Well i dont know you that well but just from what i have seen and wildly guesing give me a few more precent of being right.

How many chars we allowed?
And since this is 20 years after the manga, would there be cursed 'children' who are late teens/early adults?
Although BakaTsuki stopped updating the light novel, sad face...

Caits rarely puts a charachter limit on her rps so i think yoi can make as much as you like but... ive seen it happen before that people made 13 charachters and figured out it was to hard to controll all of them at once so please take that in concideration

A somewhat loud screeching sound echoed throughout the empty streets. Every several seconds the screeching sounded again and drew a little forward. The streets were filled with rubble and trash that was all light up by the large sun above the world. Some buildings covered parts of the street in a deep cold shadow. A small trail of blood followed the screeching sound. The amount of blood wasn't much but it already was a rather long trail in itself. But there was something else lying on the street, it could be seen by the sun. Glimmering brightly on the street as the screeching kept moving forward. Multiple tears were lying close by the trail of blood together with a new sound. The sound of a sobbing little girl that was walking all alone down the street. The wounds that she had gotten during her last event hadn't completely healed yet and were leaving a long trail of blood on the ground. She was dragging her boomerang along with her but she didn't felt the need to hold it properly and even wondered why she was still taking it along with her. The small girl was holding the boomerang onto one of his knifes that was slowly burying deeper into her hand. The girls name was Mai and she had just lost one of her most valuable things in the world. Her partner.

The girl three feet and seven inches tall, dark purple hair, fiftyfive pound heavy and with the model of the arctic fox was wandering down the street with no particular goal in mind. Once she finally had found a purpose in life she had all soon lost it and ended up on the streets again. There wasn't much she could, there were either two options for her to chose from: one would be to return to the agency again and end up getting a new partner or two, returning to the outer districts again stealing and survival for herself. She didn't want either of them and was quickly trying to find the third option which wasn't the happiest option in the world. Mai hasn't been keeping track of where she was wandering completely and soon found out that the direction she was heading wasn't the best way to go. Before Mai knew it she felt something hard hit her head and made her immediately fall over. Mai her vision began to get a little blurry from the hit and made her react of pain by placing both her hands on the spot she was hit. Mai had already dropped her weapon but didn't intend to grab it either way and already gave up. Once she had opened up her eyes Mai already felt something tugging on her dark purple tail. The ground began to distant from her body as she was being raised up by her tail and flung around against the side of a wall. Mai hasn't even seen the thing that hit her yet and was already being beaten to pulp. Mai tried moving herself up a little with her right arm and looked over at the thing that was hitting her.

A young looking man from around his thirties was heavily beating her up. He wasn't that much of a talker but let out a snicker from time to time. Mai already was intending to die but. It was still scary to die like this. Mai stood up and tried moving away from the man but the man rushed towards her and gave a heavy hit against her face. Mai breathed heavily while slowly moving over to her weapon and felt the foot of the man hitting her a few more times before she arrived. As quickly as she could she trew one of her knives into his left leg. Before she could dash away from him she already retrieved the knife from him. The knife was stuck in the right side of her back but at least the man was more or less unable to walk now. After Mai had made quite some distance she stopped for a moment and fell down to her knees while dropping her weapon and spitting out some blood. She slowly started crying again and tried pulling out her own knife out of her back but was unable to properly pull it out of her back by herself. There was she... Crying... alone on the street... after losing her partner... and all beat up... how could her day get any worse...

SAO: Living in Aincrad

Yui felt guilty for Umichi needing to stop Tatsumi and immediately tried protesting a little "N-no, I I didn't mean it like that." Yui was just slightly frightened Umichi might give him a punch or something or that a fight would break out. Well she didn't hang around with a lot of boys when they weren't stuck in the game yet but when she did they would mostly fight each other or get dirty and bruises all over them because they liked it. She lightly tapped her index fingers against each other in front of her body as her eyes somewhat averted to the ground "I-I don't like that people suddenly touch me out of nowhere. S-so please be a little more obvious about it when you feel the urge t-too." Suddenly dropped the guilty look and immediately bowed her upper body down "S-sorry for making you all go t-through so much trouble." She stood upright again and looked around the group. Yui saw Suki approach her and already expected the hug to comfort her. She braced herself by tightly closing her eyes and felt the light squeeze of Suki. Long after she let go again she slowly opened her eyes again to go back to what she was originally doing.

