have to change or anything. We started this sucker like back in February.

@fdeviant Are the conditions of the contract she has with the demon facts known to only her?

She definitely strikes me to have a moral compass that would point her to helping Rach when the contract is complete. Marie seeing someone unable to defend themselves or have their agency stripped away would probably compel her into action. :) Makes for an interesting dynamic for a character!

In any case I would be _secretly hoping for a confrontation between two magical characters. :>

Edit: also if I'm asking too many questions in regards to details that have been clearly spelled out in IC just let me know and I can read up for myself~

To be honest, I'm not sure how many heroes are even available to help at this point. Sounds like the kidnapping might just be really successful.

I suppose that really depends on who will decidedly get involved to try and stop the kidnapping. Depending who wants to throw a monkey wrench in things could make the probability of success drop.

Though the plan is really up to @FallenReaper and @NeutralNexus as Lekh has done his part, he can do more or less depending on what's required.

So essentially Lekh and Odette would be extra insurance the kidnapping to go smoothly. On standby with the intention to see things through.

If anyone needs clarification in regards to the snipers and how to deal with them, Dex basically found them on her scanners through the smokescreen. The range isn't very far so for the first two she found were the closest to the group while she'd have to move up to find the last two. Giving the way through to any creative solutions anyone might have to deal with the other two. Or to quickly resolve the sniper problem to keep up a good pace so we can get down to the big fight with the 20 or so batarians waiting for us at the bottom of the mine shaft.

@Fallenreaper I'm definitely interested! I could pull Odette's interest scope to Lost Haven then forcing her to contact the Syndicate in Lost Haven to offer her assistance, being on the payroll helps. Depending on what level of success she could act in tandem with Lekh providing protection against superheros with a few traps or insurances, buy more time for the kidnapping to succeed. She could stand up against a hero throw them a few curve balls buy time then disappear. It would be kinda hamfisted to shift her into the narrative with plans already in place but under the pretense she is there as insurance.

@MelonHead Lekh could take point on planning and executing the kidnapping while Odette can provide back up essentially keeping heroes off his back. As a suggestion~

Orrrrr if her involvement would shift things into the land of ~hella complicated~ I can veer off with other plans. Kinda set up the intro post in that regard, she could continue with her work in Paris or get a call and help out kinda thing.
