If you look, she posted prior to Fallen posting.

I saw that post. Where do you think I got "surgical strike" from? I was just waiting for other players to arrive (since it seems like everyone and their brother are assembling at the Sherman Center). The Arachne/War-Pulse post was written from their perspective. They were not present when he (hypothetically) responded to her. And I don't mean by "hypothetically" that I am not going to make a post (I will). I mean that we just haven't seen it yet.
-sad face- And then you ignore my post here too.

What?
@Fallenreaper: And this is my problem, how?

Just kidding. When I saw your post, I almost immediately thought, "am I going have to store this information again so that it is readily available?" Also, it sounds like you need some new GM's.

I'm still on the last Audrey and War Pulse collab you had if that helps give you an idea how behind on the IC I am right now.

Wait, wasn't that several months ago (our time, not IC time)? *checks* No, that was a year and a half ago! You're a year and a half behind?
Sure, it probably doesn't help out someone's writing skills, but unless you are relying on it to show who is speaking, I don't see how it can hurt. Books and roleplayers are different media in the sense that one is printed (or usually printed) while roleplays (at least play-by-post ones) are electronic. Color ink by nature is more expensive to use than pure black ink. Here, we don't have to worry about that. I don't mind it if it is not being used as a crutch.
@Fallenreaper: How many times will we have to go over this?

-2-day jump after Cowl's Riots. = Fight Umbraxis
-1 weeks after Umbraxis Fight = Present

So the time line is:
- Demon Invasion (1 month ago)
- Cowl's Riots ( 1 week + a couple days ago)
- Umrbaxis Fight (2 days after Cowl's Riots)
- Pax Metahumana kick off with tv announcements (~36-48 hours ago)
- Pacis Metahumanae domes form in key cities (a couple hours - 4 max)

And let me make this straight again. There have been no explosions in the key cities, at least not as a result of the devices. Archangel has made surgical strikes against some of the devices after they had been activated. Sure, those devices destroyed by Archangel "exploded", but not as a result of the device itself. Honestly, I'm not quite sure what are the exact details of the "surgical strikes".
I think it is more of a personal preference than a "sign of weakness". I really don't care whether someone uses them or not (although I would ask them to use something that doesn't hurt the eyes if they do use them). However, if we are comparing this roleplay to a book, it would be more apt to compare it to 10+ books that have been put together (and I don't mean book after book). This "megabook" would take the first couple pages from book A, then a couple from book B, then a couple more from book C, then maybe the next couple pages from book A, and so on.
To be honest with me trying colours elsehwere I am probably going to bring them here, but I only keep them for main characters. I feel it can work very nicely, makes it very comicly.

Though I need to plan out my next Hulk post while waiting for a response from Loki for FalCap.

I use them in the Create-A-Hero RPG, but for some strange reason I never got into a habit of using them here. I might just have to experiment with the colors. Obviously, I probably shouldn't use them for all the characters (only main characters). Someone in the CAH RPG actually made a post that shows how each color would look in a post. Some colors are too dark and some are too light.
Part of it is the contrast with the background gray.
I tried to experiment with colors in my last post. Not sure if will continue with that trend (especially since it was even hurting my eyes...).

Peter Parker | Bobby Drake | Angelica Jones | Scott Summers

“What, am I supposed to pat you on the back whenever you do something that you were already expected to do in the first place?” Cyclops reproached Quicksilver after the speedster’s little stunt with Herbert Landon. But the mutant speedster was lucky that Cyclops was not on the ground level because, after what Quicksilver had planned to do next, the leader of the X-Men would probably have given him an earful.

Suddenly, Peter’s spider-sense began to buzz in his head. After peering around for the danger and hearing Quicksilver shout out his name, Peter realized that Quicksilver had picked up some throwing knives from the stash of weapons that the mutant had lifted from the guards and the Maggia goons. Now, two separate throwing knives were darting towards both Peter and the doppelganger’s thighs. Peter had zero idea about what Quicksilver was doing; they had already established that he was the real Spider-Man.

Guessing that the doppelganger was only copying his own appearance, Peter decided he was going to try to deflect the knife. Even though his doppelganger was a villain, no one deserves getting struck by a knife in the leg, even at the risk of his own wellbeing. After unloading a round of web bullets, Peter was successful at knocking the knife out of its intended path so that it would safely fly past his doppelganger.

However, now Peter had a more pressing concern: the knife that was darting towards him. While he could have easily dodged the projectile if he had not taken care of the other throwing knife, the knife that was coming towards him was going to be a little more difficult to evade, especially since Quicksilver probably did not realize that he had put a little extra ‘zip’ onto his throw. Peter therefore attempted to sidestep the knife. Although fly past him, the blade of the knife still tasted his blood, cutting across his thigh.

“Holy shi…” Peter cried out in pain as he pressed his hands against the knife wound that Quicksilver had given him.

At the same time, Iceman tried to freeze both Firestars. The real Firestar, who had been standing next to them this whole time, instinctively used her own microwave-based powers to counteract Iceman’s power. The doppelganger, who had the ‘fake’ Firestar in his clutched, dove to the floor with his ‘hostage’ still in his arms, mainly as a subconscious reaction to doge the knife that had been flying towards him. However, it also allowed them to dodge Iceman’s attack.

“WHAT THE HELL, ICEMAN?” Angelica yelled at her teammate.

“We were just trying to make sure you were the real deal…” Iceman replied timidly, slowly backing away from Firestar.

“YOU COULD HAVE ASKED ME TO JUST ACTIVATE MY POWERS, NIMROD!” She continued to berate the ice-covered mutant. However, at this moment, she heard Peter yell in pain as the knife grazed the spider-themed superhero. Concern filled her mind as she looked back at Peter as he crotched to the ground with his hands trying to slow the bleeding. She then turned to see the perpetrator: Quicksilver.

“What the fucking hell, Quicksilver? Why the hell did you do that? We already knew this Spidey was the real one, you moron!” Angelica pointed towards the wounded Peter. Then, a yellow-orange glow began to irradiate around Firestar as she began to hover above the ground. “If you wanted to see whether we were legit because of our powers, then I will show you my powers!”

“Angel,” Peter muttered, still cringing at the pain in his leg, “He’s not worth it. I have all the confidence in the world that you could kick the ass of that sorry accuse of an X-Man, but now isn't the time.”

Firestar just levitated in the air after Peter spoke, glaring at Quicksilver because of what he had done. However, it was Cyclops who laid down the hammer.

“Quicksilver. LEAVE. Go home and wait for us to get back.” Cyclops pointed towards the exit that Colossus had made for their exit route. His voice was raised, but Cyclops tried to hold back from yelling, even though he would have had steaming pouring out of his ears if he was a cartoon character. Even before Quicksilver could complain, Cyclops already anticipated any complains, “I don’t want to see you. I don’t want to hear your voice. I want you out of my sight. NOW. And if the Professor hasn’t given you a mindful by the time we get back, you know damn well that I’ll give you an earful.”