Yui got her attention back to the blacksmith again and immediately apologised for holding up his time like that "S-sorry." Yui listened to what the blacksmith had to say and immediately gave a bright red blush while Umichi also started talking "O-of course I knew that, hehe." She went completely silent and began looked through the swords some more to avoid saying any more weird stuff. Yui didn't really know much about the swords and it all seemed pretty expensive in her eyes so she would just go with what the blacksmith had to offer. "I'd like the l-long blade, but can you keep the Breaker apart from the others since I would like to save up for it."

Victorique saw Kalinda run off after Dimitri and felt somehow a little happier knowing she wasn't the only one who cared about their classmates. Soon she couldn't see Kalinda anymore and turned her full attention to Ju-Long. She stepped so close by his back as she possibly could and immediately felt his arms grabbing a hold of her legs. She released a small gasp and quickly grabbed onto his shoulder pressing herself closely towards him. She blushed a little and slowly backed off from his back a little. She could feel his warmth being so close to him, she couldn't deny that it wasn't nice but it was a little embarrassing and guilty, letting him do all the work. Victorique quietly listened to his words she gave a small nod and sound at him "hmm hmm" telling the absolute truth about her wanna be friends with him, but shook her head when he said she could cry "No, I'm not really a person that cries a lot." She looked down for a moment but gave a gentle smile while they both silently walked through the hallway. There weren't much people walking around to their surprise which made it even more embarrassing and awkward to talk. Victorique wasn't so big of a talker so Ju-Long was the only one around here who could make it at least a little remarkable.

Ju-Long suddenly started talking about with who she would like to partner up with. Victorique went quiet for a while "...I like them both. Despites Alisa had already asked Dimitri so it think pairing up with Kalinda might be better." Her voice turned quiet again "...But that doesn't mean I don't mind partnering up with you or Dimitri." There really wasn't much to say and in fact she even noticed she had basically repeated herself again but she had to try and fill in the time a little "I was a NOT student before... and haven't got into much fights." In fact Victorique had to stay back most of the times since she didn't have a fitting meister that could wield her well. But of course that would be private for now. Before they knew it Kalinda had returned from her small hunt. Despites Kalinda immediately began talking about food she still jumped up a little and began talking out of herself which was rather rare "Did you lose him." It was a quite humble voice but she still had that worrisome look on her face from before. However the idea of Kalinda wasn't such a bad one.

Yui turned her head over to Umichi who seemed to have a rather good tip for her. Yui stammered a little and gave a understanding reply to Umichi "Y-yes!" She almost raised her hand like a soldier and turned around again to the blacksmith while opening up her menu and took a glance over her stats. To her surprise the only stat the man was using was Strength. She pondered for a moment as to why he didn't say anything about Agility and was clearly confused. It was already rather obvious which sword she was gonna buy since the other ones were way to expensive for her. Yui stammered in reply to the blacksmith nervously "I-i can only buy the long b-blade and have e-enough strength for it b-but how many agility do I need." To most of the people in the blacksmith shop this sounded stupid enough but Yui still carefully smiled not knowing a thing.

Out of nowhere she jumped to the side a little as she felt something on her head. At first she thought it might have been a really large spider and even made a small squeaking sound when it happened. Her eyes filled with fear as she looked over at Tatsumi. She was however a little relieved that it was just Tatsumi instead of the spider and bended her knees a little catching her breath. She heard Tatsumi out and gave reply to the large boy "B-but I don't have enough money and and." She averted her eyes a little and blushed a little "I'm not that small and fast." This was clearly a big lie but she believed it herself. When she was finished talking she felt the hand rub her head. She panicked a little and made a annoyed face at him. Once he left again she carefully tried to fix her hair again and do the last few things around the blacksmith.
