|Skills |» Like her mother, she is the exception of being the stereotypical eye candy, damsel in distress, male servant, or any other female archetypes you can think on the spot about females and reality TV. She doesn't buff any man or woman but herself UNLESS they are her segment's subjects. Joy's personality shines through and would be her greatest strength. Incredibly engaging and gets individuals to think. She's admirably natural and doesn't need a script to get the worthwhile answers everyone is dying to hear.
Thanks to her mother's reputation, she's allowed to be herself fully and does not rely on her looks to sell her points, even when it's just mindless fun with Wade and Company! Joy is not a mediocre woman and it shows on screen. Quick-witted. Observant and takes everything in. There are times that her siblings say she's a walking library and knows the most obscure facts, which actually benefit her in the long run. If you tell her to recall an event and her favorite moment, she can give a highly detailed description of it, including odd imagery like the type of drink Kane Zimmerman decided to try before the show (and could have possibly regretted his decision). Kane can be an idiot, at times. But he's lovable and knows what he's doing.
She doesn't know this thing called sleep. If she could, Joy would take sleep out of her schedule and spend her nights researching and preparing for the next event. Hardworking and driven, through and through. AWE is her passion. Her life. And she can only aspire to be like her late mother, Elise Ryder, formally known as Elise Larson, AND her mentor, Wade Palmer (who is dating her baby sister, Trinity. Yai boi. Geterin)! She also NEVER takes completely over. Her subjects, usually the wrestlers, the stars of the show, are ultimately the focus of her commentary.
|Reason for being here |» Is that even a question? AWE is all she's ever known. She was born in Philly during Extreme Takeover Philadelphia 1992. The loss of her mother was hard for her to get over but she's made a conscious decision to become just like her and perhaps even better. She loves wrestling just as much as any other fan and maybe even more, which influences her want to leave an everlasting impression on the screen because like her sister, she was made for this. A Ryder was made for AWE wrestling.
|Looks & Style |» One of her most prominent features is her blue eyes, which incorporate gray, blue, and purple. She assumes she gets it from her mother's side, since her mother had gorgeous green. Her vibrant emotions emanate from her enticing stare and truly get people to stop and look at her. There is never any doubt in them, which is an admirable feature to have. Conventional, comfortable, and subtly stylish are terms that would best describe Joy's wardrobe. She honestly could careless what she throws on her body but as an on-air personality, she has to put some care in her looks. She'll never be as official as her mother was, but she will bring her own look to the table and be remembered for her! She loves the color scheme red, black, and white, so that isn't unusual to see in her attire.
Joy is definitely the extrovert in her family. Her gaze is truly the gateway to her soul and gives a glimpse of her ambition, dreams, and goals. Never too heavy with makeup, Joy has pale, fair skin, faint dark circles when not covered by foundation, and usually, always, even since she was a little girl, a hair style with bangs. The main allure to her exterior is her confidence. She isn't one to brood on her mistakes and failures. If she falls, she'll pick her self up and keep moving.

However, this year has been her year of making feats that prove to the world that she has potential to be a great on-air personality and it's all thanks to her mentor, Wade Palmer, who reminds her that finding the story shouldn't be the only focus. The story is important, yes, but it's not the story the people can relate to, it's the people in the story. He's helped her realize her natural skill of finding the humanity and realness in her subjects and aids her in honing her gift in empathy. To use that to get her places, but most importantly, to give their audience a closer look into the individuals behind the Stars. Prior to her pursuing her career, she was known as Heath's sassy, highly opinionated daughter that absolutely loved questioning everyone and anyone. The one who talked so much, especially when she was little and walking backstage to give her father a glomp after he had just wrestled, that sometimes people couldn't help but point her in the direction of someone else. Now she's known as Joy Ryder, Elise's legacy, a self starter and the mind behind Do or Die, a new series that has gained more attraction than she expected (her pilot, starring Caiden Winters, definitely set the bar).
