Sorry about that. It slipped my mind until last night, but I was already trying to fall asleep at that time, so I will try to get a response up as soon as possible.

No world in revolution RPs?

Several things have to happen before another WiR can start, namely:

1) We need to put aside our rose-tinted glasses and stop drinking the Kool-Aid. If we expect this to turn out just like the original 1861 that Outcast ran, we are just fooling ourselves.

2) More than one person (even two or three would probably be sliding by) is needed to run this game, let alone play it. We need to divide up the work between multiple people. There would have to be a private Google Docs file for the stats so that all the GM's can have access to it.

3) We need to take a lot (and I mean a lot) of the writing out of the hands of the GM's and give it to the "players". While it is fine if the GM's are responsible for war updates, the GM's should only need to post the results of the rolls for the orders and have the players write the text that describes the effects. This would help speed the updates along because the GM's only have to worry about the war updates, stats, and rolling for the orders.

4) We need to learn from the mistakes of the last versions of this game (besides the ones I have already listed). We should stay with the simplified stats (or when we make them, make them simple). Several of the other WiR games had some many stats that I could hardly imagine that producing those stats each round would not have been a nightmare. We need an infamy system that punishes players who are superaggressive or break treaties or do things that are harmful to the health of the game as a whole. Make other stats more useful (education, prestige, etc).

Clint Barton waited patiently on top of a rooftop directly across from the bank where Whirlwind had begun to rob. He waited for an opportunity to arise so that he could take the superhuman robber by surprise. While Hawkeye has much lacking in the superhuman department, he surely makes up for it in his years of training, not only as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, but also as a master bowman. Once Whirlwind was distracted after he collected the cold hard cash that was contained within the bank vaults, Clint drew his bow, selecting a flash arrow that would momentarily render the superhuman criminal stunned and confused, hopefully giving the other agents enough time to bag and group him before Whirlwind could regain his senses and use his wind-based powers to restore his advantage.

Unfortunately, things did not go according to plan. While the flash arrow did give his fellow S.H.I.E.L.D. agents some time to confront the super-powered criminal, it was definitely not enough time for them to subdue and capture the tornado-producing man. In fact, it looked like their confrontation only irritated Whirlwind that much more. Bursting out of the front of the bank while surrounded by gusts of wind, Whirlwind began to wreck some havoc before he attempted getting away scotch free.

While it would have been a lie if Clint had said he was not worried, Hawkeye retained his composure and scrambled to find a way to put down the superhuman villain. On his first attempt, Hawkeye pulled out a taser arrow, hoping that it would put the man down. After he set up the arrow in his bow and fired it off towards Whilrwind. However, due to the swirling winds that had been surrounding the supervillain, the arrow whirled around Whirlwind and (fortunately) struck a fire hydrant on the street. How could Hawkeye hit someone if that man had a protective barrier of wind that could divert Clint’s arrows?

Or did Hawkeye need to hit Whirldwind?

“Strikeforce,” Hawkeye communicated with the other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents on the street level, “I would recommend everyone take cover. Things might get messy here.”

This time, Hawkeye pulled out a different arrow, nicknamed the “Sticky Bomb”. Once Hawkeye launched this arrow at his target, even though arrow whirled around Whirlwind, just like the last arrow, the “Sticky Bomb” activated, launching a brown, sticky substance into the air. The swirling winds caught the gummy liquid and plastered Whirlwind with it. Once Whirlwind was incapacitated by this weapon, causing the winds to cease and the superhuman to fall down toward the ground. Anticipating the second, Hawkeye fired off a grapple arrow, catching the man by his leg.

“That could have gone worse.” Hawkeye thought to himself. On the street below, even though the “Sticky Bomb” had stopped Whirlwind, it had also coated the street with the sticky substance, too. While this did irritate some of the bystanders who either got coated themselves or their cars did, at least the supervillain was stopped, right?

Unless @nitemare shape has anything objections, the character sheet looks fine. Just one thing before I would accept it: did you ever resolve the whole NPC geneticist yet?

Sorry about the lack of activity, I've had coursework, revision and exams. Know that I'm still here and willing, but I don't know when I'll get a post up.

That's alright. I know that school is winding and that means papers, exams, projects, etc. Just try to get a post up as soon as you can.

"If I may, if we must split, send cavalry to remove the prisoner. They will get there and back faster. Fighting near the wall, not a quick and dynamic front yet. Not cavalry territory normally."

“You do realize that what you mean by ‘cavalry’ is only you and that guy named Marius over there, right?” Abra intruded into the conversation that had just started. “While I can see that you are quite, um, how should I put this, intense for a healer, would it really make much of a difference if only you went with him?”

There was a small moment of silence after Abra had made her opinion known. She wondered what the others were thinking, that she’s in no position to criticize anyone because Abra herself was the one freaking out about how desentualized they were to war and violence. Once Marius broke the since, Abra was relieved that he would making a response to what the others had said beforehand.

“You cannot be too careful on the battlefield. Once you have let your guard down, you are at your most vulnerable. Cannot be too sure about what tricks these men have up their sleeves.”

After Jacob had demanded the remaining ‘Church’ soldiers to surrender and Andre took advantage of the situation by pressing the defenders forward to cut down the remaining invaders, Jacob looked as if he was about ready to blow a gasket. Before he accepted the task of leading the Shepherds back to the caravan, Marius first wanted to get one final word in.

“If I say so myself, Sir Jacob, while you might not approve of Master Andre’s tactics, this is probably not the time and place to confront him about his wartime decisions. Would it not be better to do so in private after the battle has finally reached its conclusion? This is just my advice as a third party. Take it or leave it.”

Marius then turned Bucephalus around in order to lead the remaining Shepherds back in order to get everyone regrouped and rested before they had to reenter the fray, if such actions were even necessary.
