Current That isekai idea works until you take into account the advanced part and include things like AI, brain machine interfaces, etc. Knowledge can just be downloaded.

Unless you love kids a little too much, then a prison sentence is what can be done about it.

@ZAVAZggg There're several questionable aspects here.

Such as? (In case you're wondering about the immortality aspect, they're bound within suits. Should the suits be breached, then the being inside will die as nothing is keeping their consciousness or energy based body grounded anymore)
So I'm making a faction called the Draetor Empire, who are, well this.

"The Draetor are an ancient race of biologically immortal humanoid aliens, rumored to be as old or even older than the Ashtar themselves, who achieved a form of energy based ascension in ages past thanks to their experiments into the nature of energy in the observable universe and several close joint research projects with the Ashtar and their psionic technology. Also, despite being structured and operated like a traditional empire, the Draetor value scientific and cultural advancement over conquest and imperialism, meaning that they are a rather peaceful race and, as such, did not participate in the Great War.

It should be noted however, that even though they are not a warlike people by nature, the Draetor still see the benefits of having a reasonably strong military presence in their sector of the galaxy and will not hesitate to go to war if attacked."

Anyway, I was thinking that instead of living on planets, they instead live on one massive hyper-dreadnought around the same size as Jupiter (possibly), which is powered by the energy siphoned from stars. And let me make this clear, the drained stellar energy would be for travel purposes only. Nothing more, nothing less. Other than that, I was thinking they move from star system to star system every hundred years or so and exchange knowledge with other races.

So, does that sound acceptable? Or is it too OP? Also, I might just limit their involvement with the Ashtar to brief interactions rather than long term research projects as I'm not certain of all the lore in play here.

I'm sure it'll work out, we're always here to answer questions or give advice.

Thanks. I might need some when it comes to FTL type stuff as I'm not the best when it comes to calculating travel times and distances on a stellar scale.
@ZAVAZggg It is still open.

Cool. Again, not sure if I've got what it takes, but I figure it's worth a try at least. Going to try and make a faction inspired by the Vodyani from ES 2. Whether or not that will actually work out though is anyone's guess.
I'm expressing very tentative interest if this is still accepting as, while I love world building, I'm not sure I'll have what it takes to participate in a roleplay of this scope. If I do decide to join and make a faction however, I might make one that takes large inspiration from the Vodyani faction of Endless Space 2. Not entirely sure how that would work here, but it's an idea.

{{Location - Renatus Bridge | Galactic Sector - Unknown}}

"My ship does posses such drives, yes. Although I am not sure about the others." Valtrix replied, gesturing to the other delegations present. "As for the idea of exploring other star systems, I agree fully. Our current location certainly doesn't seem to contain the answers we seek, so it is probably best that we search for them elsewhere." He said, nodding slightly. Pausing briefly to take a breath, Valtrix was about to say more when two notifications flashed on a nearby console. Getting up, the Lantean captain walked over to a nearby console and pressed a clear crystalline button which brought up a display of the surrounding space on a dark screen at the consoles center. Off to the far left of the screen was a small white blip, one that was much smaller than the surrounding blips which indicated the other ships, which was remaining completely stationary. Ornus examined the screen, his eyes narrowing slightly as he did so. He hadn't seen the craft the fist time he activated the ships scanners. Sending out a brief hail asking the craft to identify itself, Valtrix pushed another button, switching the screen from a 2D field of the surrounding space to a live feed of the Renatus' interior hanger where another ship was docked.

Taking a minute to examine it, Valtrix finally realized that the craft and the people with it were the delegation sent from the Kearsarge. Pressing another button on the console, Valtrix activated the ships interior coms and sent a message to the group.

"Welcome aboard my ship." He said, speaking into the com. "We are currently holding our discussion on the primary bridge. I'll use the ships lighting systems to guide you towards my location. Also, some delegations from the other craft are already here and they might seem quite... unusual, so I ask that you keep those bearing arms among you in check. I do not want a firefight on my ship." Releasing the button, Valtrix quickly strode over to another console and entered a series of commands to the ships lighting systems which would cause them to turn off and on after a brief delay and in a very specific sequence that lead all the way from the hanger where the Kearsarge's delegation was, to the primary bridge. Stepping away from the console, Valtrix returned to the control chair and sat down. Propping his left leg up onto his right one and steepling his fingers, Valtrix leaned backwards slightly in the alien looking seat as he waited for the others in the room to put in their two cents on the matter.
If you want. I can go either way.
~ALASTOR~

Alastor let out a soft grunt as he felt a deep rumble radiate throughout the depths of his bodies core. A rather strange sensation to be honest, but one that wasn't too dissimilar to what he had felt before draining that man of... well, whatever it was he had drained him of. It was almost like a... hunger of some kind.

And that's when it hit him.

Human's, from the stories he'd heard told by his scouts, needed physical sustenance to survive rather than the chaos energy upon which he and his people naturally produced and absorbed. Looking about at the urban environment around him, Alastor noticed a small building with two golden arches on its front. Feeling another one of those rumbles bubble up deep within his bodies gut, the Laizu let out a small sigh as he made his way to the place.

He hoped that this habit of eating wouldn't become too much of a distraction in the future.
I'll see about getting another post up for Valtrix.

Rayner was just about to take a bite of the salsa covered tortilla chip he had pinched between his fingers, when the orange skinned woman he saw earlier bumped into him, knocking not only the chip from his hand, but the food from his tray as well. Thankfully though, Rayner had managed to move at the last moment, avoiding the worst of the spillage. Some of the sauce from the steak bowl had still managed to get on his coat, but it wasn't anything a quick spell in the wash couldn't fix. "Ah, don't sweat..." He began, but stopped midsentence as the woman quickly excused herself and headed towards the restrooms.

"Huh... wonder what's up with her?" He mused as a waiter came by and began cleaning up the mess, apologizing profusely for the inconvenience. Rayner simply waved his apologies away with a disarming smile and reached for a napkin from a nearby holder instead as the man finished cleaning up the last of the spilt food. Carefully wiping away some of the stains on his coat, Rayner quickly spun round as he heard someone approach him, and saw that it was the orange skinned woman from earlier who was already apologizing just as profusely as the waiter had, despite not even being within normal speaking distance. "Ah don't worry about it." He said with a slight shrug as he raised his hands in a nonthreatening manner, hoping to calm her down somewhat. "It's just food. I can always get more later, so you don't have to worry about it." Chuckling slightly, Rayner finished cleaning off his coat before wadding up the napkin into a ball and tossing it onto the tray that the waiter had brought with him to transport the mess as he left. Moving over to the table and taking a seat, Rayner slowly leaned back in his chair and steepled his fingers, nodding slightly as she introduced herself.

"Starfire huh?" He said, cracking a small smile. "Well, that earlier mishap aside, it's nice to meet you. My name's Rayner." He said, extending his right hand for a shake.
